LOCATION AND ROOMS
THEY STOP SERVING FOOD AT 21. 00 HOURS I ARRIVED AFTER A LONG JOURNEY AND WAS TOLD NO FOOD AFTER 21.00 VERY DISAPOINTED AS THERE WAS NO WHERE ELSE TO EAT
Everything. The room was a nice size and everything worked and I got fantastic service in the restaurant early evening.
Nothing. It was all fantastic.
We arrived just before 8pm and we were still able to have an evening meal which was excellent both in quality and value.
My bed was a little hard for my liking but my husband thought it was fine.
Food in restaurant was excellent and good value.
We chose this hotel as they didn't bump up their price just because the Ryder Cup was nearby. Fabulous room, we were given the honeymoon suite which is gorgeous. Nice meal at a very reasonable price. Free parking.
Bit noisy in the night with other guests coming in late and leaving early
This was our second stay at Beancross and it won't be our last. Lovely clean room with massive bath. Breakfast was a lovely full Scottish.
We had one of the smaller rooms but I suppose someone has to. Beans were a bit on the cold side.
Clean, large rooms with tea nd coffee, har drier, ironing board etc,. Quiet location close to major roads. This is my second visit and I will using it again on all my future visits.
the location was great close to the train station also to the falkirk wheel. the food at the restaurant (both dinner and breakfast) was wonderful also. very accomidating staff.
Room was roomy and comfortable and very clean
Just a few technical niggles, like the extractor fan in the bathroom did not work; we could not find the switch that worked the overbed lamp.
Very pleased with all aspects of our stay.
Restaurant seemed to be very popular with locals. Nicely cooked breakfast In the room there was a little alcove with mirror and plug next to it for drying your hair.(very rare in even the best hotels) £60 for bed and breakfast during the commonwealth games was a bargain.
I loved the New York room! Was totally stunning didn't expect it to be so big , will most certain be returning
Room withviewof roof
Friendly staff, good food, very nice room and excellent value for money. Room temperature perfect, not overheated as hotels often can be.
Would be good to put soap holders in shower and bath.
Fantastic room (found out it was the "honeymoon suit") but good value good friendly service & free Wi-fi
Easy to find, near everything we wanted to visit, spacious room
We should have been told the bathroom was for disabled persons and offered an alternative particularly as they were not full. We did not complain which perhaps we should have done
restaurant very good value for money. Rooms excellent for the price. Good staff
restaurant very busy at times and noisy (lots of screaming kids)
Friendly and helpful staff. Room 12 (called New York) is spacious, clean with a large relatively comfortable bed (the pillows are less so). The only objection is that the television was wall mounted on the side wall which made viewing from the bed a bit difficult. The bathroom had a new, large shower cubicle and a separate bathtub, but it would be truly great if it had a shelf for the toiletries.
Arrived 9pm no food available Last orders called at 9.40pm and lights out at 10pm and had to go to room
Pub atmosphere and good restaurant.
Accomodation is above a reception/function centre. The night of our stay (Saturday) coincided with a wedding. Fortunately our room was one of the fiurthest away from the noise and did not intrude but it may be a problem for other rooms closer to the action.
Poor Breakfast choice, no shower in room, poor check in facilities
Excellant value for money.
This is the second time we have stayed here and although the room was not as big as the first it was big enough. You could swim in the bath it is so deep
Our window opened out on to a roof so there was absolutely no view
the bedroom and bathroom size, the morning cooked breakfast was excellent
food lovely, graet value for money. staff very helpful and friendly. would stay there again and have recommended this to friends.
unforturnaly there was a wedding so there was noise, but not too much.
