“ The location. It is only a couple miles from the galgorn, which we had to visit for a wedding. As we had to be in the area, the beechfield was really a great value for the money and location. The service was excellent. The rooms and buildings of course are a little old and worn, but it is great value for the money. ”

not much arrived to be told we were in the other house ashfield. opened bedroom door and carpet was minging. bugs and dead wasp laying in floor. when we came back at night tried to close curtains in bedroom and the rail fell off wall

Nothing on arrival we were asked to pay our bill, his credit card machine was not working and we were asked when we were out to pick up cash for him (what a cheek) our room was dirty with stained carpets and dirty worn out furniture and the television was ancient and with freeview on it the signal was non existent at times. At breakfast we had not much choice in what to drink only orange juice and hardly any choice in the cooked breakfast also the manager walked in one door and out the other in the breakfast room when people were trying to eat their breakfast in peace also the staff were not friendly and needed a course in manners when serving breakfast and they had a habit of cleariing tables and making such a racket when doing so. We will not be back to this Bed and Breakfast

Close to location of wedding which I was attending. Free Wifi. Dirty carpets and furniture. Old outdated decor. Radiator in room not working. Drain in bathroom sink not working, shower not working apart from a drizzle. Paint peeling from walls. Very expensive for what received.

Nothing The room was filthy, and the carpets were disgusting. They wanted to charge me a £10 admin fee for getting some Soya Milk for my breakfast! All in all, a very unpleasant experience!

This was a very homey, friendly place which was convenient to everything. We especially enjoyed the breakfast! Very tasty. Couldnt ask for better accomodation. There was nothing I didnt like about the Beechfield.

Pleasant and welcoming service as always.Very spacious rooms with comfortable furniture. Lovely breakfast. Short walk from Ballymena and shops etc. Great value for money.

It was great price friendly staff and was brilliant as we had a wedding in the galgorm to go to it was fully booked also in triple figures! So il def stay here again if I ever had a wedding there again lol TVs were not fixed from the switch over but hey that easy fixed! I wasn't really there not to watch it!

The staff were pleasant and accomodating. Free wifi in room with good connection. The late night key handy if attending a function. The breakfast very nice. When the Manager asked for the full amount of money up front alarm bells began to ring.The room was depressing. Carpet dirty. Bedding old, cheap and not matching. Mattress lumpy. Table lamps very old, dirty and shades falling off. Ceiling shade dirty. Chest of drawers had no bottom in drawer. Shower barely working and waited long time for hot water to come through. Radiator in room never came on. Television not working (but this due to digital transfer). General cleanliness poor. Its a shame really that the rooms are so run down as the staff were very helpful and pleasant. I can only presume that the guest house is in the process of refurbishment . Some of the problems would not have taken much to rectify.
