The breakfast service was poor (but the managers have since apologised and explained). Could do with some utensils/plates etc. in the kitchen.
Could breakfast start at 0730hrs
Polite staff Great breakfast included Peacefulness
Finding breakfast restaurant
The location of the accommodation was great just a short walk into Canterbury and the surrounding area was stunning so i will be back in the future
The location; the labyrinth; the walk to and from; the room; the breakfast; the value for money: this was a lucky find. I would certainly return, with my wife next time.
The 'slidability' of the mattress; the height of bed off the floor (I have wee short legs); one silverfish on bathroom floor; the plug tower's lack of instructions;
Just about everything. Room and ensuite in pristine condition and clean.
Nowhere to hang towel while in shower.
With a very comfortable room, free wifi and parking plus a regular bus service to the City and the coast, Becket Court beats any of the budget hotels in the area by far. Yes, it was a bit of a walk for breakfast but one must remember this is a university campus not a purpose-built hotel.
It's not available all year round.
The facility was clean, comfortable with excellent en suite facilities and although the bed was a bit firm, having served in the RAF for close to 30 years, was better than many I have had. The price was very reasonable and I would definitely try to use your facility again. Thank you.
On initial arrival at U of K, found signage difficult To read from a moving vehicle, and directions inadequate to get to the correct location. The post code given was to the wrong facility, but the receptionist was able to give me the correct post code getting me to the right place.
Nice staff. Clean; comfy.
Really quiet;almost monastic. Wish there'd been a television. Bit of a trek to brekkie in another college.
Well designed and well serviced. Nice breakfast
Doors closed to heavily No lighting options
Good value, clean and tidy with good facilities and friendly security staff.
No signage telling you where to check in and no one answering the phone. Left wandering around car park and courtyards trying to find someone to get keys.
View of cathedral from bedroom.
Lack of signage. Difficult to find room.
Simple, clean, functional Great breakfast
Light came in under the curtains
All the facilities available on the University Campus. Good transport to and from Canterbury and other localities. The park and ride schemes were very useful.
I cannot find any fault at all with my stay at Becket Court.
I am working in Broadstairs and the nearest accommodation was in Canterbury, mainly due to the holiday period
Accommodation block very good and very clean with good facilities.
When first arriving difficult to find accommodation block. Have to collect and return room key from another location.
if you like and enjoy sadistically to have room where is a university campus and you are treated like an ignorant student by the the staff who does not care about your time and comfort and convenience, communicate in a courteous manner and for example when your door key does not work you can't find someone to help you in a large dark campus to open your door... if you do like not finding soap and shampoo toilet paper in a clean bathroom the second day you are staying....since house keeping did not service your room...and actually you do not find anyone to complain and discuss the matter ....or when you have to walk in the campus to find a student who would be so kind to help you with getting on the wife system since actually there is no one there to help you as staff...it is the right place for you...
It is what you expect from a university dorm. The room was clean, the breakfast was ok, the location was in the university of Kent (as expected).
Wifi was only available on one side of the room, and it wasn't very strong. Unfortunately this was the side that had the bathroom, the door and the wardrobe (the other side had a desk and a bad) making quite uncomfortable to use the internet. There was a connection for wired internet..but I did not have a laptop on me so I can not speak to this.
Accomodation is clean and tidy.
I complained immediately about the lack of Tv and asked that I cancel the rest of my stay. They had already taken the payment prior to my arrival so the desk staff were unable to do anything about it. I spoke to the head office on the phone who promised me a call back in the morning - this did not happen. I am working in Canterbury for a few months so obviously found different accommodation for the remaining time.
I liked the private shower, toilet, the bag of goodies.
The bed was rough, springbottom etc, so I slept on the blanket but I did sleep so :)
Such great value for money. The room was clean and had everything needed. A delightful stay.
It would be good to have some instruction of where you are needed to go to register on the day of check in. A simple e-mail prior to that date would suffice. The lift was also broken all week unfortunately and I was on the top floor having to lumber all my luggage back and forth. And also the the shower was very weak.
Simple room. Very clean. Good location.
difficult to find and to get keys. Was directed to the wrong place for breakfast. The campus is confusing
