Beachy Rise  

We were impressed with the cleanliness and space of the room. The host was helpful.

I really liked the feel of the b&b it had lovely character and nicely decorated. It was very clean and had a home from home family feel. It was further away from shops and beach but we walked it in 20 minutes and had a lovely meal out. Breakfast was lovely and our baby was well catered for. We wld recommend.

Delightful and helpful hosts. Excellent location for walking. Good, frequent and very local bus - 12 minutes into the heart of Eastbourne. Also fabulous breakfasts!

There was nothing to dislike

We were warmly welcomed at Beachy Rise, and well looked after throughout our stay. Our bedroom and the breakfast room were large, bright and sunny, overlooking a pretty garden. The house is decorated with great taste, in keeping with the age and style of the property. Our breakfasts (full-English, cooked to order) made a lovely start to the day. We didn't use the car at all during our stay as it was an easy downhill walk to the beach, local shops and restaurants, and Eastbourne centre. We returned on the double decker tourist bus, which stops at nearby Beachy Head. We would happily stay here again if we return to Eastbourne.

Felt very welcoming, bedroom was lovely and big and the breakfast was wonderful! Will definately be staying here again!

The only small thing would be parking but it wasnt a major problem!

Susanne provided great welcome and useful local information as well as a terrific breakfast. Room was well appointed and I did not want to get out of bed.

Parking is on street which might prove a problem in high season, but it was not a problem on this visit.

The landlady was very friendly and helpful and the room and breakfast was excellent.

Warm welcome, lovely comfortable spacious quiet room overlooking the garden. Good breakfast. Very close to Beachy Head, local shops and walking distance to Eastbourne town centre. Also dog friendly was very important.

well presented b+b in great location near village shops with friendly local pubs and restraunts within walking distance. Short walk to stunning cliff top path overlooking beachy head and the south downs way . Coastal path to Eastbourne about 15 minutes. Friendly relaxed and obliging hosts with good breakfast. Would recomend to any one who wants a quieter location to the centre of Eastbourne.

The guest house is in an excellent location, whether you want to enjoy long walks in the South Downs or by the sea or a spot of shopping, and one of the nicest in Eastbourne. The accommodation was clean and with a very nice feel to it. Breakfast was lovely. The owner was really nice and very pleasing. I intend to visit Eastbourne again and I will try to book the same guest house again. All in all I thought it is excellent value for money.

Nice quiet location but only ten minutes walk into town ,very clean and great host who couldnt do enough for you ,even cooked me low fat sausages grilled toms and mushrooms for breakfast as I am doing slimming world diet I found beachy rise great value for money and would recomend to anyone stopping at eastbourne on a budget . will stop again when I next visit the area.

The warm friendly welcome when we arrived, the location for us was just great and we were surprised how quite it was. The room was very clean and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, and the breakfast was lovely. We could recomend Beachy Rise to anyone as long as you can climb a few stairs.

Quiet location. Friendly staff. Room was neat and clean with a cosy feel. Easy walking to good resteraunts and friendly pubs. Reasonable walking distance to seaside.

Very nice family-style house. The stay at Beachy rise was a very nice one. We've been kindly welcome by Susan on our arrival. We were staying in a very nice bedroomat the top of the house. The bathroom was a bit old, but ok. We got good advice for dinner in a pub close by, The Ship Inn, which serves excellent and big dinner. The breakfast was very nice, with a good traditionnal english breakfast, and a good choice from the buffet.
