Confortable bed ,quiet enough place .
Room was a bit cold , shower door kept sliding of , carpet could do with a clean , bedding looked old and shabby , smell of ciggarettes through the night in room .didn't even bother trying breakfast as it was only continental , felt they could of made more of an effort
Clean bed, clean shower with hot water. Would not return.
The state of the room..very dated and sellotaped wallpaper? ?? POOR breakfast choice with cold toast 1st morning....i like hot toast! No choice...had bn sitting at least 1 hour! 2nd morning made fresh!
The bed and television was pretty good.
The shower was way so small, the step in the toilet was very dangerous, and the towel rack just above the toilet, I had whacked my head off it. Breakfast wasn't a cooked one, and you got cold toast. Wasn't very impressed, doubt I'll be going back.
Location was ideal as we also like to walk and having park nearby was a bonus also not that far from city centre comfortable stay and bedroom was very clean n tidy would stay again for night .
just great great staff
Excellent location - right near Kelvingrove and the West End - a brief walk to reach SECC. The place is modest, basic, and a little tough at the edges, but had a incredibly comfortable bed, and was a peaceful room.
nothing it was a dirty dump
i wasnt made welcome when i arrived. In fact my rooms were not ready and i was offered a triple room instead of a double and a single. My daughter is 37 yrs old and booked her own private room. The host picked our room and gave us a triple room which was not as per our request. I argued my point with her staff and eventually she gave us a double and a triple for our original price. The room had no toiletries in the bathroom not even hand soap. The breakfast was over at 9 am on Sunday but we did not go because it did not seem very hygienic or adequate. The staff member was rather rude. This is worst hotel i have ever stayed in my daughters rooms ceiling was badly cracked. The shower was terrible and was only hot in the morning in our room but my daughters was cold and both had very low pressure.
Everything. A filthy carpeted room - looked like student accommodation only worse. Unhygienic sanitary arrangements and everything falling apart. Dreadful!
Great area, ten min walk to sec hydro, lots of bars and restuarants across the road, happy chatty staff.
On 2nd night, member of staff shouting outside room for nearly an hour on phone at nearly midnight.
the beds were not comfortable, the lack of a cooked breakfast, and the fiasco of having to wait until they went to the shops for milk in the morning.
The sfaff was very kind and my room was clean. The Beersbridge is located in a very quiet place in the city centre.
As clearly stated in the hotel webpage, there is no wifi in the hotel. However, the owner kindly gave me the password of her private wifi, that works in the hall. This is useful if you need to check your email.
Warm and comfortable
Carpet needs a good clean ,,,,shower tray very slippery needs a mat or nonslip material
This was a good budget value hotel room in the West End of Glasgow. We had a decent sized basement room in Finnieston. The bed was fine, the bathroom was ok. The location was good as we could eat at a variety of snazzy places right on the main street, 2 minutes away. We could also walk to Byres Road and Kelvingrove Park quickly.
The booking process was confusing. We booked a larger room but were given a smaller basement room upon arriving. Thankfully, it was cheaper. It was also a dark room as it was just below the outside stairs. A shame as it was actually sunny the whole time in Glasgow! Rare. The pipes/toilet flushing was also quite loud and we'd hear that from others all night so ear plugs were necessary. Otherwise, it was just fine!
The location - the room was clean - but very tired
was vastly over charged because the Commonwealth games were on - the normal tariff was displayed on a board for all to see - thus the the felling of being ripped off - but all hotels etc were at it also - the breakfast was very basic - plus because of the games we had to carry our luggage from the end of the road and the same on checking out - in all not left a very good impression of Glasgow and I born and breed in Glasgow
Room clean, neat and tidy.
Some more work could be done in each of the rooms in regards to refurbishment for the rates that are being charged.
Lovely, clean hotel I will recoment to all.
Very nice staff. Great offer found on the internet so suitable for students. Location is perfect for town center and west end. Quiet and cosy.
We would have made a good use of an Internet connection. Without the offer, the price might be a bit high considering the size of the room, dated decor. Might be good to reduce price if you're not going to have breakfast as 8 to 9 might be early for some.
Not far away from town plus really nice room.
I did ask for smoking room and we get one for non smoker.
Breakfast was simple but good Woman in reception was friendly and cheerful Room was clean and enough for two person
Smell in room was like pesticide but not too disturbing
It was cheap, room was clean and bed comfortable
No staff in morning, do-it-yourself breakfast. Not clear we needed to raid the kitchen for toast. The tea bags had run out completely. Bathroom had a broken light and was in near blackness. TV in room-nice modern model supplied with poor signal.
Clean, if somewhat worn hotel in an old tenement. Decent, if slightly down-at-heel area. Nice owner True taste of Glasgow
Cash only No free wi-fi
5min from town centre&walking distance to the SECC&hydro. Friendly staff, will defo use again.
Staff were friendly and helpfull
Could do with being modernised chip in base of shower, no soap, room bit crammed, basic breakfast
The lady running the B&B was lovely and really helpful I would definitely stay here again
Friendliness of the staff and an excellent price for central Glasgow.
Breakfast starts too late for an earlybird like me.
