This Victorian house, built in 1863 is nestled in the heart of the ancient fishing town of Brixham. Beacon House offers picturesque views over the sea and nearby harbour. Free private parking is available, as well as a garden and sun terrace. Views of the sea, harbour or marina are featured in each room at Beacon House, as well as free Wi-Fi, an en suite bathroom and a tea/coffee making facilities. Many rooms feature original Victorian furnishings, such as fireplaces and exposed floorboards. A freshly prepared full English breakfast is served in the breakfast room, which offers striking views of the marina and also includes continental options. It was quite simply the nicest guesthouse I've ever stayed at. Amanda and Nigel made us feel so welcome from the start and were superb hosts. The breakfast was great and I would heartily recommend Beacon House to any of my friends and family.

Fantastic view of Brixham harbour, really friendly welcome and attention to detail from the owners. Excellant room, especially the Bay view with balcony The weather could have been better, not controlled by the B&B owners!!

Fabulous view from our room and from every aspect of Beacon House. Excellent hosts , fab breakfast , spotless, super comfy bed with crisp white covers. Brixham was lovely picture perfect.

We where made to feel very welcome at Beacon House from start to finish.Nothing was too much trouble for Nigel and Amanda. Superb breakfast and a view to die for!Would recommend Beacon House to our friends and family.

Nigel and Amanda were delightful hosts of a wonderful B&B. Brixham is a glorious seaside village and Beacon House affords a great view of the village and the harbour. The Queens Arms, a very short walk away, is also a great little pub. I regret that we had only the one night's stay.

This B&B is fantastic. Anyone staying here will not be disappointed. The rooms are beautifully done and spotlessly clean. Breakfast and all the other special little touches make for the perfect stay. The other big plus is the welcome from Nigel and Amanda. All in all Superb!

Nigel and Amanda are both terrific hosts and went out of their way to welcome us, with afternoon tea on arrival, just the start. We arrived on their pirate weekend in the town, so it was a great atmosphere in the town. All the rooms have great views, off street parking a bonus and excellent cooked breakfast. You could not go wrong booking here, they deserve to do well. Nothing not to like, maybe just leaving...

We loved everything about this charming, stylish Bed and Breakfast. From the initial warm greeting from Nigel right the way through to our sad farewell. The room was delightful and the breakfast that was prepared by Amanda and Nigel was superb with lots of unique little delicacies such as Amandas stewed Rhubarb. Two little lemon sponges complete with party poppers and a greeting were discretely placed in our room on our anniversary - really we felt spoilt, valued and extremely welcome. We thoroughly recommend this 'find' and will be regular visitors ourselves.

The owners, Nigel and Amanda were so friendly and welcomed us both with a pot of tea and homemade flap jack to die for. Nothing was too much trouble. They are new to the area but have embraced Brixham and familiarised themselves with the local history and offer wonderful advice for restaurants and bars. The rooms were beautifully decorated, with everything clean and well maintained and I have never slept in a more comfortable bed. The sun shone in the morning and the views were truly fantastic. The breakfast was unsurpassable and caters for every pallette. I would be delighted to recommend, "The Beacon House" to anyone looking for a real treat. I find it impossible to fault anything.

This is a real find. Amanda and Nigel were the perfect hosts who genuinely put their guests comfort first. The quality of the finish throughout the whole property is first class with attention to detail really coming to the fore. Breakfast is also a winner along with Amanda's daily home Made cake. Superb in all areas. Colin and Jill will most certainly be back! Thank you for a great stay. Nothing to dislike.

The view from my room overlooking the whimsical Brixham harbour was fabulous. The little details in the room such as sailing-inspired decorations made this B&B memorable. Nigel was an excellent host who made sure that my stay was well taken care of. The B&B was little hard to find at first. But that wasn't anything major.

Beacon House has a warm atmosphere. The couple who run it are helpful, friendly and go out of their way to make your stay agreeable. The view from the bedroom is beautiful and the breakfast in the morning caters for all tastes. From a practical aspect - having a carpark is definitely a plus.

Beacon House was wonderful and lived up to its excellent reviews. The views are spectacular, as was the breakfast, especially the apricots & figs in tea and orange juice. Nigel & Amanda very welcoming and tea and cakes on arrival was one of the nice touches. Bed exceptionally comfortable and guest living room lovely. Liked the wine glasses in bedroom! Beautiful garden, but too cold to use!!

Beacon House is a superb guest house. Beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable and the breakfast, well.... lots of delicious fresh fruit to start and then the best scrambled egg with smoked salmon!! Amanda and Nigel could not have been more welcoming and helpful. 10/10 all round! Our stay was tooshort!!

Wow - we liked everything about this place! Welcoming, spotlessly clean, good breakfast, fantastic from the moment of arrival to the sad moment we had to leave! Absolutely the best guesthouse we have stayed in and very relaxing atmosphere which is down to Nigel and Amanda who deserve every credit. Absolutely nothing to dislike whatsoever!
