The hotel was very well kept and the gardens were fantastic. It would have been nice if breakfast was included. |

Our room on the ground floor facing the patio and near reception. The position of the hotel near the city centre, and next to the Victorian garden. The service and polite, relaxed atmosphere. |

The staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel was ideally located for visiting the city without having to use the car. All amenities close by. The room was clean and nicely decorated but the bed would have benefitted from a new matress - a bit lumpy and uncomfortable! |

The excellent location, the ease of of parking and the helpfulness of the staff. The shower was very low pressure, and the traffic noise made worse by an outer window that didn't close properly |

The hotel was fine, it did what it said on the can, as it were. Areas for improvement: 1. A desk in the room where I could sit and work at my computer. 2. Relocate the shower head in the shower. 3. Availability of light snacks after 9.00pm for those weary travellers who arrive late. 4 A better selection of TV channels - I missed my favourite TV show. |

Beautiful soroundings, gardens, very peaceful and relaxing. linked to a lovely Cafe across the road. Staff were excellent even when we arrived after 1.30am in the morning. The bed was too low, no bedside table, nocking noise in the middle of the night. Would prefer if Breakfast was included in the price and served a bit late (finishes at 9.00am) most places this finishes at 10.00am. |

Nice clean, comfortable, quiet room. Not the most modern hotel in the world, but all the more charming because of that. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance from the city centre. WiFi wasn't working in my part of the hotel during my stay, but apparently they're upgrading the system now. It was available in the hotel bar/lounge. |

Staff excellent. Room clean, breakfast excellent and value for money. Close to town centre. The underneath of the shower was a little dirty and the grouting in bathroom tired and a little dirty. Mainly clean tho. |
