It was a lovely old house and obviously in the process of being renovated, which would improve it a lot. The breakfast was great, and the waiter very attentive. It looked like it would develop into something really lovely with a bit of attention
Carting our luggage to the top floor! And the bathroom was quite small.
Nothing at all
The shipping container and rotten old jaguar abandoned in the front garden, the disgraceful dirty furniture and walls, the rude staff
Location and staff
In need of upgrade and attention to some of the fittings. Carpet in room quite dirty. Also, no mirrors in bedroom.
Very easy to find, good food quality, and service.
Friendly staff. Lovely breakfast, central location to other amenities.
The radiator was hanging off the wall, the toilet didn't flush, not so clean, the window was cracked and some of the coving was off and looked like it was going to fall on my head in the single bed. Also not enough parking space.
Looks nice from the outside . Staff friendly
The room was very poorly furnished . Carpet badly worn and dirty , Could not sleep as the bed was not comfortable . Bathroom very small and cramped .
looked at it from the outside and wanted to drive on. Inside smelt the carpets stained and worn. Had no other choice but to stay as we were attending a wedding would never stay there again.
Breakfast was good and the staff cheer full
The accommodation would need a lot of up dating windows and doors didn't close right very damp shower dirty
Although booked in may the staff didnt have my details but Trevor the manager took over and upgraded us and was more than helpful in every way. Great guy
Position near public transport and town. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast Good value for money
Some maintenance issues with bar area and our room. Hot water was not on until just before earliest breakfast option so showers were not available in morning.
Comfy bed, warm room, good shower, nice breakfast and friendly staff
The room, although comfortable, could do with a few repairs and maybe a lick of paint but I would stay here again.
Large room plenty of tea and coffee room cleaned daily. Is a pleasant hotel stayed a few times will use again good breakfast value for money.
Carpet in room quite grubby. Creaky floors above meant disturbed night sleep.
Friendly,,helpful staff. Great location for ballymena. Nice road. Spacious room. Breakfast just ok
Not clean enough. Hairs all over place. Surfaces not dusted nor wiped. Breakfast placemats dirty. Overall, housekeeping lets it down.
spacious room,comfortable bed.
too near to busy main road,I was woken at 5.30am by traffic noise. My special dietary request was not taken care of.Limited choice of cereals.
Very good for the price. Large room, comfy bed and warm welcome.
Room smelt damp and lack of plugs in the room
Very good. Close to Railway station and buses. Comfortable room, excellent breakfast. Enjoyed our stay.
Location so convient to Town, yet peaceful setting..
We were staying with our baby daughter and the staff at hotel were very helpful. We were supplied with a cot and upgraded to a larger room at no extra cost which made our stay so much more enjoyable. The breakfast was lovely and very generous portions.
The hotel is a little old fashion in appearance but I think it does add to the charm of the place.
The breakfast was very good
The building was old and poorly maintained. The carpet looked like it had not been cleaned or vacuumed in years. The floor squeezed so badly it was annoying to us and I'm sure to every other guest.
The price was amazing and the triple bedroom actually could have slept about 6 people. The food was good and the staff were very prompt and friendly.
Let's be honest, for the price you shouldn't expect much. Bad carpet, run-down, etc. But, really who wouldn't want to see the "Best-Worst B&B in all of Ireland" ?
The spacious rooms, and the décor. Despite showing signs of age having a room with a chandelier and fireplace and loads of room was lovely. Close to the railway station, walking distance to town centre.
No reading lamps on the bed, the internet was patchy in the room but worked fine in the sitting room. Lots of parking but a bit difficult with entry and exit onto a busy road.
Breakfast was good bed comfortable location was good
Squeezes floors windows would need replaced the whole building could do with and up date but ok for night or two
It was clean and the staff were attentive.
Our room had quite a few damp patches and would have benefited from redecoration to modernise it. Great potential.
The room was very large and very clean. Breakfast room is nice and breakfast was excellent. We stayed here before heading into Belfast and it was very close without being in the city. Easy to find.
The room was huge and had a four poster bed which was extremely comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great - lots of choice.
