Beautiful house, friendly owners, great location, the views from the room (Penthouse), cleanliness was exceptional, quality breakfast, the room had everything that we needed and more, overall fantastic place for a relaxing weekend and well worth a 5 star rating and highly recommended
There was nothing that we disliked about Beech House
I loved every minute of my stay. Staff very helpful and friend. They allowed me to check in early which I greatly appreciated as my flight was early. They were very helpful in correspondence before I flew over in relation to booking hairdresser etc. Beech house has been the best B&B experience I've ever had. Will definitely be back again
Nothing-it was all amazing and very high standard.
Luxurious room and warm welcome. We had a good recommendation for dinner out. Would definitely stay again for longer next time to explore this beautiful part of the country.
Nothing not to like.
Great penthouse room Comfortable bed and with a great view
Seating a bit limited
The room was wonderful, staff great, view lovely and breakfast couldn't have been better.
the luxury bed and excellent breakfast and the friendly host/hostess
a wonderful experience so no comment here
We arrived and was greeted at the door with a warm and friendly smile by ine of the owners and shown to our room which was delightfull. The owners could not do enough for us and the breakfast was served around a lovely table where we met other travellers and had a wonderfulm breakfast . It is just perfect to have such a nice place to stay and have such friendly service .We look forward to returning to the Beech House Louise and Max Kramer
Great B&B. Nicely appointed, comfortable, delicious breakfast. Can't do any better.
We were staying for our honeymoon so I requested some little tea lights for the room, they went out there way and bought some lovely heart shape dishes and some tea lights as requested!!A lovely touch I thought xx
Ample varied breakfast, extremely comfortable sleeping in room 4.
The bathroom had modern facilities but was a little small for a double room.
Penthouse room was excellent food and drink was excellent Top marks for this b&b we would stay here next time we are in kendal
Stylish; extra touches e.g little decanter of port; hearty breakfast; friendly & attentive hosts. Loved it!
Walk uphill from town!
Extremely comfortable room. We had a deluxe room at the front of the house. Comfy chair in room Lovely and clean Nice view over a green area with trees/grass. Port in the room Quality toiletries Good breakfast Owners couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble
Was quite a steep climb from the town Wi-fi access was hit and miss
The plug socket arrangement.
To many cushions in small room. Shower too small.
Everything was excellent, hospitality second to non,Room 5 was very comfortable Breakfast was the best I've had in a long time , We would be happy to recommend this to anyone.
Getting a parking ticket for being over just over the line! despite having a permit on the car. So be aware when you stay. but don't let this put you off staying
Quality, decor, attention to detail

the uphill walk from the train station to Beech House
Our free upgraded room
Thought a hotel but it is a bed and breakfast.
Location perfect. Lovely bb. Beautifully decorated room. Had everything we needed. Hostess very friendly and wecoming.
Big breakfast table!
We arrived on a Harley Davidson very wet. Our host took all our wet gear away and dried it for us. This was very useful to us. The hosts were charming and accommodating. Would recommend it to our friends.
The magazines in the room were a bit dated
Location - quiet but near a pub Room decor - very elegant Breakfast - superb choice Owners - very hospitibale and good hosts Attention to detail amazing - even down to a tea towel to clean out cups in the room for a change of drink!
Liked it all. Could fault nothing
What a lovely place & so relaxing. With a comfy bed & easy chairs the room was lovely. Breakfast was excellent and the owners really nice. All very clean as well. Only 5 minutes walk downhill to the main street, it was handy for both the bus station and a bit further to the rail station. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
possibly the hill climb from the main street but fine if you're able bodied!
Decor fabulous, choice of room drinks amazing, atmosphere brilliant, hostess and host very friendly and helpful, food excellent.
More expensive than good hotels we were in in Liverpool and Newcastle. A 4 star hotel in Newcastle was the same price as a standard double in beech house.
Lovely rooms, friendly welcome, relaxed and everything you could wish for.
Faultless superb hotel.
