Bedford Lodge Hotel, Leisure & Restaurant  

From arrival wonderfully courteous staff. The setting is idyllic and the hotel is about a 5 minute drive from the racecourse. Our room was backing onto the stables. Perfect silence through the night. We had a 3 course dinner on the Sunday and were both very impressed with the service and quality of the food. Breakfast was also delicious. We went to the pool/sauna/steam on the sunday after checking out at 11am, it wasnt very busy and could relax before leaving the hotel. I would certainly recommend this hotel for those looking for a bit of quality whilst staying in Newmarket.

Clean rooms and friendly staff.

The location was very good, the Reception staff were helpful and professional, the Retaurant was food was very good and well presented. The room was well mset out, clean and well serviced.

The Restaurant staff were enthusiastic but would gain from a lillte extra training.

We liked the room and the pool,the staff were great ,food was very good. Parking very good,we will come again.

I always stay at 5+ star hotels, but I think your hotel was better than some of the hotels I have previously stayed at. Most recent was The Meydan in Dubai, which I must say, is not up to your standards. I found at the Bedford Lodge Hotel, friendly Staff, nice clean rooms and superb service in all areas. Thank you.

The location and setting are excellent.

The hotel was lacking any atmosphere. Appears that there were only a very small number of guests staying on the date we were there. Everywhere was empty, bars, restaurant and even the car park!

Great rooms and bedding. Well appointed bar with good range of drinks including real ale. Choice of bar or restaurant food - good choice for a vegetarian. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We ate in your Restaurant and choose from your Set Menu. The courses were excellently cooked and beautifully presented. We regulalrly go to France - where it is easy to dine on beautifully presented fresh food at a reasonable price. Your excellent standard of cuisine is easily on a par with our French experiences. The breakfast we had was also of an exceptional high standard - from the beautifully prepared fresh fruits - to the superb cooked English breakfast! We have found that many Hotels badly let themselves down with breakfast. We found all of your staff very polite,cheerful and responsive. Despite the refurbishments taking place - we greatly enjoyed our stay at the Bedford Lodge Hotel and will certainly aim to visit you in the future. Thank you
