We travelled with two children so had a room with each child. The girls room lovely the boys not so great. Breakfast nice and staff lovely. Needs a bit of updating its a bit tired especially for the price you pay. Excellent location and plenty of parking. Would stay there again as long as I could request the same room.
Main course at dinner and also breakfast were very good.
Room was not ready: we opened a door to a dirty room. We were switched to a better room. No real ale. Badly advised re dessert at dinner. Hotel seemed short-staffed.
Staff excellent, most obliging Location excellent for reaching most places Our room had a bath as well as a shower, which was very unusual and which made us decide on the Beeches. Overall, excellent!
As we need to keep an eye on business, we needed Wifi, but it was not too good in our room. we managed ok though, as reception was good, in reception!
I found the check in very quick due to booking through booking.com. The staff were very polite too
The iron that we used leaked every where when in use. The ironing board had seen better days. The free wifi, well couldn't connect at all. The bath really needs a bath mat, my partner nearly fell and hurt himself.
The staff were lovely The room was nice with a good bathroom The location is great Breakfast was lovely (apart from the lack of fruit)
I was kept awake one night by the sound of the TV from another room all night (I found some earplugs at 3.30am so that helped!) could also hear conversations from other rooms and it was noisey hearing room doors slamming loudly at night. The wi-fi took quite a while to connect initially (I needed it for work) My room was left unlocked/open all day after it had been serviced - this worried me as I had expensive items that could have been stolen There was no fruit available at breakfast when I asked for it
The breakfast was good, staff friendly although they were rushed off their feet, one member on duty at breakfast. The location very good also parking
Couldn't get wi fi in room we were on the 1st floor, the bedding is a bit tired also curtains something brighter would lift the foom
Service was always polite, helpful and efficient Tasty breakfast. Clean comfortable and spacious room
I arrived at 9pm and couldn't get a meal.
Cleanliness of room.
Poor wi fi connection. Room keys very awkward to use.
Close to the hospital which was my work place for the day
when I arrived my booking wasn't there even though I had a confirmation, they put me in a room big enough only for the double bed and there was no hot water in the morning
Nice bar area, comfortable room, and the free wifi worked well
No hot water for shower in the morning
Just about everything: Friendly Clean Lovely room Nice food Good parking space Quiet
TV Was too small
Great location Friendly staff Comfortable
Difficult to connect to the internet Expensive for food
Most staff were excellent; very helpful etc. The rooms in the new extension were clean well furnished and bright and have all the usual facilities you would normally need. Nice bar and good breakfast.
The food served in the restaurant at dinner was poor. My wife had a rump steak which was too tough to cut let alone eat. I had a steak and kidney pudding which was poorly filled and had a "crust " that was bone hard and risky to cut for fear of it flying off the plate. My advice: live in but eat out.
the fact I had to take the toilet lid off to stop it flushing ,the fact the bedside light did not work, the fact the radio did not work the milk had to be changed as it was out of date ,and curdled my tea ,the kettle had to be changed ,as it tainted the water ,so could not drink the tea and as there was only one tea bag did with out in the end ,the breakfast was really ,meagre and very poorly cooked , it was suppose to be three star hotel and I paid 150 pounds for the two nights felt ashamed as my friends fared no better in their rooms ,and as I booked on their behalf feel embarrassed about it .shall get in touch Grimsby's tourist board and tell them just what I think of the beeches hotel.
amount of storage and all matching furniture, lots of parking
only one toilet roll and one soap, hated early breakfast 7-9am as felt rushed and would of liked a lie in
Compact but clean, comfortable room. Newish clean and modern bathroom. Excellent breakfast included in price, nicely cooked and presented. Choice of full English or vegetarian option, continental, toast, fruit salad, all made to order plus all the usual juices, cereal and yogurt on a buffet table. Smart and modern 'boutique' style decor downstairs. Staff friendly and helpful.
Mattress a bit hard. Not in a particularly nice area and quite a noisy road outside but was only using hotel as a base whilst attending a wedding and visiting relatives so this wasn't too much of an issue.
Food not allowed in room despite saying room service. Bed was only okay Wi-Fi didn't work Breakfast portions are small
Staff listened to our requirements and made efforts to work around our other plans.
The food and service . Room comfortable.Quite area.
Bedise lamp not working and WC flush not working properly
The staff were friendly. Sandy the receptionist/bar lady was really nice and outgoing. Great place to stay.
Breakfast finished at 9am on a Sunday, and checkout by 10.30, very disapointing!!
Small bedroom Tiny bathroom Not very clean
The staff.very serious and not very friendly.they made feel uncomfortable
Clean, friendly staff on arrival; necessary after 7 hrs in the car. Bedroom facilities were recently refurbished and well done. Suited my stay.
For what it was I felt it was a touch expensive. Some staff training is needed. I would have liked a table to work at with my colleagues and the staff didn't want to clear one.
A well run hotel in a quite residential area. Staff friendly and helpful, excellent English breakfast, room well furnished clean and tidy.
