location, friendly owners, very good breakfast.Italian restaurant called Casa d'Italia with vey good food 5 mins walk away.
Bedrooms need modernising
Unfriendliness and condescending manner of patron; no lifts; corridors unlit; coldness of room. Not one to go back to.
We found the staff very good, the bedroom was clean and comfortable.
Shower very small, disabled access not good. Soundproofing not good as we were woken early as the owners got up and they were above us us.
The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. Good amount of parking and our room was very spacious and quiet.
The room was adequate for our needs, but could do with a bit of sprucing up and modernisation.
The bedroom was comfortable
Not good value for money. At £150 a night in a 3 star hotel we expected better quality in all areas. Only two normal teabags the rest were herbal, Only UHT Milk available. The food in the restaurant was very poor quality and for what it was far too expensive. Breakfast was average and only the bare minimum supplied. The list is extensive but when asking for a full breakfast only 5 items provided , we had to ask for extra. and only smokey bacon was provided, ok if you like this but not everyone's choice. Overall disappointed with the food in general
Room was nice and clean, crisp white towels and bedding. Lovely breakfast and even accomodated my sister. Staff were friendly and knowledgable.
Hotel had a wedding on that evening which had very loud music. We were told about this when we checked in, but it would've been nice to have been warned when the room was booked.
The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good.
I was unable to use the hotel's free Wi-Fi in my room.
The Hosts were friendly and helpful. The parking was very convenient as we were able to leave our car in the car park to go to a funeral.
Nice hotel, room was good, cooked breakfast excellent and very friendly hosts
The staff were very polite and responsive. All areas were very clean.
Initial thoughts on arrival were that the hotel was closed. Exterior was very sad looking, as was the interior. No table or chair in the room. Parts of the breakfast had been cooked the day before and re-heated. I expected better for the price.
Friendly staff close to shopping area and all amenities great for parking
Family run hotel. Friendly owners and staff. Freshly prepared breakfast to order. Food in general good. Good size room.
Bath appeared not to have been cleaned thoroughly after previous occupant. No shower.
Very personable and helpful staff. Breakfast EXCELLENT
Problem with the cold water tap
Only stayed one night and didn't need dinner, so difficult to comment on all amenities. Very nice room with plenty of space to move around and bed very comfortable. Excellent breakfast.
No complaints about facilities, but grounds (in particular driveway and parking areas) need improvements to make hotel more welcoming. First impressions are important!!
We had a great time staying here. The hosts, Rose and Paul were really welcoming, as were their staff. The room we stayed in was really comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The bar was very pleasant to while away an hour in. The full English breakfast (included in the price) was top quality and plentiful, The hotel was only minutes from the town centre, and it had ample free parking in the grounds too. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others, and would certainly love to stay there again. Well done to the owners and their staff.
Nothing at all to dislike!
Cleanliness of the place and hospitality from the proprietors was great, comfortable stay and a decent breakfast!! Thanks
The decoration was fresh and immaculate. Room was delightful.
Ensuite needed a grab rail over bath. Staff needed training
Poorly maintained shower room and bedroom
Very friendly staff
I turned up and they had no information from Booking.com that I had booked a room through them, fortunately they had a spare room for me
Pleasant location within walking distance for sea front, town centre and railway station. Comfortable short stay with a very good full English breakfast cooked to your liking and ample free parking on site.
Only minor issues. Very warm water coming out of the cold tap in the middle of the night. A little fridge in the room would have been nice. Shower just about adequet.
Location was perfect for Littlehampton and Brighton, Staff very helpful.
No walk-in shower - but a good excuse for a lazy bath ...
Location in Worthing was ideal and the balcony attached to the room was good for watching the squirrels and magpies, although a few less cobwebs would have been nice. Good bar area and outside garden which we would have liked more time to enjoy. Staff very friendly and breakfast was braw.
The cooked English breakfast was excellent. The wifi was very fast: it was at least 10 Mbs!
Some of the facilities are in need of an upgrade and therefore I think the price should be lower.
Our superior room was well appointed and comfortable with nice extra touches such as fruit and fresh flowers. We arrived very early and our room was prepared for us immediately. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent.
Slow hot tap and no shower, only a bath but these are minor points.
Rustic charm good location friendly and helpful staff breakfast excellent
Could have got rid of the cobwebs in bathroom and on veranda
