Peaceful tranquility, pub nearby, pretty area
A bit on the tired side.
Beautiful setting ideal base for walking the dales
Wonderful location in a quiet well catered for village central to the Dales. Staff very friendly and always willing to assist.
Setting tranquil and beautiful, Location Ideal and staff very friendly and helpful. would recommend for a relaxing break.
There was no wardrobe in the room just a large rail which was out of keeping with the rest of the hotel. No shower gel or shampoo in shower.
The location - by a brook, quaint village, 2 pubs both doing excellent real ales and food, great walks from site yet only 25 mins from Horton - perfect for 3 peakers. Excellent customer service & friendly staff.
Returned for 6 th visit. I love this place. Louise the new owner is simply delightful and made us so welcome . Nothing was too much trouble ,she even gave the dog a treat in arrival and a bottle of Prosecca in our room for 25 years wedding anniversary! We will be back . Thankyou for a fabulous stay. The Woodham family.
Cosy, quaint, homely. No modern furnishings like you would find in a big chain. You can switch off completely!
We loved it all!
The perfect location, setting and ambience of the place. Breakfast was well prepared and there was a good choice. The staff were very friendly, always keen to help.
At times, there was a smell of dogs when entering our accommodation building, as the hotel is dog friendly......although our actual room was free of dog smells and very clean.
Nice house with lounge room for residents. 2 pubs within 1 min walking distance. Beautiful area, close to Malham cove. Nice room on river bank.
Wifi was very weak, almost non-existent at times. There was no O2 phone reception.
Staff friendly roim very clean
Comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
All of it.
Nothing to dislike
Car Park Location
The outside is scruffy. THe furniture needs jet washing
Very picturesque setting, friendly and accommodating hosts, clean and comfortable
A little bit of noise from other guests late one evening from the living room which was rather close to our room.
Location, staff friendliness.
We booked late , so had to accept a top-rate room, which we were prepared to do. However the room we were given did not reflect the price and was more like a cheaper room. When we mentioned this at the end of our stay, we were given a 10% discount, but still feel we paid more than we should have done.
Lovely quiet location. Good walks and handy pubs with good value food.
The bedroom was looking " tired" and the shower had an unpleasant smell of drains. However the new owners had only taken over the B&B 24 hours before our stay so I am sure they have great plans over the next few months.
Awarm friendly home from home.
It is a beautiful place to stay and the staff were very helpful. I travelled alone and was able to take my dog.
Lack of internet connection as my daughter lives in Otley but was able to have contact by guest house phone.
Loved the bedroom in annexe, very comfortable, light and very clean. Would definately stay again.
Shame that the cafe whilst we were staying there ,was closed for afternoon tea.
Very nice staff, very helpful and pleasant. Nice warm comfortable rooms. Lovely breakfast. Nice setting and not too far away for everything else
With my arthritis the stairs were not too helpful (my own fault, I should have asked for ground floor like last time.
The position by the stream is beautiful. The staff were friendly and attentive . Two pubs in the small village with at least a dozen real ales to check out ! Good food too.
Beautiful location and friendly welcome. Provided nice packed lunch.
Twin room very small for two but managed. Had to wait nearly an hour for cooked breakfast, but it was good when we got it.
Location Friendly staff The value for money Breakfast The lovely log fire Period features of the place and room. Like the honesty bar
Room didn't have a bath to soak aching muscles after a good days walk on the fells.
