Thoroughly marvellous in all respects. The rooms and beds were warm and comfortable, the shower magnificently powerful, the breakfasts large and delicious, the lounge comfortable and the staff friendly, likeable and welcoming. Highly recommended and exactly what I needed! No part of the experience was in any way negative.

We liked the hotel very much .the room was very clean and the facilities were perfect.Bed and pillows were very comfortable.. Food was excellent and staff were very helpful and friendly. it also was very peaceful and quiet at night .The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome

Quality accommodation, professional employees and a superb location. The relaxed atmosphere at the Beaumont Hotel helped to make our holiday such an enjoyable experience. The breakfast sits alongside the hotels accreditation, 5 star. Highly recommended.

Very attentive staff who were not over friendly or fussy but instead just very professional. We asked for a quiet room and for once, we got one. No noise whatsoever after 22.30 hr. Excellent food served in a beautiful bright airy dining room. Drinks available in the sitting room with an honesty box for payment. Complimentary bottle of wine because we went to celebrate a birthday. All in all, a very nice hotel.

Beaumont House is lovely, we booked a four poster room as a birthday treat, the room was immaculate and very well decorated, the staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice and excellent quality. My only niggle would be that our room was very cold, however when we informed the staff they were extremely apologetic and had we been staying an extra night I am certain they would have jumped through hoops to rectify the problem.

Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. Very good Staff Excellent Location Really good Breakfasts Nothing too much trouble Very nice place to stay, but most of all the Beaumont House is very very clean. Ten out of Ten.

My wife and I were visiting Windermere to attend the funeral of a family member. We had time for only one overnight stay and the service and ambience of Beaufort House exactly met our needs.

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Hotel was well appointed and centrally located in Windermere. The breakfast menu was comprehensive with an excellent choice of dishes to suit most tastes. The proprietors suggested that they were considering putting on afternoon teas as an optional extra and I would urge them to seriously consider this. We would certainly have enjoyed it had it been available. Parking in Windermere is often difficult so the hotel's own car park was a welcome bonus. We would certainly keep their details on file for future visits to the Lake District. The only thing I can think of was that the room was very hot, but this was easily remedied by turning the radiator off and opening a window.

Hospitality! The quality of service is exceptional! The accommodations are very nice. It's clean, well maintained, and upgrades are happening as well. Breakfast was great! I found that whatever you need they are happy to do. I stayed in a lovely room with an excellent bathroom. I had a great experience!

We were made to feel very welcome after a stessfull drive. Was greatly impressed with the overal apperance it felt home from home and the breakfast is a big must. Sorry it was only for one night but we will return. Have stayed at hotels around the globe but I have to admit that Beaumont House beats the lot and its only b@B. None of your fancy electric keys. You get a proper key!!! Very impresssed. Keep up the good work

very welcoming on arrival,close to all shops and restaurants, staff were well presented and rooms were cleaned daily. overall i thought this was a first class accomidation and would definatley go back anytime i am in windemere.

We loved the welcome we received on arrival from Warren who was so mannerly and respectful and helpful. We loved our bedroom which was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutley gorgeous and fresh, the pots of tea were superb. The house was nice and quiet and we slept well. All the facilities were good and the location was spot on - we would definitely return and recommend it to anybody travelling to Windermere. Thank you.

It was very peacefull and well psoitioned for the restaurants and the lake. The staff were lovely. The room was too small with no view and in my opinion the overall experience was good but definitely not five star.

The helpfulness &consideration of the owner and staff. The access to surrounding area very good. Breakfast extreemly enjoyable. Our room was small and cramped, but we understand it is to be altered during referbishment later in the year.
