The only thing I liked was leaving the hotel in the morning. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It is not a hotel it's maybe a guesthouse. I was booked for 5 nights but only stayed one. I am not a fussy person but I recommend you take this hotel off your booking list.

Staff made every effort to keep us comfortable. They were helpful and nice. It is a bed and breakfast house and not a Motor in setting. Very nice and very quiet.

Nice family run hotel. Handy to have someone to greet and check you in up till midnight on the day. Good to have towel rails in toilet/shower area. Would have preferred if there was a price option for room only as breakfast menu was limited and they were not willing to accommodate our request, for e.g. brown bread instead of white. They did offer to toast the bread if we brought our own.

cooked breakfast was good i stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, the room was not very clean and a lot of the decor needs updating, the bathroom was really small and the sliding door didnt close. I think that this hotel was expensive for what it was as the location was a lot further from manchester than the hotel described.

It's easy to find. Wow, how old is this place ?? Haven't seen wall paper like this in years. It's clean, but I think the doors are made of the same stuff that's on the wall.

Clean hotel Friendly staff Big breakfast If you need a cheap hotel, within a budget this is the one for you. Remember you get what you pay for This is not a 5 star hotel but we just needed a room for a night and it filled our needs It's got ensuite bathroom and although bathroom and shower super small it served its purpose. Just be carefull if you are a bit chubby or big boned as the entrance to the shower can be a bit of a squeeze...

“We like its quiet location - can't believe how quiet it is, yet so near to a a busy main road and city centre. We could hear owls outside when we lay in bed at night! It's right on a bus route so no need to take our car into the city. It's in Rusholme, which is cosmopolitan and very interesting as a multi-cultural area, with different places to eat and shop. Luther King House is still a theological college for some of the week and we like its atmoshphere, it's very good theological library, and the chapel, as well as the friendly and helpful staff. It uses Fair Trade foods.” Katherine, Kirton-in-lindsey |
