The staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was lovely, and we were offered something to eat as we arrived late in the evening. Although we asked for a pleasant view and extra refreshments, this comes as standard anyway. There is a 'honesty bar' so other refreshments were available 24/7. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Beck Hotel, and we will certainly be returning there in the near future. We would have liked a bath, as well as a shower. There was a stale odour in the ensuite, but it wouldn't deter us from staying again.

Beck Hall is a lovely central location, staff were very friendly and helpful. The pakced lunch service is excellent. Rooms were clean and beds very comfortable which is just what you need after a long days walking in the country. Breakfasts were very good and filling, although they don' do evening meals there are 2 pubs very nearby that serve lovely food and welcome muddy boots!! I would recommend Malham & Beck Hall as a great place to get away from it all for a few days. The only critism I have shower head in our on-suite needed a good clean.

Breakfast was really nice, staff friendly & efficient, nice location. Was good value for money. Initially put in a twin room (Room 4) which smelt due to wet floor from a water leak but the owner was very good and transferred us to a family room, much nicer.

This is our second stay at Beck Hall and on both occasions we have found the stay very relaxing. Plenty of hard walking right out of the front door - no need to get into the car at all. Locally sourced bacon and sausages at breakfast - a wonderful start to the day. Staff very pleasant and keen to make you feel welcome. We will be back!

Located edge of Malham village by pretty beck. Large car park. Peaceful. Relaxed atmosphere. Perfect spot for walking to Malham Cove and Gordale Scar. Two pubs/hotels in village, both serving good real ales, One served superb food. Room very small and basic. Bathroom needs complete renovation. Breakfast only OK. Heard better reports of room/bathroom standard from other guests, so maybe we were just unlucky.
