Easy to find off M25.Excellent location. Comfortable room and the general ambience of the hotel was relaxing. Staff very helpful. Nice breakfast indeed, with excellent presentation Will recommend to others and return myself. We did not eat in the restaurant in the evening, but the menu seemed inviting enough.
cute village lovely breakfast nice surroundings friendly enough staff great location for harry potter studios nice pub down the road
dip in the bed (francis room) some lights not working in room wi fi not great expensive for what it is
W only stayed for one night but were very impressed by the hotel, very comfortable beds and food excellent.
Nothing to dislike
Privately owned hotel, which makes attention to detail important to the owner - would always stay here if price is right - food is of excellent quality Chooses staff wisely to ensure customers are happy
Must update their website with correct times of meals - Sunday lunch said up to 16:00 but they stopped serving at 14:00
pub, food , location
Made very welcome Good breakfast. convenient for the M25
Room was clean and tidy, but had atmosphere.
Everything - the service, the staff, the location - would want to go again and again. Oh and the food! Gorgeous! xx
Booked a twin room as I was with my Mother and we arrived to find a double bed instead. This was, however, quickly dealt with by the Manager who was perfect!
Welcome, staff, resturant and general location.
Staff, ambience, food, plumbing
Our particular room was very small, also bed, and sdlept badly. Bright light outside and only a heavyweight duvet, too hot, noisy from carpark in early morning. Would use again but NOT that room.
Most helpful and friendly staff, great location for walking, lovely room, superb bar meal, excellent wine, superb breakfast and wonderful coffee and cake.
ambiance, quiet, car space at no extra cost, free wifi, countryside surroundings, proximity of my destinations.
food at lunch & dinner was mediocre
Very comfortable, quiet, room, well appointed. Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
I found the draft lager disappointing. I tried two, the first (Peroni) was not in prime condition, and the second, (Kozel) which I had never previously encountered, was alright, but unexciting.
The staff and owner, who were so friendly and helpful in trying to make my stay with them, as pleasant as possible
nothing to dislike
The room was comfortable, the hotel ambience and meals were nice. Pleasant, quiet location away from main roads.
We were initially given keys for a room that was not cleaned and ready. Returning to reception, keys for another room were quickly provided but not an ideal first impression. When our room was made up the next day, the tea/coffee facilities were not replenished necessitating another trip to reception. Being in a separate block meant one had to dress for the outdoors en route to reception, breakfast, etc; inconvenient in the event of inclement weather.
Staff were very friendly and our room was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was also very good.
Excellent food, excellent staff
The whole of the staff and the manager was excellent I will be back!!

hotel was nice in a nice location, restaurant dinner and breakfast were both excelent, we enjoyed our stay and will stay again.
spa bath was not working room (14) was very hot (insufficient ventolation)
The staff were excellent Professional but very friendly and helpful It was very busy when we arrived late because of breakdown but a table was found and we were treated very well The food is excellent and the rooms are lovely and comfortable.
Nothing cannot find fault at all Very impressed .
Great location, great food. Bed and room so cozy. Just does everything so well. Was packed when I was there, but with jet lag I went to bed early and never heard any noise.
The room. The food. The staff.
Lovely big comfortable bed and reasonable room overall. The staff were kind and helpful and the location is beautiful if you're into typical green-belt stunning country side. The breakfast was well cooked: the fried eggs, bacon, tomato and mushrooms at least, didn't have anyting else. Helpful receptionist who gave us a map of the area.
The room was chilly when we first went in so i turned radiator on but it wasn't working and in fact seemed to leak some drops of water - a shame because the carpet was lovely and almost new. I looked in the wardrobe and saw an electic radiator which i proptly plugged in and kept on for the duration of our 21 hour stay. The extractor fan in the bathroom is a little annoying if you're sensitve to noise but does go off after the light has been off for a while. The shower was low pressure - it did the job but if you're used to higher pressure it's a bit of a surprise. The bedside cupboards were lovely but the marble tops were not fixed in place so do be careful not to push one off if you've had a few drinks as you may end up with a broken toe! Also, if you're above the kitchen and you hear this awful extractor fan noise, do phone reception to ask them to turn it off because they will, it's just that the chef must have forgotten to do it at the end of his shift! On entering the breakfast room, it was chilly and the radiators didn't work with no sign of alternative heating options. The music was a very odd mixture, some of which i loved but it did seem a bit much when clubbing music with words in a different language started playing and that, just a little loud for our liking. If the Bedford arms is going to play music in the breakfast room in other languages, it think it sould advertise that so that customers know in advance.
