Location Room service Comfort of room
That they still had smoking rooms!
Location, ease of access and facilities. Evening menu and breakfast choice
Great location with a quick exit to the Highlands and beyond. Lovely walk along the Bowling canal. Absolutely spotless rooms and many additional add-ons to make your stay perfect.
Entrance to hotel and local roadway. Grounds uninspiring. Lack of plants in reception to soften the large lobby area.
A proper iron an ironing board in the room as oppossed to the usual usless trouser press in most hotels. an Apple Mac in the room ! would have expected to pay 3 times the rate for this standard of hotel. Real receptionists and staff as opposed to the usual cardboard cutouts.
I was only there for one night
we like everything in the hotel including the leisure centre, and it is a lovely walk along the river the staff are very helpful and very friendly. we have always had excellent service during our stays.
not enough tea or coffee etc in the room for a couple staying but reception provide plenty more if asked
the hole stay was enjoyable
the tv could have been easier to work
Very nice rooms
Great location with plenty parking and good internet connections. Great to have a fridge in the room. Bathroom had a good range of toiletries and fluffy towels. Noise free rooms.
The quality of the bed in the twin room. Mattress had a jaggy spring sticking it and I scratched my leg during the night. Hotel staff not interested when I complained. They did change the mattress next night.
The welcome provided by all staff. Room was clean and comfortable. A hidden gem!
Nothing to dislike
The Hotel is perfectly located. The choice of food was excellent with tastes for all. I ate in the Restaurant and also the bar, the high quality of food was equal in both. The grounds make a nice place to stroll after your meal, the hotel is on the banks of the river clyde. Rooms were big and spacious, cleanliness was of high standard. I would definitely recommend the Beardmore Hotel.
Location and facilities
Very soft bed and limited breakfast option
The whole experience was something special .
Rooms fantastic and bar area very comfortable. Great for a nightcap after a busy evening.
Only a very minor issue was a 10 minute wait for a table at breakfast.
Bed very comfortable. Very spacious. Roomy bathroom. Excellent breakfast
Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel. Loved the pool' the food and the atmosphere. Will certainly use the hotel again and would recommend it to friends and family.
Room sizes iMac in the room Located next to the river
Spacious location beside the Clyde with ample parking. Carpeted hallways. Spacious accommodation. Lovely warm pool open from 6.30 a.m. Delicious breakfast of ample choice. Late checkout at noon together with good service from staff contributed to an excellent overnight stay at short notice. We could not have made a better decision. Thank you Beardmore.
Bar is a bit sterile
Pleasant staff, nice view of Clyde, good atmosphere.
Bathroom (room 305) probably needs refurbishing before too long, but OK for now. Also wind from Clyde could be heard through double glazing.
the hotel are pool area are lovely
We ate in the bar, and the food was quite disappointing, however the staff were lovely and the breakfast made up for it.
Room was a good sandard, Good Facilities although I was unable to utilise this time? . . . Personnel very efficient on Reception. Good Parking facilities and grounds surrounding the hotel, impressive, Good Location for access into Glasgow, although a few miles further to travel. Room pricing acceptable, I statyed in 3 hotels in and around Glasgow this week and your rates were very competitive.
Quite slow in the restaurant and not the variety I'm expecting. Noise from the air conditioning. Not so efficient in the restaurant, I had to wait and gesture to take my order, I odered a drink . . . prior to my meal, still did not arrive and had to ask again during my starter, so more attention needed here. "Confused arrival", being that I was surprised of the positioning close to the Hospital, but not put off by this. Just was not expecting! Your breakfast pricing is very expensive . . . and gnerally I personally only take continental, I stay in many hotels and I consider your breakfast option of £14.00 is far too expensive.
'People make glasgow' was the slogan for the commonwealth games, and the staff at the Beardmore were proof of that! The hotel was a home away from home for my two week stay, with spacious, comfortable rooms and wonderful service throughout, from the front desk to the bar and restaurant. Great to be greeted with a smile at the start and end of a long day! They catered for and remembered dietary requests for breakfasts, and made good coffee to start the day! Apple Macs in the rooms for AV/computer are very handy.
No fridge in the room. Location is a bit far from the city action, but you can take a lovely walk along the canal to Clydebank.
Clean and comfortable room (with free upgrade). I-mac in the room was a nice touch. Receptionists were excellent
Breakfast was decidedly unappetising with very undercooked bacon served from a buffet being the lowlight.
Good Location close to railway station. Pool & Spa Ample parking
Staff seemed bored and unengaging. Showing signs of wear with little of no maintance. Room was ok but bathroom was poorly cleaned and showing signs of rust and mould on tile/bath faces. Fire alarm went off very early one morning not the hotels fault but the staff gave no information or guidence during or after the hotel was cleared.
