Just across the road from Shanklin beach, the Pink Beach Guest House offers bed and breakfast on the Isle of Wight’s eastern coast.
Score from 88 reviews Superb
The room was exceptionally clean, as were towels and linen and there was plenty of storage. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great with a good choice and freshly prepared.
The only drawback was the en-suite which was small, needed a shelf to put wash bag on and had a bi-fold door- not easy to manouevre.
Friendly staff, clean room, lovely decking for sitting and enjoying the sun, excellent breakfast, comfortable beds, 10min.walk to seafront. Geat location for visiting all the Island has to offer either by bus or car.
Radio on during breakfast.
As stated above, everthing was great. Denise was such a pleasant lady and nothing was any trouble. (Sorry I didn't do fthe hedge). Food lovely & plenty of choice. The Guest House is a short walk from the station & 5 mins to shops/front. Recommended our family to visit on a cycling holiday.
Some folk are 'heavy footed' & it sounds downstairs.(wife's comment)
Clean and location Good value for money
Problems parking Bed uncomfortable
very close to beach and high street shops. excellent breakfast to start the day.
The owners Ian and Denise could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable and welcoming. Excellent cooked breakfast was a great start to our day. Location ideal 5 mins to beach, shops, and restaurants. Attention to detail was first rate, very family friendly, excellent room even had a selection of toys for the children in their room. Will definitely be returning, thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay thank you.
There was nothing to dislike ideal place to stay!
The owners were very nice and very helpful. The room clean and bright. We had a room on the ground floor and even with the window open at night the room was very hot.
Staff Very Friendly, Rooms clean and bathrooms clean and modern.
Noisy Neighbours, not Hotels fault just bad timing on my part, unfortunately needed to keep windows open due to the heat.
Ian & Denise could not do enough to make our stay pleasurable. We would definitely go back again
Very friendly welcome, excellent attentive service from Ian & Denise.
Wi-Fi reception very poor.
We were on holiday and spent 4 days there, Sandown has always been a favourite place for us. Great sandy beaches, and friendly people.
Nothing to dislike, the breakfast at the hotel we stayed in was a bit tasteless, but apart from that we were very happy.
Friendly staff, adequate parking and close to the beach..
No wifi in the rooms.
Quite close from Sandown train station and beach. Friendly owners who will lissen and try to help. Denise was quite nice to send us a text message to let us know a pair or earings was left in the room. Even offered to post it to our address but I could still run back to the B&B to fetch it without missing our train. Good quality breakfast and always willing to accept a few changes, especially for the girls.
No water pressure on the shower. Quite unpleasant to arrive from the beach and not be able to take a decent shower. Shower cubicle extremely small as well as bathroom size. Definitely not big enough for 4 people. P.s.: according to owner, Denise, they will change all showers and try to get this water pressure issue sorted. Didnt like not being able to use toilet after 09:30 hrs on check out day as plumbing company arrived and simply shut water off and we had to use mineral water to brush our teeth.
The owners were very accommodating and helpful! Also friendly and keen to make your stay a good one. My family thoroughly enjoyed the choices for breakfast and also the quantity.
Quiet, clean, spacious, fast organised breakfast.
Denise our host was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. She also cooked an excellent full English breakfast. So close to the beach and really comfortable in our twin room. Thanks
Fantastic full English freshly cooked with lots of options for longer stays. Good quality sausage and no fried bread. Marshall radio playing Jack gently over breakfast. Nice garden too. Really friendly folks.
Shower was OK but a bit small and difficult to get it cool enough.
Good size rooms, comfortable beds, bar area, good breakfast, warm welcome, relaxing atmosphere.
One small grumble - no shower pressure in the family room. I wouldn't particularly recommend Sandown to others but if someone was going I would definitely recommend Beaufort House.
Ian and Denise are very friendly and helpful. The garden is spacious, and room and other areas are very clean and tidy. Breakfast was really good and I loved the complimentary biscuits in our room. Attention to detail was very important.
Beaufort House is the lovely place where to stay. I had a feeling that I am at home ;) I felt very comfortable and very free. Room was very clean and nicely furnished in pleasant colors, breakfast we could choose was delicious, prepared by this nice lady owner ... Everything was excellent, indeed. <3
