The price - 68 for four was a bargain. And we slept well...
It's a bit tatty all round. Not having a reception is not ideal.
The room was nice
The bathroom had a horrible smell, the shower floor was broken and the floor in the bathroom was uneven
It was clean and comfortable and there was no noise. A bit pricey but nothing to complain about
An alarm went off one night disturbing our sleep
Tired furniture and fittingd
The bed in room 3 was damp, the shower leaked, the guests opposite us in room upstairs were excessively noisy, arguing from 02:00-04:30 in the morning and there was no staff on the premises to manage the problems.
Everything was great
Large room to get ready with friends. Bus stop across road to access city. Late check out time! (lay in) Bottled water and fridge (free)
Late Check in Time (2pm)
I liked the cleanliness of the facilities. The location wasn't too far from the city centre which was also good.
I didn't like that there were no staff to greet you when arriving. We did not have any hot water either in room 10.
Clean and comfortable
Shower smelled like a sewer when cubicle door was opened. It did however disperse and was fine for remainder of stay.
20 mins away from Liverpool town centre via bus 20 mins from where I needed to be for work Parking is available Friendly people well known area.
24 hour traffic - windows aren't double glazed - which made sleeping a nightmare Room needs air conditioning on hot days as opening the window - can't hear anything due to the traffic
Bed was ok.
Location, unexplainable the building next door. Rugs on floor we wouldnt stand on with bare feet. Such a lovely building and features. Wasted potential.
easy enough to park in surrounding streets
quite a good location
heavy fire doors closing at night
the room was great, clean & plenty of room for the 4 of us :)
the area, loud music played out into the street until at least 5.30 am keeping us awake very noisy neighbourhood:(
It was walking distance from the wedding we were going to.
Stayed in ground floor room which had no locks on windows - could easily have been opened from outside during the night. General standard of fittings in the room was pretty cheap. Room not ready for an hour after check-in time. Very overpriced for the quality provided. Car parking for only two cars - not as implied online.
The room was large and well furnished, clean and tidy. The documents advised that a tv and fridge were included. This was correct, with the added bonus of clean towels, toiletries and a hair dryer.
One of the beds was broken, and I therefore had the worst night's sleep ever (the bed in the centre of room 6). The window near the tv would not stay open, and the free wifi did not work.
Tea and coffee plus drinking water
The shower was insecure and didn't work on the first of our 2 days. We had to make 3 phone calls on our pay as you go mobile to get it fixed and even then it gave a very poor water flow. This spoiled an otherwise enjoyable stay.
Poor bathroom, shower power very low. Dark bathroom. Poor ventilation in room, too hot and windows barely opened. Did not like the concept of un manned hotel.
The size of the room was good.
When attempting to use the Wi-Fi, it would connect but pages would not load and the internet therefore appeared not to work. We had nowhere to park due to a van being parked across the driveway on arrival, we attempted to find the owner of this van but could not, and had an appointment in town that we needed to attend promptly, as a result we had to park our car on a side street. On returning we had lost our chance to use this parking space due to other guests having arrived. When we arrived there were cleaning products everywhere outside our room. We had understood we were checking in at 14.00 and that everything would be ready. This appeared to not be the case.
Otherwise a decent place to stay!
Other residents were very loud in middle of the night including entering building and hanging round outside enterance at 2-3am - absence of onsite staff doesn't help this. This probably means I will not rebook.
Loved the location as it was right where we wanted to be and only a few mins in a taxi to town. Rooms were very big and spacious and clean. Good sized fridge in rom and water bottles and glasses provided and beds very comfy. Will definitely go back and stay again.
In one of rooms the TV didn't work but all it needed was a new aerial cable, feel like this should have been spotted when the room was being cleaned. Also and you had to hold the shower head yourself as it didn't stay up. This was in room 4. We also had room 2 and everything in that room was fine.
Noise from the road was loud, we were staying in room 2 though. Would benefit from double glazing I think.
The location is nice if you want to be near Sefton Park.
The pictures of this place are very misleading, the outside and inside of the house is shabby and run down and the faults to numerous to list. The owners of this property need to spend some money and bring the place up to a standard fit for the price they charge. The best word to describe this place is, awful.
Good size room
The TV volt had one STn and you couldent plug kettle in without moving it other side of room
