What's not to like?

Returning home from Australia.

Had problems with tv. Bit too complocate for me

The best thing about the hotel was the people who worked there....all very friendly.

My husband and I arrived and wirhin 10min the fire alarm went off we wetre outside false alarm we had 2x single beds I felt the room was very dull in need of decoration large stain on the carpet we were booked in for 2xnights but only stayed one I was disapoinred as I had been recomended by a friend.

The service was excellent as was the food. We ate in the bar both nights and was very friendly. The room was lovely and the location was excellent for where we had to be. All over it was a great stay and would not hesitate to return.

The hotel is pleasing on the eye and gives the impression of comfort and service. This is re-inforced by the very positive and friendly attitude of all the staff,

My only disappointment based on previous visits was the condition of the room in that some of the furniture (draws) were in a state of disrepair and the carpet although clear was full of stains giving the impress of 'less than clean. The bathroom was as good as I had previously remembered and the public rooms were in good order too.

We have stayed here on a few occasions and have always found it to be a very welcoming hotel. The reception staff are extremely helpful, friendly and professional. It would always be my first choice if I am visiting the area. Another bonus is that the hospital is accessed via the hotel so help is on hand if you need it. For the fitness addicts there is also excellent gym facilities.

The only criticism I can make, and I did mention it to reception on leaving, is that the conference attendees spread themselves out in the main area leading to the breakfast room.They are extremely noisy and oblivious to other guests who want to pass through this area. I suggested that it would be a better idea to put them in an' out of the way' area in order not to inconvenience other guests who are staying in the hotel. I did find it irritating. Thankfully, it is not an every day occurrence.

Price for the quality is a must !! Apart from that the staff were superb .. well done the manager & hr , your getting it right . o and to the staff aBIG thankyou
