The rip off prices for food and the bar, just because your in the middle of nowhere doesn't mean a free for all on prices I will not be returning

the tranquil location

I was very cold and didnt get to fall asleep because of the cold. Other than that the facilities were good, I just wish spare bedding had been put up in the room

The rooms. Great staff. Location Good nights sleep until 06:45 when tradesmen leave, see noise generating corridor. If they invest some money people may still come however, it was like this 6 to 8 months ago so it may be too late already. It could be really quite acceptable but time is running out.

Don't look out of the window (room 217) Bedside table lamps don't work. Bathroom extractor didn't work. No hot water 07:45 second day. Noise generating vaulted ceiling in corridor. Very expensive drinks (£4.75 125ml of average red wine).

The room didn't have any towels, the radiator supplied did not work. Their was no toilet roll in the bath room. When I tried to find a member of staff, the young lady informed me it wasn't her a problem and to find someone else

Room was bright and modern and well appointed with all you need for a one night stay. The introductory offer of £39 offered good value if you judge this on the quality of the hotel room only.

Arriving in the dark, nightmare to know where reception was, needs much better signage and lighting. Reception is in the golf shop which I found bizarre for somewhere calling itself Beadlow "Manor", more like a motel. No info pack or anything to suggest this is a hotel to help the guest with restaurant menus/opening times etc, no ambiance at all of a hotel. Side of the bath was hanging off and you had to manually let the water out of the sink as the plug didn't work. More work needed to turn this into a hotel from what it is at present....a golf course with some rooms

- the freshness of the refurbishments -the courtesy of staff and easy-going friendly approach to service, which felt relaxed and nice. - the view over the course from my window - the comparative quiet. -the relaxed atmosphere - the check out was too early: mid-day 'check-out' and a 15.00hrs 'check -in,' would be reasonable. - the price was perfect as I was on a budget having been off work as ill for a few months.

-the sounds of others, for example: I could hear a couple in the bath early in the morning - being able to hear others' tv's and so on seemed more amplified that a travelodge. However the same as St Giles in central London. - Although the roms are newly refurbished to a good standard the paintwork and decor is poor in parts. - the entrance to the hotel itself was cold and felt unwelcoming due to the emptiness, lack of warmth and some other intagible element that just felt odd.

Very nice room in an almost empty hotel.

Being hit with a higher price on arrival than the Booking.com price that had accidently been for two people for a 2 x double bed suite room instead of 5 people with 2 x double bed suite. Price rose by £20 per night from £79 to £118 on arrival. Given that this was Boxing Day to visit family it was impossible to refuse the room or find an alternative.

Lack of guidance at breakfast 're protocol. Very little communication with waitress

Room was spotlessly clean,staff friendly very private when asked staff were very helpfull also as our stay was in winter time could adjust heating in room to suit us

We had to go across to club house for breakfast but unless you asked there were no instuctions telling you this when arriving at club house waited for half an hour thinking someone would come and take our order then relised we had to go to bar to order our food ,no instructions telling us this so could find no fault with accomadation but eating arrangements need to be made clearer maybe a card in each room with this information would help as there is no reception in hotel so no one to guide you,being english speaking we found our way around but I would think people from other countries would be confused

The food was good and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable

The bedrooms were a couple of minutes walk in the open air from the restaurant and bar Not ideal in the rain or cold. The reception was the golf club shop and the layout was really confusing and poorly signposted.

Bar very expensive, maybe why it was empty? Also food range VERY basic.

I had a problem with the TV in my room and the manager moved me to another room. very good specification, love the tiles and finish. Lots of good value freebies in room

Double bed a bit small? Long walk to room

The location is close to my daughter's house. The price is very reasonable and the breakfast was good Nasir, who I believe was the manager, was very helpful in arranging an extra night at very short notice.

The restaurant is geared up for golfers who are happy to collect their mug of tea,knife and fork and condiments and self serve the cerials.With a charming lady in attendance who was doing everything except the cooking I can understand why. If you want first class service you must expect to pay first class prices.This is not a criticism, just a comment. We will always use this hotel if they are not fully booked

building looked a bit shabby but was being renovated

The breakfast was well cooked but I paid £11 for two bacon rolls with sausage and we actually got two mini rolls each which were about three inches across with a tiny amount of bacon and a half sausage on each. We also had a cup of instant coffee. Absolute disgrace.
