The breakfast was awesome!! The house holder was nice and friendly!

The bathroom is too small. The temperature of shower water was not stable.

It's the best place I have stayed ever. Very kind and thoughtful staff. We brought our 1.5 years old for a leisure weekend. When we arrived the room, toys and a trolley have been prepared for her. The breakfast was wonderful. My wife and my daughter were really happy during the stay. Best place ever!

The only thing, if I had to be picky, would be that the walls were so thin we can hear the guy next door snoring all night! But he did start singing 'I'm just a love machine' in the morning which provided us with a lot of entertainment!

Run by a lovely, friendly couple. Very relaxed. Central Windermere. Comfy and cute. Very English.

Only bad point, probably, was the shower, otherwise all good.

Family style

The location is satisfied, it only took you 5 mins from railway station to the hotel. The decoration is traditional British style and gives you a home-feeling. The most highlights of this accormodation is the owner of this house ,Mrs Maureen, who is very friendly and nice. And the breakfest , the traditional and delicious British food is also impressive. We love it, and definitely will be our first choice the next time we travel to lake district.

Breakfast

The rooms where small as was the ensuite facilities, the property is out dated. Shabby and in need of a complete renovation. The price charged does not reflect the comfort & cramped conditions. The toilet had not been cleaned there where hairs in the shower from the previous occupiant. The television changed from freeview to dvd on its own. There where to many signs and instructions in the room some of which where insulting to anyones intelligence. To finalise the place needs looking at for your company to advertise it. A poor poor choice on our behalf.

The owner was so friendly, me and my brother liked it as the way it was!!!! Clean, friendly, and the breakfast was perfect. The room we stayed in is also perfect for a family, there were toys for the children, it was really amazing. =)

The owners of the B&B are very very nice!! The breakfast is very delicious and you can select your favorite food. The room is very comfortable as the design is so nice.

The room was a little small.

the host there is very nice! They waited for me until very late when my train to Windermere was delayed due to the bad weather. And the whole house is dedicated in details and very beautiful. So is the room which makes you feel you are in a small garden. The breakfast is extremely delicious and you can have a lot of choices!

Maureen and Lewis were superb hosts. Super breakfasts.
