Very clean and friendly, good access to town center and bus/rail connections No but the room could do with a ceiling fan as it stayed hot even when the weather cooled down |

visited family in Kendal and the Lake Windermetre walls very thin so hing snoring from next door and talking early morning and wash basin in bedroom none in ensuite loo and shower . |

I liked the fact that the Lounge was so comfortable and available at all times and that there was tea and coffee and biscuits in our room. The breakfast was more than adequate. I would like to see more towel rails in the shower room and perhaps a small shelf near the sink to accommodate personal belongings. |

staff was friendly and the breakfast was tasty and freshly prepared common areas and honour bar are very nice bed was extremely firm and was only a 60 inch queen not the king it was supposed to be shower water flow was nearly non existent |

walking, eating out, pub the bed had roll ( lower in the middle) the shower was hot and fantastic with the exception of the shower head which wouldnt stay still unless turned and wedged against the tiles. |

The presentation of the room as overhwhelming. Very pleasant and the Decor is fantastic. This hotel sets the benchmark for a guest house. We did not want to leave the hotel and we wanted to bring the room back with us. |
