The Park Inn was, as expected, a well equiped, reasonably priced mid budjet hotel, it lacks a little character and the rear corridor areas could do with a little upgrade, but all in all; "it does what it says on the tin" Oh and the breakfast was to say the least comprehensive, so much to choose from, well worth the tenner extra! I would have liked an extra pillow, and found the fan heating system dried out the air a little for me, but then I don't like a hot bedroom and always have a window open at home, you can't please everyone.

I liked the fact that it was a beautiful area, with the hotel right on the riverside. The room was quiet (as requested). Breakfast was good. Would recommend. Second pillow on bed.

I was attending a conference in Luton and I, and two colleagues, realised we were a long way from our conference location at the uni of Bedford in Luton. This was our fault but the staff were understanding and helped us secure alternative accommodation in Luton, which was beyond the call of duty. It was also a pity asa it was a nice hotel with wonderful views over then river.

Park inn by Radisson Bedford is an excellent hotel. It was cheap and included breakfast. Was great value and i would of thought it should of been more expensive for what we got. The rooms are clean, very very spacious, lovely views of the river, flat screen tv and bathroom had a fabulous rainfall shower. Was very happy with my overall stay and the staff were brillant so attentive and friendly. The location couldnt be better, its not even 2 minute walk to the main street for bars, nightclubs, restaurants and shopping (topshop, newlook, primark etc etc). would definetly recommened this, brillant value for money and rooms are of a very high standard. very happy guest and the other 6 people i was stayin with would be of the same opinion. Th only thing I could say was that when i booked my hotel room with booking.com it included full english breakfast. However when checking in this did not come up on my reservation and I had to open up my hotmail. Once resloved though the staff were apologitiec.

The location is beautiful... Right by the water, with swans swimming along. The service for food was slow. To be fair there was a function on at the same time but I did feel overlooked.

Near to the city centre. No free wifi. Cost 10 pounds for 24 hours. Ridiculous. If you are spending more than 4 days, a-pay-as-you-go internet package will work out to be even cheaper.

A convenient position for walking into the town. Lovely view of the river from the breakfast/dining room. The staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean and the linens in good condition. The hotel public areas are very tired and in need of a makeover as is the exterior. Rooms are very basic - ours had only one upright (plastic) chair to sit on, and no wardrobe - just hooks and hangers attached to the wall. There are extra charges - for car parking - for internet use. Definately a budget hotel!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and tidy Although my booking indicated I had reserved a King Size double bedroom, the bed could only be descibed as a large single. I attended Insurance Institute of Bedford and Milton Keynes annual dinner and placed a wine order for my part (22 strong) well in advance of the dinner. However, the wine was not on our table when we sat down and I then had to ask twice for the order to sorted out.

I liked the choice of different types of rooms and prices. Hotel was clean and tidy with friendly, welcoming staff. Room was warm with more than adequate facilities. Good location for town centre and overall, excellent value for money.

We could walk into the town .. We were the only ones in the restaurant that evening it was no atmosphere and cold ... we ordered a bottle of wine .. Cava ... the waiter bought the wine and did not make any attempt to open the bottle ... my husband opened the bottle I ordered fish and chips the fish had dark brown breadcrumbs on and tasted dry the chips were only just cooked so tasted very hard ... we wouldnt eat there again .... but the hotel room was ok just... Very noisy we were awake most of the night as the disco music was banging through the floor of our room

The location is second to none shopping centre nearby and train station is a few minutes away. Being beside the river is an added bonus seeing the swans etc wonderful location. The park inn is a little bit pricey per night and it would be nice to see a few more offers. On a personal note we come to bedford to visit my daughter husband and 2 young grandsons and they live in harrold so with hotel bills, taxis, and train fares it can be very expensive 3 or 4 times a year so maybe an offer now and then would be nice.

Its a nice modern hotel. The location is excellent. The rooms are very good. Open wardrobes. I stay at the same hotel in Nice a week ago and thought it was limited to standard room. Here I had the business room and still open wardrobes! We (four people) had ordered dinner and it was extremely slow to come.

I like having a room with a view of the river. The restaurant was delightful also with a lovely view of the river. The breakfast was good with a wide selection. The service provided by reception staff and room service was excellent. The only issue I have is that the room was cold.

A good room with an excellent view (306). Convenient for the town centre and walks along the river. Room was not cleaned very well - had to ask for spare toilet roll and water on 2 occassions. Tv always on in the bar making it difficult to have a private conversation. Reception seemed confused about our booking on arrival, and overcharged us on departure. This was corrected when queried.
