Everything. The owners could not have been more welcoming and explained what we needed to know for a comfortable stay. They truly are pet friendly. Our 4 small dogs were welcomed with a goody box with bowls, treats, towels etc even poo bags! The room was spacious and comfortably furnished. There were 2 glasses of sherry awaiting our arrival. The breakfast was lovely with many options to choose from. I would like to stay there again.

Were given a warm welcome, a glass of sherry on arrival. Breakfast times were very flexible, and could be eaten in room. Room was spacious and very comfortable TV/DVD player and hundreds of DVDs to choose from. No time restrictions on coming and going. We would go again. There was nothing to dislike.

This was our fourth stay at Beech Hill House and we find it a most comfortable and clean B&B. The facilities in the rooms are great and we can take our dog as well. Well recommended. Cannot fault it at all.

We stayed here the first night of our trip and loved it. the owners were very gracious hosts and we were greeted with a glass of sherry in our room. Right down the street is the most amazing food at the Derby Arms. We actually came back to eat here on our last night in England. Breakfast was amazing at the Beech Hill...best fried toast we have ever had. Great place to stop off if you have a dog traveling with you, as they welcome dogs. Loved being greeted by Jenny and Stuart's greyhounds.

I cannot think of anything of a detrimental nature that I can say.The host was welcoming, the little touches in the bedroom ie the glass of sherry, the treats for the dog .Even a sewing kit was in the room. The breakfast was excellent and freshly prepared.Although the bed and breakfast is dog friendly, you would not notice from the cleanliness of the premises that dogs had been in the rooms.Would book there again without hesitation

The double room we had was excellent, we had ample room, lovely decor and well equiped shower room. There was a lovely wellcome back, with excellent facilities of TV, DVD's or CD's if you wanted to stay in at the night time. Even a torch was provided in case you wanted to go out after dark and for your return back to the B & B The B & B is not actually in Grange over Sands and is just off the A road turn off, and not relly what we were expecting, however, we did still enjoy the evening Whilst it was in a small village, the only facility was a wellcoming little pub, the Derby Arms, which had three young ladies singing with the backing of a young man on guitar. The pub provided meals and local ales. A group of regulars in the pub, moved up to allow us to sit down and even went to locate a stool for me

Very friendly and welcoming owners. Extremely dog-friendly. Very convenient that we could get our dog out from the upstairs room without going down the stairs through the house. We particularly liked the touches like a glass of sherry each on arrival and a selection of treats for our dog. The real drawback is the traffic noise. Although the address is Witherslack, it's not in the village; it's only a few yards from a very busy dual-carriageway. So we couldn't sit out. If people aren't bothered by traffic noise, its' fine, but it will stop us going again. Also, it's very expensive - a total of £94 per night for ourselves and our dog is a lot - for that we would want a quiet location. Because of the noise, we don't feel we can recommend it.

Very comfortable beds - the best I've had at any B&B. I really slept well! Spacious and well equipped rooms Lots of Books and DVD's for rainy days Friendly service and good food Pretty nearby village with great pub (good beer and meals) It is close to the main road and there is traffic noise - if you are sensitive to that then take some headphones or earplugs. If you keep the windows shut its less of a problem but I like to have some ventilation. The noise dies away at night and didn't stop me sleeping but did wake me in the mornings.
