The staff and cleanliness were excellent. We had no opportunity to use the spa or leisure facilities.
The furniture and fitting were tired and was in need of repair or replacement. The heating system also requires overhaul to make it more reliable
Good sized room
Had to ask for another room as requests were not met on check-in
Staff were very friendly. Rooms spotless clean and comfortable. View from my room was excellent
Price a bit too high
The position of the hotel is ideal if you have a relative in hospital.
The hotel is rated 4* but in my opinion this is no where near 4*. The beds are far too soft, not good for anyone with back problems. The towels were as rough as.......... a bit of conditioner would not go amiss. We have stayed in many 3* hotels, and paid half the price for them, which were much comfier.
Very comfortable, clean.Very good breakfast in morning and Bistro food OK .Staff very good.
The staff are so polite, welcoming and professional. Always provide a top service
The food looks fantastic but no taste. Where is the seasoning!
easy check in
ceiling falling down in first bathroom. were moved to an upgraded room where the mattress was soiled and covered up with a mattress cover. checked right back out again.
ROOMS GOOD SIZE COMPUTOR BATH AND SHOWER SWIMMING POOL
Had a great overnight stay for the new year Hogmanay ball, reception staff very helpful, lovely large room with sofa extremely comfortable. The meal, what can I say, superb all of our party had different courses and we all enjoyed them immensely, could possibly be the nicest meal we've had in a while.
Not a big deal but the toilet in the room was a little bit on the tired side, mainly to do with rusty metal accessories. And alcoholic drinks at the bar, very expensive.
Rooms are always immaculate and staff are always very helpful
Purposely booked here so we could have a swim and made sure of times that health suite closed. Turned up at 5pm to the closed signs but entered anyway and then was met by a character saying 'oh I'll be turning everything off in 25 minutes' Surely if the swimming pool etc is to close at 6 then 10 minutes before closing would be fine to turn everything off. Also the jacuzzi was stone cold and was told it heated up after being on 10 minutes but he also said its on for 10 minutes then off for 10 minutes. Doesn't make sense. Just over all disappointed with the leisure suite as there was many faults such as lights out, tiles broken. Stayed here quite a few times with family and always boasted about the place but not this time unfortunately.
The value for money is phenomenal. The staff are wonderful; the rooms are spacious, well furnished and modern; the bed is probably the most comfortable bed I've slept on; the breakfast is exquisite. I could not fault the Beardmore.
Restaurant closed with room only service which you then have to pay extra for.
The ease with which I could visit my husband in hospital. The room was clean and spacious. The reception staff were fairly efficient. Lovely pool .... if a bit too warm, staff were lovely.
As I was spending long hours at the hospital I was too late to dine at the restaurant or bar. I had to order room service for the first two nights the food was nearly cold when it arrived. I was so tired and hungry I did not complain until the 3rd day. Breakfast was also not great -... Burnt toast and mildly hot coffee. Dinner was delivered hot on 3rd night only after my complaint to reception.
Everything was exceptional . staff very helpful and polite . Breakfast in bed fabulous
We informed reception three times about the bath water not draining away. Still not fixed after three days. Having shower standing in water not good.
The hotel was lovely The room was very good Plenty of space
Cooked breakfast looked very good but it was cold when we got it back to our table as the plates were very cold. We said to the waiter that seemed to be in charge that they should have hot plates He said that they had 150 people coming after a funeral and they never warmed the plates. We also said to the lady at the reception and she said she would say to her manager. Were very disappointed. The waiter asked if we were there for another night we said no as we only had one night away And that was the end of the matter.
The restaurant food was excellent and good value for money
i experienced a member of staff who was very rude.
The whole package of access, car parking, hotel facilities, comfort and food you could not fault
Been a few times when visiting family and noticed this time the jaquizzi was freezing and its normally warm but pool was warm
An excellent check in, a well presented room and a good breakfast - plus friendly local staff
Good parking and surprisingly rural location and a relatively short walk to the railway station with direct links to the city centre and westwards . Excellent for business and especially if you are booked in for an appointment at the hospital . It is handy for road links for Loch Lomond , the Trossachs and Argyll .
This is a hotel adjoining an hospital and will have guests staying who are also patients . Do not be surprised to see patients in wheel chairs . Minor repairs needed to be carried out to my bathroom , such as fixing a leaking tap and grouting around the shower / bath needed refreshing - room 208 .
There's nothing not to like.
Just clear the drain pipes in both shower and sink. It look a long time to drain the water.
The bedrooms were a good size and the bed was very comfortable
Rooms were too warm, and no fridge in the room although our friends had one in their room
