On phoning the hotel I was given both codes by a very helpful gentleman.
Wasn't sent a code for the entrance or my room.
it was clean, the location was good for the purpose for which I came and that was to attend a course at the LACE conference centre
there was no proper duvet the room was cold- I was sent an email with the wrong code for the front door.-
I was unable to stay as I didn't recieve the email with the guest house codes as it is an unmanned hotel. After having paid in full and not receiving the codes I have asked for a refund but have since had no reply from ullet suites! What a disgusting service!!!
beds clean and comfy and as room at back of house no road noise.W ere able to check in early and could come and go as we wished.
tv didn't work and had to unplug fridge to find this out. lack of sockets meant boiling kettle on bedside table. at £100 a night it didn't compare well wih hotel which was cheaper and included breakfast. bit student bedsit really.
The exterior looks run down and dirty From the outside the net curtains look dirty The house next door is so much smarter
Family rooms were very spacious. Would recommend any family or group of friends to stay here.
They changed the bed sheet and attempted to make it liveable but cleaning the bathroom. That is all.
No reception! a Laminate poster to ring a reception that give u codes for the entrance and your room, no key! Felt like I was in a hostel! We even left the luggage in the car to check it out first as it looked awful from outside. Once in the room looked clean enough and I was greatful it had a ensuite bathroom, if it was a shared one I would have slept in the car! Decided to stick it out as it did look clean. But the longer we stayed the more I realised we wasn't the only ones in the room! All Different colour and massive sized ladybirds! I found 4 in total stuck around in different places. God know how many I would have found If I went searching! Then to make matters worse the toilet didnt flush. Couldn't be bothered ringing the number for the 'so called reception' which was clearly was not on site so had to use the kettle water down the loo to make it go. £80 I paid and I believe this place shouldn't be a hotel but somewhere for the homeless or at least charge £20! And that's just for washing the sheets and cleaning the bathroom! Horrid! Never again! Learnt my lesson pictures can be decieving!!
Everything. Clean beds towels rooms etc couldn't fault it.
When arrived the outside area looked a bit run down NOT the hotel just the area. Only parking for a couple of cars in the hotel.
clean room's free tea coffee water / clean bedding/ comfortable beds/kitchen facilities the security of this place needs to be strong as read my review on what our experience was like
looks shabby from outside inside isn't to bad dirty rugs on the floor (trippin hazard)not enough electrical sockets, i could go on n on but its not worth the time to write , but what i will say is the security in this place is terrible we stayed here in room 2 and room 8 a party of 6 of us . 3 in each room . we booked in for sat 11th oct for 1 night and im so pleased it was 1 night only . the guests i had in room 2 were woken by a asian/ithiopian guy who gained entry into this room at 5 45 am on the sunday morning , my friend who was sleeping in the double bed was terrified once she realized there was a man standing in the door way who asked her 'is evrything ok' her reply was yer then been half asleep she realised n shouted at him to get out my room then another 2 guys appeared by then the girls in the room were petrified and didnt have a contact number to ring for security , these 6/8 men were hanging about in the lobby smoking n shouting then went outside n started pressing number 2 intercom so the telephone in room 2 just kept ringing n ringing . by 8am these girls rang us as we were in room 8 and told me to ring the hotel or police they told me what had happened and i was terrified for there safety because these ppl should not of been able to gain entry into a room they didnt have a code for , we are puzzled into how these come across the security code for our room this is now in the hands of the police as these girls could of been harmed. i hope this hotel checks there CCTV if any and find these culprits .these girls could of been hurt because of these men this shud not of happened . or there items bags stolen . i am awaiting a reply from this hotel ive not even had an appology so ive reported to booking.com for it to be investigated and i want to log a complaint i will never ever recommend this place to any1 who plan's on staying here so pleased be very very cautious when booking this hotel.
The rooms were clean and tidy
The location was far from town The fact it was unmanned was wrong The toilet didnt work the fridge kept me awake the road noise was bad the bed was the most disterbing ever the shower was too small the lighting to get into rooms was non existant so trying to enter your room code was impossible
We were having a college reunion in Lark Lake, so the location and facilities were good I would definitely stay there again , but I think the rooms are only really worth around £50 a night for two people
The price £100 for an OK room was not cheap The houses either side of the hotel are a dump
Very cosy, clean and comfortable room. They provide all the bedding and toiletries you need. Of course, you can use a kettle provided if you want to prepare some cups of tea or coffee, and some bottles of water were also given to us for free. There is also a shared kitchen that you can use whenever you like. Opposite the hotel there is a bus stop, there you can hop on a bus that takes you to the city centre in 10 minutes or to the airport in 30 minutes.
Everything was OK, but I must say that there is no reception office, they provide a kind of code or password and then you have to type it at the door in order to get in. In spite of that, that wasn't a problem for us.
Bathroom was clean Bed line was clean
Thrown together furniture The noise from the main road Noise from front door Dirty Rugs Bulbs sticking out of lampshades
Bus service good, Taxi back about £7.
Everything well worn, bathroom not clean, shower ineffective. Noisy people coming in late. Parking poor on premises, road side parking better. Too far from City
As good as a hotel, but much cheaper Simple to arrange Kitchen facilities for preparing own food Location No need to check in - just use supplied door codes
Initially difficult to get code for front door to work - had to wait for someone to let me in
alarm going off twice in middle of the night! Fridge not working! massive hole in shower! Carpet hadnt ever been cleaned! The website is the best part of this hotel
The price - 68 for four was a bargain. And we slept well...
It's a bit tatty all round. Not having a reception is not ideal.
The room was nice
The bathroom had a horrible smell, the shower floor was broken and the floor in the bathroom was uneven
It was clean and comfortable and there was no noise. A bit pricey but nothing to complain about
An alarm went off one night disturbing our sleep
Tired furniture and fittingd
The bed in room 3 was damp, the shower leaked, the guests opposite us in room upstairs were excessively noisy, arguing from 02:00-04:30 in the morning and there was no staff on the premises to manage the problems.
Everything was great
Large room to get ready with friends. Bus stop across road to access city. Late check out time! (lay in) Bottled water and fridge (free)
Late Check in Time (2pm)
I liked the cleanliness of the facilities. The location wasn't too far from the city centre which was also good.
I didn't like that there were no staff to greet you when arriving. We did not have any hot water either in room 10.
