Beaumont House  

We had a most leasurly stay at the beaumont, room was clean and comfortable,every thing catered for, loved the breakfast in bed..full english.. Delivered to your door beautifully presented. Also had breakfast in dining room lovely and well attended to. Friendly helpful staff relaxed atmosphere will definately want to stay here again, superb. And there was fresh milk for coffee not cartons of pretend milk!!!

Beaumont House was a beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean hotel. The staff were all very friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them. There was free coffee, latte and cappucino 24 hrs a day and free newspapers everyday. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and contained all free range products. This was a short break for our first wedding anniversary and the hotel provided us with a bowl of fresh fruit and a small box of luxury chocolates resting on two swans made out of towels (small touches that make such a difference!!)

I liked the cleanliness of the room, the customer service - nothing I asked for was too much - anything I asked for was done. The atmosphere was good, the staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The breakfast was delicious and the evening meal outstanding. I truly enjoyed my stay at the Beaumont Hotel and it was a wonderful experience.

They have wonderful service. Very friendly staff. The service is really good. My gf and I wanted to go out for dinner one night and it was raining. The restaurant was suppose to be closed that day because it was new year. But the staff was really kind and she cooked us something to eat. We really felt like home in the hotel. Very clean. Very comfortable. We love the hotel and will come back again for holidays. Excellent

From the moment we arrived to when we left, everything was just perfect.The owners couldnt do enough for you and they made sure you had all you needed. This was a suprise wkend away for my wife,for our first anniversary, and as I requested,we had a bottle of bubbly chilled in our room on arrival and our room was amazing. So many nice little touches in the room,and the cleanliness of the whole place is perfect. We loved every second of our stay and will defo be going back, many thanks to the owners for making our weekend special. See you again soon, Mr and Mrs Greener.

Ease of parking, staff very, very helpful. A good location with a nice walk into town. Quiet, very comfortable, good decor and lovely bathroom. Would have liked to stay longer to fully use facilities and explore area more. Good breakfasts. Very efficient, will use again.

We liked the friendly but professional approach from the staff, The lounge area was very elegantly furnished, but comfortable. The breakfast was served and presented very nicely, and the dining room was peaceful and quiet, no noisy guests. If we booked again we would ask for a larger bedroom. We would reccomend Beamont House to our friends.

Service, breakfast

I assumed the room would be much bigger (no size listed in room description, it was roughly 30sqm). Pretty much everything was extra (snacks/minibar), only water was complimentary and they did not even provide it on the second day of our stay. The lcd tv was old and working poorly (literally 10 minutes before we managed to turn it on). For 180£ per night, I expected more.

The bedroom was tiny and cold. The bed was too hard and uncomfortable.

the discription is a little misleading it discribes the accommodation as a hotel..... where it was infact a Boutique guest house...... and even in this review it asks about Hotel facilities ..... Hotel photos .......

Excellent staff, decoration of the room was very tasteful and a great bathroom. Breakfast was also lovely.

A big downside for us was the fact that we could hear word for word exactly what the people in the room next door to ours were saying. This meant that when they stayed up late talking, it kept us awake and woke us up several times after. This took the shine off our weekend break significantly, ask for another room if they want to put you in room 9!
