A lovely old country house hotel in peaceful setting with beautiful gardens including old mill wheel, and only a couple of miles from Derry. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and, best of all, the staff were delightful - courteous, friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone ! A must for anyone interested in history - house was used in war for US troops and Bill Clinton is a previous guest.

The location is very good. Far enough from town to be quiet yet close to be convenient. The grounds are fantastic if you like walks and wildlife. The staff are very friendly. There is a good menu which is keenly priced. Food was tasty. The beds are very comfortable. There was nothing to dislike about Beech Hill. It may be a little over priced. We paid £120 for one night and breakfast. That said, our room had an extra single bed. I do know better offers are available at Beech Hill depending on the time of year.

It's everything you could hope for in an Irish hotel - good hospitality, nice room, great breakfast and nice grounds around the hotel. I had a bit of trouble finding the hotel.

The Beech Hill Hotel is perfectly situated within easy reach of Derry city, yet surrounded by lush Northern Irish countryside. The staff were welcoming, friendly, approachable and helpful. I stayed on a night that coincided with a large group of other residents, yet never did I feel that I was overlooked. I thoroughly recommend the restaurant menu and the food was second to none! Overall, I'd recommend Beech Hill to a friend or a couple seeking a romantic get-away. I'd definitely stay there again myself.

likd the location of the hotel and the fact that you could go for a relaxing walk around the lovely grounds. Also liked the size of the rooms etc. The staff were extremely helpful and arranged an early check in for us as reason for trip was to attend family funeral. no dislikes

The food was nice. I would definitely not rate this hotel as 4 star. There was no hair dryer in the room and I needed a sewing kit and the hotel didn't have one.

Staff helpful and friendly. I didnt like the room that was used for dinner and breakfast as it lacked the same character as the rest of the hotel. It would also help to have some background music as it was very quiet.

We ate off the Table d'Hote menu and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The breakfast menu was very impressive - one of the best selections in any hotel I have stayed in. All the hotel staff were extremely friendly and I would hope to stay there again.

I really enjoyed my time in the Beech Hill Hotel, but what made the trip extra special was the friendly staff and the lovely room. The food was also great and there was event entertainment in the Bar. So all in all a great experience.

We found the staff, location and hotel to be excellent. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and quirky. The grounds have a lovely and peaceful setting. It is ideally located for a visit to Derry and the border town of Buncrana. The breakfast room is very comfortable and the views are beautiful. We would recommend anyone interested in wanting to enjoy a relaxing, peaceful and pleasant short break to book with the hotel.

friendliness of the staff -- extremely obliging and wanting to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The service was personal and of the highest standard-- This was so much better than staying in a modern group hotel Food was excellent and the grounds were lovely for walks . Also very close to the City for culture/ leisure/ shopping and to beautiful scenery in Northern Ireland and also easy access to Donegal Ideal spot for tourists Can't recommend highly enough

Beech Hill is a superb hotel, I would have no hesitation in staying here again, in fact we hope to do so soon. The staff are excellent, every one is there to make your stay more pleasurable. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, 32 acres which makes for lovely, if a little muddy, walks. The only issue we had was the fab roll top bath in the bedroom had no hot water supply which was a bit disappointing. We were told that an engineer was on his way to fix this. All in all, I'd definitely recommend staying at Beech Hill.

A luxury break in the country side. Staff were friendly and helpful. Meals were excellent. Hotel in general was excellent, clean and added to the luxurious stay. I will certainly be returning and recommending to friends & family. Only minor point which does not distract from our stay was the breakfast appeared to be disorganised and slow. Perhaps staff would be better to greet patrons and to explain to them to make their own toast and order their eggs! - especially to patrons who are staying for the first time.
