Cleanliness, comfort & friendliness. They even treated us to drinks in the local pub!!!! Beautifully appointed accommodation, very tasteful. Sherry on arrival--Wow!
Everything. From the welcome sherry to the king size bed, the huge bathroom and the walk-in wardrobe. From the staff to the breakfast. It was comfortable and enjoyable all-round.
Nothing that either if us can think of.
Very friendly and helpful people. Great location. Very good breakfast. Recommended.
Right off the A590 very easy to get to, a good base for day trips in the lakes. Bed was amazingly comfortable Glass of sherry for us on arrival in the room All the little helpful touches like a torch and sewing kit in the room really show how well the owners think through the potential needs of their guests. The breakfast was outstanding
lovely friendly welcome, room spotless plenty of tea coffee etc, plenty of toiletries in bathroom. breakfast was excellent all freshly cooked & served in the lovely conservatory. bonus was the pub the derby arms was 2 mins down the road, we ate there on both nights and had lovely meals on both nights. staff were very welcoming even bringing treets over for our dog.met a lovely couple from altrincham who also had their dog with them. jenny & stuart couldn,t have made us any more welcome.
The extra touches in the bathroom small things make a difference the cherry also
The greyhounds, the facilities, the attention to detail, the breakfast, all in all exellent.
Really great hosts. We arrived late but they were welcoming and really friendly. Great breakfast and atmosphere. Definitely recommend if you're in the Grange area!
Would have liked a larger full English breakfast :)
Excellent host; good location; amazing breakfast; lovely night's sleep.
We stayed here because they except dogs on our way up to Scotland and they were excellent. Will definately stay here again if in the area
Excellent and thoughtful provision for my dog. Comfy bed, clean bathroom, nice touches with sherry and choc on arrival and fresh milk. Nice choice for breakfast. Friendly service
Its a bit too doggy if you are not reallly into dogs.
Probably just about everything. Welcoming and helpful hosts. All facilities need are there. Perfect poached egg!
Quality of sleep not their fault - just me being in a strange bed.

The room was good. / ,books , freesat tv, dvd`s , and a glass of sherry when we arrived . good choice at breakfast. Nice Pub 2 min. walk up the road, Excellent food.
we could hear the traffic on the main road from our bedroom .
Excellent B and B.Dog friendly. Lovely welcoming hosts.
Fab B&B. Very dog friendly. Very comfy bed and facilities. Loved the sherry & choccies on arrival. Breakfast was excellent. Pub 1 min walk with really good food. Very friendly and comfortable stay. Overall = highly recommended
Two little probs we encountered were that we were unable to get the Wi-Fi. I think it is probably because my network O2 is unavailable in that area. Also, however hard we tried, we were unable to work out how to work the telly and DVD player. It didn't bother us too much as it was only for one night, but maybe some instructions would be useful!! (Or maybe we were just a bit thick!)
We booked very late in the day but were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent and well presented. The owner rescue greyhounds and accept dogs but there was no evidence of doggie smells which is more than I can say for my old dog. Very pleasant surroundings and we would certainly visit again if we are in the area.
very peaceful nothing too much trouble for the owner, great food at pub 2mins away lovely breakfast
Noise from nearby main road.
Very dog friendly, very friendly, very helpful, great staff
