Beechwood Hotel  

Good friendly hotel who were very keen to be as helpful as possible. I needed an extension lead for my laptop and they found what I needed and delivered it to my room. Good meal. All in all excellent value for money.

A bit shy on power sockets in the room.

Little tired looking around the edges, requires new matresses, time to put heating on as rooms cold during late evening and through the night.

Good basic budget hotel. Bedrooms could do with a bit of an upgrade but would stay their again.

Comfortable, friendly service, food and drink were fine.

Only seemed to be one member of staff, so he wasn't always there when you needed him.

Nice and peacfull location, just the thing after hard days work.

Everything, the staff were excellent, the food was very good, high standard of cleanliness in rooms, comfortable bed, beautifully cooked breakfast - a lovely small hotel which is under new management - I would definately stay here again and recommend it to my colleagues. We were able to come and go as we wanted without any difficulties - and as we were there for a dancing events which ended late, it was great we didn't have to worry about getting back in at night.

Friendly helpful staff. Room was clean, well decorated, good selection of tv channels,

WiFi connection was a bit slow. Very small shelf in the bathroom, so nowhere to put toiletries very easily.

The food was very good

The room had a broken window latch so was cold and drafty. The shower had a broken bracket and not usable

The staff are very helpful and have much better english than the last time we were here. It is handy for Coventry and surrounding areas and is in a reasonably quiet area. The food was good to eat and good value. Nice to have a hairdryer handy in the room. The local customers in the bar were friendly and 'normal.'

Small things - not enough tea/coffee/milk sachets for 2 people. We asked and got more, but more in the room would seem less pennypinching. Also biscuits would be nice.... The general feel of the stairways of the hotel and especially the outside entrance/garden area is slightly run down and would only take a small amount of attention to sort out.

I like the friendly and helpful staff. I remember staying at thye beechwood many years ago with my family, and many happy memories were brought back during the stay.
