Excellent accommodation in a peaceful, beautiful environment. Owners are welcoming and able to offer a wealth of advice about the area and particularly the walks and the environment. Great place to stay!

    Soft mattresses but personal preference.

A good base to use for many sights in the area. Food was tasty and well presented with enough choices to suit anyone's palette. Rooms clean and very well maintained.

Lack of telephone reception which made booking restaurants hard but the staff would do that for you if you asked.

The owner couple was very helpful and friendly. The place was lovely and cozy. Lots of books and interesting DVDs and board games. Really enjoyed our stay.

The internet did not work during our stay. We felt OK but it might be a downside for some people.

Michael and Caroline was very informative, helpful and friendly. The location makes a perfect retreat or vacation. It could not be more peaceful! Very quiet, beautiful views, great breakfast, cozy comforter, generous amenities and delicious bar like cakes placed bedside with coffee and tea. It was perfect!

Reliance on cabs or generous help from staff for transportation. The cab drivers were great but it gets expensive. Perfect for bikers or having a car!

Location - this place met my location criteria for a B&B located in the park, which is to say you actually are fully in the park and not in the middle of a village or town. Located very close to the waterfall walks and to the mountain. When you look out your window and all you see is hillsides and sheep, you actually feel that you're in the park. Facility - This barn conversion has been done in a very comfortable rustic fashion with very nice rooms (we stayed in two of the three) and a very accommodating common area. The photos online don't really do justice to the size and warmth of the common area in the evening when there's a fire going. The grounds are immaculate and the garden has a very quaint stream running through it. Service - Mike & Caroline were both amazing hosts. Mike at us up with an ordnance survey, waterproof map holder, a compass, and turn by turn directions he had written up of the whole 10 mile waterfall hike. He then lit up a fire for us after our long rainy day. Caroline makes her own homemade jams and jellies which you can try at breakfast and by from her very cheaply. Bottom line - This little place was by far one of the best B&B's I've ever been to and sadly I was only there for two night, wished it could have been a lot longer than that.

Extremely welcoming hosts, ready with very helpful advice on where to go for food and walks . Lovely remote setting but easy to find. Room very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast (including vegetarian) excellent. Big and very comfortable separate guest lounge, with wood burner, books, maps etc. Homemade cake with the kettle, tea etc. in the room and unlimited extra fresh milk in a fridge in the dining room. We will definitely be going back.

My wife and i will definately be returning. We purchased some home made jams and even these where of high qaulity. If you boik to stay here you will not be dissapointed.

There was nothing to dislike about this guest house, the service or our stay. It was excellent. 10 out 10.

we really enjoyed our stay at Beili Helyg. Michael and Caroline were brilliant hosts, some delicious homemade cake in our room and they were happy to help us with tips on places to visit in the area to make the most of our stay. Our room was very comfortable with lovely views. We had full use of a lovely sitting room with a fab wood burning stove. The accommodation was spotless and the breakfast was delicious, full english, including duck eggs, a first for me. All in all we had a lovely visit and will definitely be back! I will be recommending this guest house to all my family and friends.

there was nothing not to like!
