Warm personal welcome, ample parking space per vehicle, breakfast was of a high quality. nice size of desk/dressing table, made evening paper work an easy task, did not have to stack paper work on floor, plenty of room on work surface.
Kettle in bedroom a bit on the small size, I enjoy cups of tea /coffee when working, don't enjoy having to continually fill kettle from tap, I would have preferred a 1.7 ltr, bath room was clean but a bit tight, but then again I am not the smallest person in the world,
The room was very comfortable all facilities were available and excellent in quality. The staff made me feel very welcome and I wanted to stay for a lot longer.
I arrived quite late but the staff were very welcoming and got me settled in very quickly. It's a very nice B&B and I was very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was very good with plenty of choice and I would definitely return.
Cleanliness, Friendliness, Location, Food
- friendlyness of staff - breakfast home made
- shower was not consistent - tv didn't work properly
Having breakfast in the conservatory. Information very informative re places to eat. Enjoyed our break there.
Very comfortable bed, quiet and spacious room. Excellent breakfast. Lovely attention to detail in everything, from napkin rings with cloth napkins to a well laid out tea and coffee tray in bed. I requested a quiet room and was given one, plus the additional dietary requests made in advance for breakfast. The wifi was very good. I would definately return.
Everything. Beautifully maintained, great breakfast, friendly and welcoming staff. Would definitely stay there again.
Rooms were very comfortable, breakfast had a good and varied choice . Staff were excellent and very helpful .. Would stay there again ..
Nice clean hotel, friendly staff and a good full English breakfast
We booked two rooms for a week and found our hosts very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts excellent and the rooms well appointed. The only downside for us was in the showers, which were electric and sometimes not reliable with temperature fluctuations and decreased water flow when there were a few people trying to use them at once. That's the quaint factor I guess :-)
Lovely welcome from the owner, his wife even ironed my outfit for the evening for me, how kind! Spotlessly clean. Really comfy bed. Fantastic breakfast.
Breakfast Helpful owner Parking
Creaky bathroom door Highly scented bed linen Unable to open window
For a one night stop at a reasonable price it was very suitable and easy to find. Our room was very clean and investment had obviously been made in the bathroom. We had mixed opinions regarding the breakfast, I thought it was great - black pudding a rare treat! Read on for the wife`s opinion. I think the owners take their enterprise very seriously and deserve to succeed.
Most of the areas we didn`t like could probably have been solved if we had said something but for one night we didn`t bother so it is as much our fault. Anyway for what it is worth: If road noise is likely to be a problem for you then do not take room No 2. Our bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were inadequate - I`m sure more would have been provided if we had asked. The shower was somewhat temperamental - changing from very hot to cold without warning but eventually I mastered the technique required. Being an older building there were uneven areas on the stairs and if you are 6ft+ then watch your head when descending. My wife prefers her food very well cooked - crispy bacon, no runny eggs etc so I did rather well. Again I suppose we should have registered a preference but why do professional chefs all think less is best? Crucially I would recommend the Beaumont but if any of the above might be an issue for you then ask first - if we had been staying longer we would have done.
Although I only stayed for 1 night I could not fault The Beaumont. Breakfast excellent, good choice, and room clean, comfy and on the ground floor which I like. Will stay again and ask for the same room.
Very welcoming hosts. Good breakfast, plenty of choice. Nice sitting room. Very comfortable room with en suite (Rose room).
Very helpful staff. Easy to locate. Good breakfast.
Room was a bit small.
Very welcoming and a superb breakfast and all at a reasonable price
The staff was friendly and welcoming. Was a pleasurable stay and would stay there again.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
Its a B+B ive stayed in quite a few times and am very happy on my latest visit. I certainly reccomend the beaumont. Warm welcome all the comforts of home, good food etc
The toilet looked sqashed between the shower and the wall!
Excellent facilities, private parking, superb breakfast & tremendous hosts...what more could you want?
it is very clean.
Awful welcoming. Brutal. Not kids friendly. We booked a twin bedroom and got a single bedroom. Parking is very small and hard to access. Very noisy road. Hard to get hot water in the shower.
Very friendly staff, quaint bedroom with all mod cons, spotless en-suite shower room. Lovely full English breakfast with Gluten Free toast! Served in bright airy conservatory. Sitting room available for guests.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, it was spotlessly clean, the breakfast was fantastic, so much choice and there was sky tv and wifi in all the rooms.
There was no evening meal available and it was quite a distance to get anything.
