I was staying at this hotel for convenience as I had to attend a family funeral. I only returned to sleep but I have no complaints at all. It served it's purpose well. Creaking floors but not a problem as I was really tired when I got to bed.

It was good value for money and the staff were efficient and friendly. The Breakfast was excellent value and of a good standard. The rooms were cleaned and beds made up daily. The venue is situated next to Eccles Old Road and several buses go in to Manchester frequently. Another unexpected advantage is that it is opposite Salford Royal Hospital. The decor is a bit dated and the bathroom facilites are on the small side but you get what you pay for .

There were no unpleasant surprises. The hotel seems a bit old and worn-down. But everything was functioning and for the purpose of my visit it was ok.

The hotel was dirty and scruffy, definately in need of a revamp. The shower was filthy, the pillows were made up of a very very old well flattened pillow, which was then wrapped in a very old mattress protector. There was no decaf coffee either in the room or in the dining area. The tea bags provided in the room were loose and not packaged- no idea how long they had been there or who had handled them previously. The breakfast was limited choice, no fresh fruit or yoghurt, no sweetener, sauces had to be requested and were brought in from the kitchen. The breakfast time was very limited ie closed at 8.30 during the week.

The room is badly in need of a lick of paint and a good cleaning. There was that many cobwebs, I thought I was in a themed room (Indiana Jones & the temple of Doom).

Firstly, I appreciated the well mannered staff who dealt with all my issues promptly. The hotel had a traditional cosy feeling to it. The room was very clean and warm with a nice bathroom and hot shower. The full English breakfast was excellent. Only 15 minutes from the city centre and Trafford centre so located nicely in between both. I certainly will be returning here again when I visit Manchester.

Convenient location for Salford and surroundings. 1) Paper-thin walls. 2) Clientele. 3) Offhand attitude of staff. 4) TV didn't work. 5) Casual lounge environment incl piles of towels and bed linen at 6 in the evening. 6) Rough and ready decor, electrics and furnishings. 7) Generally run-down, faded, shabby building that, from its exterior architecture, must have seen better times.

Private, free car-park, very friendly and helpful staff and good bus and tram links into Manchester city-centre. Full English breakfast included in the price was decent. The previous guest's used shampoo/shower gel sachets were still in the shower, and the shower itself was a joke. Very small, and barely a dribble of water. The help-yourself items at breakfast only included cereals and fruit juice, no toast, yoghurt, etc.

clean sheets, clean towels, tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits, when many of the largter hotels are cutting back on such things this was nice to see, room includes breakfast whick was superb and cooked to order. I was in the area to visit a relative in hospital the location could not have been closer, small row of shops opposite was also a great addition Give then rooms a coat of looking at decor is dated but you cannot argeu for the price

The only thing I liked was leaving the hotel in the morning. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It is not a hotel it's maybe a guesthouse. I was booked for 5 nights but only stayed one. I am not a fussy person but I recommend you take this hotel off your booking list.

It's easy to find. Wow, how old is this place ?? Haven't seen wall paper like this in years. It's clean, but I think the doors are made of the same stuff that's on the wall.
