Location, location, location
central location and cheap.
Although it states it in advert lack of wifi, no parking and lack of food options do spoil staying here. Had to go the excellent take away next door.
Clean, the level of comfort corresponds the price of room.
The radiator in the room was cold. The manager was quick to attend and get that working. We were so tired that night that we slept really well. Good price
The room is in the extension bit of the pub, involving going into it round the side and the back of the pub. This was not described in the advert.
straight forward value for money good digs and grat pub
just the parking but manageble
Easy to find Friendly reception TV-v small Tea/Coffee making facilitee Clean linens Average decorations
Very congested Narrow entrance Unfriendly staircase with low roof issue potential risk of banging head No drinking water provided Limited TV channels No body/shower gel or Shampoo provided
I loved the location as it wasn't far from family great hotel thank you
We came to the room after a party around 2 am. Since there was a separate entrance we didn't disturb others.
The doggy dirty passage before the room. Old carpet. Cutlery we got for the breakfast should go to the bin. For the £52 pounds not worth.
On the basis of value for money and the service that was provided this no frills accommodation ticked all the boxes for me
On arrival it matched other comments it is a small back street establishment, however the room was more than satisfactory for what I needed. The owner was very helpful and friendly and the locals in the pub very friendly. Overall, I would stay there again, I went for a wedding so only required a place to sleep. If you arevisiting family, like friendly pubs and not planningto spend all day in your room this is ideal. My family paid 3 times as much to do the same. Dave Surrey
No complaints at all.
Had a walk in shower room/toilet, Had a shower in the evening but the drain was blocked when we got back. Mentioned to the bar staff but no one attended. Had to stand in cold dirty water to use toilet and wash basin next morning.. Not good
Very friendly staff and customers
I found the room clean and tidy and the staff good
beer and the people

The 3 beds room is big with clean modern sheets, tea and coffee at your dislosal. The bathroom is spacious. It is at 5 min. of Grantham Museum, good location.
No car parking
the freedom to come and go as we liked we had keys to all outside doors so we did not have to ask for doors to be opened when we came back staff was helpful could not have done any more for us 10 out of 10 thankyou
It was cheap, convenient and the pub had history and character. Friendly staff and good breakfast. the pub was in the process of changing hands and they plan to do some much needed work to spruce it up.
The new owners are inheriting a few years a neglect. The place needed a damn good clean and a lick of paint, comfortable beds, new curtains, towels and some soap in the bathroom. Easy things to rectify once they are in ownership.
history and related history to my family
noise from pub opposite
Andy the owner runs a great Pub
Priced for a clean and pleasant stay.
Comfortable bed & friendly landlord. Good breakfast. Excellent value for money & right in the heart of town.
The staff were great
There was NO hot water in the morning. The windows were rotting, and the general cleanliness was fairly poor!
Very central location for my visit to Grantham. Friendly people, good pub with real ale. Room was clean and quiet with comfortable bed. Good value for money.
