Beales Hotel  

Good hotel.. Great modern facilities.. Quiet rooms.. We had lunch there and the food was surprisingly good. My room a bit too warm.. But the bed was spacious and well made. Overall a very positive feedback!

Beales Hotel was a good location for the trip we were on , we only stayed for one night but I would hope to go back again and stay longer next time ... Breakfast starts at 8pm on Sunday mornings but the chef and staff facilitated us by starting at 7.30am because we had to leave early than expected due to ferry times bring changed because of weather conditions . And Breakfast was great , Thanks ! Hope to stay again in the future ... Love the biscuits in room with tea/ coffee

On arrival the receptionist was very friendly, easily found our booking. Our room was an executive room I felt this was a standard room, I expected more luxury. There was no newspaper, wine, robe or slippers upon arrival of our room. Although I did contact reception this was sorted straight away but the housekeeper walked straight into our room without knocking and we were getting ready for a friends wedding. Breakfast very nice and very nice staff. For the price I do feel it wasn't value for money as I have stayed at west lodge and preferred my stay there.

Rooms were lovely and tidy, bathroom good size, bed was comfortable

There was a breakfast price mix up and the promotion wasn't clear. Even so if breakfast is not including charging £16 per breakfast per person is ridiculously over priced for what it is. I'm sure even the Savoy is cheaper!! Beales are certainly missing out on trade because of the cost of the breakfast. I saw numerous people enquire about the breakfast only to turn away due to a ridiculous cost for what should be a cheap meal.

Great location for shopping, restaurants and cinema @ the galleria. Plenty of free on site parking. Buffet breakfast was good value at £8 if booked at time of booking.

Didnt have some of the extras in the room that were stated on booking, (slippers, robe, wine, news paper). Apart from that all good

Clean, modern hotel, which was quiet.

Bed was very soft. No safe, and towels were worn and thin. No flannels or robes, all things that are usually provided nowadays.

Very clean and modern. Staff were extremely good, breakfast staff especially so. Room was very good and well appointed. Very convenient to shops and university.

The bed was too soft, we ended up rolling into the middle, not sleeping particularly well, and back ache in the morning. W'd definitely stay again but ask for a firmer bed. There was also quite a bit of noise from the next room, so we'd also ask for a room away from others if possible.

I wanted a relax weekend before I starting my business - and it was.. Staff was very kind, helpful
