Breakfast Location Size of room Staff
Swimming pool a little too cold
Staff very friendly Pool and sauna excellent
room decor a bit dingy A
staff helpful and friendly eager to please good location for my wants food great nothing a bother 2nd visit to hotel sure to be many more
room very warm although a fan was available in the room not much if anything to complain about although the heat did cause an uncomfortable nights sleep
Staying at the Bedford hotel was lovely. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast in the morning was very nice and you can help yourself to juice and cereal and have a hot breakfast as well. The location is good and is within walking distance to the shops, bars and restaurants(around 10 mins). The tram stop is just outside so If your not up for walking the tram is never too far away. The pool is lovely . However, it is quite cold and takes a few minutes to adjust to it. I would definitely stay at the Bedford hotel again as it is great value for money.
I loved my stay at the Bedford and there is only one critique. The pool and jacuzzi are quite cold . However, once you get use to it there isn't a problem.
David bar staff pool n sauna karaoke
The evening meal bad and very poor value
pool location breakfast good for value for money.
room in serious need of updating and the car parking a bit of a chore.
Staff are friendly and efficient, quiet, enabling u to relax, food good, service excellent.
Everything, it was the second time we'd stayed at the Bedford and it was just as amazing as the first, a very enjoyable stay.
i liked the dinning suite the bar and very fair prices
hated the toilet en suite very tight space
hotel is a very short walk to Blackpool town centre, you've free access to the swimming pool and sauna (sauna at a small cost). Our room had a fantastic sea view and was nice and clean, the breakfast was ok nothing special. I would defo be going back as stayed in a few hotels and B&B this has to be the best one for me ☺
The lift very small also the room seamed very cold at night (hopefully the colder weather arrived they put central heating on)
Low cost hotel offering comfortable and homely service in an ideal location. Good breakfast served in dining room by friendly staff
Not much but the hotel was very warm would probably be great in the winter too
the sauna, breakfast was fair, you only get what you pay for.
Room very small, bathroom very small carpet a bit dated, pool water freezing cold....the hotel is needing a paint job,it was very cheap so you only get what you pay for.
location - quiet but still near centre, convenient for trams Excellent service at breakfast, good choice Friendly staff
Bathroom required repainting
Good location, friendly staff, nice hotel, good breakfast and nice swimming pool what else do u want! Fix the door in the sauna and that will be cracking to didn't shut right over so let the heat out! Value you for money
It was a really good room with a sitting room and viewing area to see the sea and the light and it's as really good swimming pool ps I will go back to the Hotel
On a night it felt like the was more people in the room as you could hear everything that went on in the room next door because every time they got walk round it felt like somebody walking around in the same room.
the hotel was excellent. Nice lounge, dining area, evening entertainment and fabulous pool
the bedrooms could do with a makeover to make this hotel just perfect
A typical blackpool hotel slightly old fashioned and in need of a make over or could this be authentic Blackpool.pleasant, helpful staff, nice clean pool, sauna a good feature for the hotel.Away from the main resort but close enough to walk, tram or bus available outside the hotel if required, breakfast ok obliging if wanting extra, drinks reasonably priced and entertainment in the hotel ok.small lift to all floors.comfy bed with a good night's sleep, good literature in the hotel about area, good base for local attractions
i think this is probably trivial but could cause issues with guests for a family/party £3 for an hour in the sauna is ok but if its busy guests could wait for a time to use it, we paid for an hour but encouraged others to use it as it as we were in and out of the pool, one day we were told by other guests they had paid £3 so it was for their use even though they also were in the pool for most of the time and the sauna was not being used
close to centre, swimming pool, & parking
noise from room above at night & water coming through bathroom ceiling
Located conveniently close to the main attractions and right on the front, the Bedford hotel is a great base to explore Blackpool from. The Pool and Sauna added a nice relaxing place to be and were just about the right size. The Staff were as helpful as they could be. Breakfast was adequate. The bar and entertainment presented a nice option for something to do in the evening.
I really don't like having to hand over my car keys because hotel staff may need to move my car and I couldn't relax knowing people would be pushing past my car with bags etc... The Manager showed empathy and did everything he could. He even moved my car to a more secure place so I appreciated that, but I wouldn't book another hotel where this system is in operation. It's not very convenient having your keys held at reception either. It's also worth a mention that some of the other guests were a bit much... We left the bar because some other guests were taking the mick out of the act and we didn't like that. Act was ok so that was just rude.
we only stayed for one night, the staff where excalent, breakfast was fantastic, room was okay.
furniture in bedroom could do with updating.
Staff The Bar Entertainment Breakfast
The room was very dated and needed an upgrade - could have been cleaner
Breakfast excellent and prompt service.parking was fine.amazing old school lift.stayed longer for a good rate.
Flat stella lager.room very dusty behind beds and in need of a hoover.changing facilities in pool.
Good location & comfortable room with good bed, quick check in and friendly, able to park out the front of hotel, clean room. Food average. I would stay again but not eat there unless they have a buffet breakfast, & not the regimental format.
We have been going to Blackpool for many years & stayed in a number of B&Bs plus hotels, but the food is always the same. the usual, fruit juice, cereals, fried breakfast ie 1 small egg, 1 small rasher of bacon, 1 sausage, 15 baked beans & 1/2 tomato + toast. Buffet breakfast is an advantage I do not have cereal but would like more bacon & eggs instead, but because you know what is coming so fill up on what's on offer. We only had one evening meal I thought it was poor, packet mushroom soup, brazed steak over powered by sauce & onions, sherry trifle, mixed fruit& sponge like concrete, custard topping? bright yellow looking as though made from water not milk. I am trying to be constructive not critical, but for £10 a head the food should be better quality?
