Food was very poor chunky chip's only half cooked breakfast cooked to much in advance hash brown's not even cooked
Spotlessly clean Everything we needed in room and lots of space
Finding the room - the building is a labyrinth The bed was not king size
The bar food is much improved since I last visited and I enjoyed my meal. Staff were very friendly.
I couldn't access the internet as there was a problem on the evening I visited. The room and bathroom were very small.
nice room very roomy also evening staff very nice meal very good also breakfast very good
very unhelpfull receptionist she said no food available but when we asked resturant staff they said food was available also very cold everywhere windows very draughty
Large rooms, excellent price, large car park. Location is great if you have a car, otherwise may be trickier to get to.
A bit of a maze to navigate owing to the building, but well signposted throughout.
Great price, Clean warm room, nice bar and food, very friendly staff. Nice and quiet. Would defiantly go back again.
Location Price Cleanliness Facility Comfort
Toilet flush button did not work properly and I had to open the lid and press manually.
Really nice place a good part of Birmingham , excelent b+b if we go to that Birmingham area that's the beeches are for us
Only thing was my partner thought the heating was a bit warm during the night but I didn't think of turning a urging down next time I'll look for controls . Better to be warm than cold
I've stayed at this hotel last year on my own and found it really quiet and relaxing, this year I went back and requested the same room which was no problem. I was studying for an exam and it was perfect for me and just 5 mins from where I needed to be. The staff are extremely helpful whatever your needs. I would definitely stay again if I'm in the same area.
Very pleasant staff, very clean and comfortable room. Freshly cooked breakfast was excellent.
A maze of corridors to reach the room
near to the hospital we were visiting, this is the second time we've stayed there.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Pleasant and quiet location. Quiet room in an annex Tasty breakfast
Nothing of note
Very friendly staff and always ready to help
Occasionally the towels weren't replaced
got what you paid for
the bed was not a double! you had to walk the entire hotel up 3 lots of stairs to get to our room which was on the ground floor. very thin walls could hear upstairs every move
Everything was Excellent accept there was no attraction centers around the hotel
No restaurants or cafes around the Hotel in walk distance of 20 min (the train station also was in 20 min wlak distance)
Atmosphere and food
All good for me no oroblems
Free car park
No place to eat except on lap Poor bedrooms Unfriendly staff Cold rooms
The location was great in relation to the function which I was going to rather than anything to do with the hotel, which was good, good lounge space to meet with friends pre and post function.
Bar wasn't great, but what can one expect. More than adequate though... one cider (beer drinker) then headed out.
Spacious room, good bathroom, drinks in the foyer, easy parking, history of the building
Weird stairway system - especially when you arrive late
Warm friendly staff Good grounds & outlook Walkable from railway Good vfm Buzzin breakfast!
Nothing to dislike, just think you may be missing a trick - I suggest in the heart of bourneville chocolate you might give a complimentary 'mini' bar of it - or risk a takeover by 'Beeches chocolates of Preston' landing a coup de grace ..!
Staff- helpful and friendly Location Price Standard of room Peaceful
I liked the proximity to my meeting.
The compact room.
The hotel was very close to where I had a busines meeting. The breakfast was excellent and good value for money.
The bar/restaurant menu didn't appeal so I ate away from the hotel.
The room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was excellent.
No bedside light
