Breakfast was excellent
Room too hot and no way of making it cooler Difficult to find room and work out which car park for it
Smelly damp room. No ac ,lack of products in bathroom
food no phone signal Poor internet connection
The location and setting is perfect and beautiful
Attention by staff was extremely poor to "non conference or group guests"
Dated decor, over-priced establishment. No air-conditioning; ridiculously hot rooms and it was only a mild night! Just one pillow per person, uncomfortable at that. Housekeeping were unable to deliver extra pillows within 30 minutes, so we gave up waiting and went to bed (despite several calls to reception to speed it up)
The surrounding of the hotel is vey beautiful. Great garden.
The hotel - and restaurant - was full of people that belonged to groups having trainings or other business meetings, so we felt like outsiders. The service in the restaurant (buffet) was made for these groups and the staff had dificulties to cope with a single couple like us.
Pleasing manner of staff but let down by apparent poor training.
Lack of management direction with staffing situations. Poor experience at check in during busy period. Similar experience in restaurant. Poor allocation of rooms, guests requiring quiet adjacent to noisy members of a conference.
Attended for a conference and a weekend break. They catered for the conference very well, apart from the check in process which was a bit of a shambles with so many people arriving at the same time, they need to learn from this experience. Not sure what it was like for the organisers of the conference but as an attendee everything seemed to be very well organised and executed very well.
This hotel is HUGE, and I had my room in the South Block, which is miles away from the reception and all the hotels facilities. Very annoying to be so far away and it felt like walking round a maze a lot of the time. Also after a great party during the conference returning to my room at 1am and the key didn't work! its a very long walk to reception to rectify this. Make sure you ask for a room in the main building. Also the beds are VERY soft you sink into them. Not comfortable for me at all.
* The location: just off M25, easy striking distance of Windsor and surrounding area * Price was OK * Setting of Beaumont was great
* Tatty room - bedside cabinet repaired with sellotape, no key for patio doors so they were unlocked during my stay, cobwebs behind radiator, bathroom dirty, no heating controls so room was cold etc. * "Hot" food at breakfast tepid * No way was my room a 4 starer! * No additinal pillows or blankets in the room * No Wifi or Internet in The Room * Wedding and Conferences make the hotel very noisy
Didn't get shown to room when arrived. Long queues for breakfast
The room was ok, although the curtains were hanging off the wall, and the bed was very hard
I was here on a work conference. It was just about acceptable (not great) as a business traveller but I would certainly not stay here as a leisure traveller - there are far nicer places in Windsor! Its an enormous hotel geared towards the conference m market (although they didn't deliver a great service for us!!). We booked a private room for a dinner. The room was set up wrong (no tables!) and food was awful - dry, bland and overcooked. Everything seemed pretty disorganised and siple things weren't covered (e.g. water on the tables) bar staff were rude and slow. The room was a 10 minute walk away from the main hotel. The bed was uncomfortable, the bathroom tatty and old…. Overall I was far from impressed.
Staff seemed tired and disinterested. Problems raised were always treated with a negative answer.
A long walk to the hotel facilities. Not being able to open the windows fully as the room was quite hot. Door mats off of the car park into the hotel were ruched and easy to trip over.
The hotel was very children friendly and its location is ideal for those planning to go to Legoland and Windsor Castle
The rooms are noisy as people talk, run and make noise in the corridors. There is huge waiting at the reception.
location and setting were beautiful
food was very poor bedroom was very basic, old and very tired. staff are un experienced, poor service from staff. check in was outrageous never had to wait so long at check in, they were aware of conference arriving should get more staff to check in!
Conference facilities. Location.
Furniture in my single room. TV. Shower cubicle. Queue to check-in - I was there for a conference with 300+ delegates and finally managed to check in after my third time queuing. Would have been very annoyed if I was a normal hotel guest trying to check in! Food options were basic too.
Beds very comfortable
No safes in room. Very long walks to get to the hotel room. Reception and restaurant staff not great
Restaurant staff were very slow and the food was not of the standard I would expect from a hotel of this standard. Management seemed more concerned about swanning around looking important.
food small room room required renovation tiny and dated TV
I liked the fact that we were given a double room for my family to share on arrival. The service was very good and efficient
History,beautiful place.great staff
High Standard of fittings
Extremely long walk to the rooms Bar ran out of some drinks including cider Staff were arguing among themselves including management
The breakfast was the best part of my stay. Lots of food available and friendly staff.
Poorly decorated with damp patches around the window. We could only see one plug socket which was to high, so we could make a hot drink as the lead didn't allow the kettle to be steady. That made no sense.
Location, play park in grounds.
No air conditioning, small claustrophobic rooms with tiny windows. Quite basic for a 4 star, service poor and slow. Disappointed, we wouldn't stay here again. I did give the hotel feedback, but no one bothered to respond.
Location was very convenient...
Superior room, small and very disappointing, bed too soft, shower small almost unusable. We also booked a twin and single which were worthy of being one or two stars at best, horrible. But for the fact that we were at a wedding for most of the day we would have demanded our money back and gone elsewhere...
