The location is second to none shopping centre nearby and train station is a few minutes away. Being beside the river is an added bonus seeing the swans etc wonderful location. The park inn is a little bit pricey per night and it would be nice to see a few more offers. On a personal note we come to bedford to visit my daughter husband and 2 young grandsons and they live in harrold so with hotel bills, taxis, and train fares it can be very expensive 3 or 4 times a year so maybe an offer now and then would be nice.

It was close to th river which is where we needed to be. The staffs attitude was appaling, very unhelpful!! The '24 hour bar' never had a member of staff there and when we asked at reception the first time we had to wait 15 mins for someone to come and we asked for the lights to be put on it was like the world had ended!, the next day we had a celebration and we wanted a bottle of champagne, we had to wait another 20 mins for someone and then there was no champagne, no prosecco all out of stock and very limited wine due to this reason. We asked for a late check out which was honoured but as a young couple we had been put on a joining room next to a young family so was woken up at 7 with children screaming and then at 10 am the cleaners walked in our room while we were asleep, this is appaling as not only did we have a late check out but normal check out isnt till 12!!! On check out we asked about the complaint procedure and asked for head office's number, they would not give it too us! and the receptionist tried giving back the room key instead of my boyfriends credit card! it took about 10 mins of tellling him what he did until he realised! I think the service is awful and i will never stay or recommend it too anyone!

We found the hotel excellent in every way,all the staff, particularly the reception staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was large and comfortable with an effecient air conditioning system which was needed in what was a very warm weekend. The breakfast was first class as was the restaurant in which it was served. With a superb overview of the River Ooze and the various boating and wildlife activity therein being inacted as we ate and watched. All together delightful. We would recommend the Park Inn by Radisson to anyone having a break in Bedford. If this is the standard of Park Inn,s we would endevour to use them if they were available in any town we may be having a break. Lastly the only thing we regretted on our stay is we had not had the forsight to book a bedroom overlooking the river, this of course on hindsight would have been the "cream" on top of an excellent cake. There was a gym facility was free. Excellent selection at breakfast. Free on site parking. The room was very draughty, with a fair bit of traffic noise due to the single glazed windows. If you want the heating on at night, its noisy and constantly blows air directly at the bed. Bad smell from the shower drain in the bathroom.

We could walk into the town .. We were the only ones in the restaurant that evening it was no atmosphere and cold ... we ordered a bottle of wine .. Cava ... the waiter bought the wine and did not make any attempt to open the bottle ... my husband opened the bottle I ordered fish and chips the fish had dark brown breadcrumbs on and tasted dry the chips were only just cooked so tasted very hard ... we wouldnt eat there again .... but the hotel room was ok just... Very noisy we were awake most of the night as the disco music was banging through the floor of our room

Its a nice modern hotel. The location is excellent. The rooms are very good. Open wardrobes. I stay at the same hotel in Nice a week ago and thought it was limited to standard room. Here I had the business room and still open wardrobes! We (four people) had ordered dinner and it was extremely slow to come.

I like having a room with a view of the river. The restaurant was delightful also with a lovely view of the river. The breakfast was good with a wide selection. The service provided by reception staff and room service was excellent. The only issue I have is that the room was cold.

A good room with an excellent view (306). Convenient for the town centre and walks along the river. Room was not cleaned very well - had to ask for spare toilet roll and water on 2 occassions. Tv always on in the bar making it difficult to have a private conversation. Reception seemed confused about our booking on arrival, and overcharged us on departure. This was corrected when queried.

The staff (when around) were very polite, and helpful. There were insufficient parking spaces, which is annoying after a 3 hour drive, and foods service at the evening meal was very poor. One of our group still has not had his dessert.

As I cannot use this space for complaints then all I can say is that whilst the staff were as a rule polite and friendly, our room was clean and situated in a quiet part of the hotel. The rather complicated entrance to reception from the car park, with only one door that opened making entrance with luggage difficult. That not all lifts went above the 2nd floor with no access to stairs leading upwards from the second floor, I had to retrace my steps to the ground floor and get another lift that went to the 3rd floor and above.

The location is central and when there was an issue with noise from a neighbouring room we were upgraded immediately. The windows in the room were very old and broken which meant it was probably a bit noisier from the road trafficwe than it needed to be.

Our room on the 6th floor was spacious and had the most marvellous view overlooking the river Ouse. The staff were very friendly and the car aprk was good. The room facilities and house keeping, what a disappointment! We had paid for an upgraded (business)room. It was supposed to have amongst other things; bathrobes and upgraded toileteries. It had; no bathrobes, minimal toileteries = 1 soap, I shampoo, 1 body lotion, which were used on the first night and never replenished, One wonders what one gets for the non upgraded? I drinking glass was chipped and the air conditioning kept resetting to 25c whatever we did. The room was cleaned well but who checks the facilities?

Convenient and nice location (in town and by the river) and appropriate for my purpose (business trip). Clean and modern rooms with good facilities; comfortable bed, flat screen TV and nice powerful shower. It was a little over priced for the facilities available and the modest accommodation. I did not like having to pay extra for most things, such as breakfast, Wi-Fi and room service, although these costs were clearly advertised you do not expect to have to pay for Wi-Fi in a hotel these days! Also, the spa facility (sauna/steam room) was not working - contrary to what it said on both Radisson Hotel and Booking.com websites.

Impressed with the polite and speedy way reception dealt with my request for a change of room. Excellent. I did not like the fact that all the hot breakfast items had been removed by 9.15 before I had finished my cereal! Along with other guests had to request my hot breakfast. Hardly buffet!
