Friendly and helpful staff It was slightly overpriced based on my experiences with similar Hotels countrywide. Room rate was £79 b&b, Breakfast (full English) was acceptable but the portion size may have disappointed some people. I would have expected a rate of about £60 - £65. Nevertheless I will probably use the Hotel again (for convenience) but not give a strong recommendation to others. |

Nice and comfortable hotel, albeit decorated in a slightly old fashioned manner. Good breakfast, friendly staff, and clean and tidy throughout. Ideal for a short break / base. i-Pod dock on the TV in the room was a bonus!! Carpet on the bathroom floor. |

The hotel is situated next to Promenade, convenient for beach etc. Comfortable bed. Parking on Hotel forecourt is tricky (only 4 spaces) and it is on a mini roundabout. Carpet in room needed more time with the vacuum cleaner. |

All staff were very helpful and friendly especially the young girls who served at breakfast time. I thought the amount charged for my single room was extortionate. I have stayed in much bigger rooms in b&b's for half the price charged and at this time of year (August) This was the only fault. |

Internet access. Friendly and competent staff. Unfussy check-in/check-out procedure. Satisfactory breakfast choice. Inadequate and dangerous parking facilities. |

It was pleasant and quiet, despite being on the seafront. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was lovely. The room was a bit too hot but I opened the window so that helped. |

I waited 25 Min for my breakfast to arrive, (I only asked for a piece of fish) and it still did not arrive. I had to leave and go to work with an empty stomach. They refunded me for the breakfast but would rather have somthing to eat before work. |

Reasonable sized room with high ceilings sea view clean rest areas and restaurant There was a street lamp right outside the bedroom window and the curtains were wafer thin - it was like daylight in the roomand we didn't get much sleep . The hotel is right on a busy road with a roundabout immediately outside the traffic noise was horrendous. The bathroom /toilet had carpet instead of tiles - yuk! |

The location was good. Penzance was run down but within travelling distance of various other places of interest The room - though I understand was one of the best could have done with being decorated; there were patches of damp, a window would not open as a "part had been ordered" which had obviously been like that for a long time; there was horrible pink carpet in the bathroom. |

We enjoyed the stay and want to give a bank Thank You to the lyo lady who let us in 12.00 midnight. We forgot about the time and did not have a late key!!. Sleeping in the car was not a great thought! One small negative, they should renew their pillows, I have to bolster up with towels as they were so flat. |

Friendliness and competence of staff. Good, well prepared food. Lovely views of sea from bedroom. Rather hard, tired mattress and very thin sheets. |
