Beit Hall  

So near to royal albert hall and kensington and slone square warm adequet room for one night.

Breakfast was hectic and cooked food was cold by time we sat down room was basic and I think could have been £20 cheaper

Great location in central London. Near to Hyde Park. Efficient and friendly check in. Clean and comfortable room with plenty of space and storage space. Good range of options for breakfast.

As it is a university halls of residence it felt slightly institutional. Breakfast was only from 7.00am and it would have been useful to have an earlier option. Poor information about what university facilities were available for use such as the swimming pool.

Good price, clean room, tea and coffee in the room, bottle of the water in the room - very good idea, especially for sightseeing activities. Just near with Royal Albert Hall and Kensington Garden. I took a room with shared bathroom, but basin was in my room - that was very nice and useful. Only toilet and shower are shared. Beit Hall is part of Imperial College, and right opposite of the entrance there is a building where you can get the dinner in very good price.

Not very clean toilets (I used shared one), shower is right under the ceiling - not possible to wash only legs for example (the water is splashed in the whole shower room). I would advice others to get the room with a bathroom in it.

Our room was spacious and faced Royal Albert Hall. Silent. Easy access to reception and rooms. Friendly staff WHO were all students. Very close to museums, to Kensington and Hyde parks. Great value for money. Breakfast was rich and it was nice beting with so Many other nationalities.

We were attending a concert at the royal Albert hall which was right next to beit hall so excellent location for that, however I do not recommend anybody stay here!!

Shower and sink very grimy, toilet did not flush properly, you could feel the springs coming through the mattress, on the camp beds, which creaked everytime you moved, the rooms pictured on website,leaflets,advertisements are not the room we recieved no where near!!! Linen was ripped and torn, very strange/unpleasant smell in the room even when we left the windows open(which were dirty and mouldy round the edges). Stains over the curtains and the chair was covered in stains. The carpet did not look clean at all, we came back as late as possible and left as early as we could the next day as we did not want to spend another minute extra in there. Heard bad reviews about breakfast so we went elsewhere for that. The staff did not ask how our stay was, and at most times appeared very rude. The court yard is nice but noisy at night, and so much rubbish left over it the next morning. This is a student accommodation not a hotel/b&b/guest house. But even if I was a student I would not stay here, excellent location but shame about everything else!! It may be cheap but it is still not worth the money at all, and the payment was taken from our account without us knowing! I was not willing to pay but I had no choice!

Nothing bad to say about Beit Hall.

I loved the location in Kennigston. There is a bus 360 that will take you directly to the South Kennigston tube station otherwise it's a 12 minute walk so we were glad to find it. The area is very charming and three great museums are minutes away!! The Westminster tube stop is very close where you can see Parliment!!

The beds need to thrown away. And our room on the second floor # 38 faced the Royal Albert Hall deliverary ramp. So we were woken up each morning around 6 or 7 when deliveries occurred.

Fantastic location

I like the staff. They are very kind and helpful, so nice ;-) But only staff is not enough, I had bad experience in my room . The result of stayed, I will not recommend other people stay at the Beit Hall

I have very bad experiences in my room. 1.Housekeeper! I stayed in the Hall from 9-13 Sept . On 11 Sept , housekeeper go to my room but just clear the bed. On 12 Sept , go to my room and clear the bed. I found that my sleepwear was thrown. My shirt was on the chair near the window, my pants was on the floor (I had taken the photo , my plan is to email to the manager of the Hall) . I was very very very angry . this is the first time in my life that I saw that the housekeeper was not nice. . And also he/she did not clean the toilet , clean the bin just one time (I stayed 4 nights but she/he keep clean the bin only 1 time) the Hall should provide the soap or shampoo everyday. I got them only the first day . 3. Should fill coffee milk In the room everyday. In my room I have only 4 bag of coffee. I can drink it only 2 days.

Very convenient for Royal Albert Hall and Kensington.

Would prefer to have a TV in room if my stay was for more than one night.

Mainly proximity to Royal Albert Hall. Rooms clean and comfortable. Basic amenities but everything that we needed and this was very much up to what we expected.

Location, convenience & character of buildings.

One of the twin rooms booked was really a single room with an extra bed.

It is next door to my real destination - the Albert Hall

Ease and location

Excellent location. The room was small and well organized, which I prefer to a gigantic room.

No potable water in the rooms -- you're supposed to get a bottle of water for coffee etc., but I didn't either day I was there, and staff did not offer to provide one when I reported it the first day. The staff seemed poorly trained in general. And the bed was about as comfortable as sleeping on the floor of Westminster Abbey.

The location - lovely area with super buildings and Kensington Gardens just across the road.

Room needs a comfy chair and bathrooms need a table and some hooks. Nowhere to place toiletries except on the floor.

Location

The fact that you had to go to another building for breakfast and that I started at 8.00 pm on oth Saturday and Sunday meant I did not get breakfast. Too expensive for what it was £60 a night without breakfast would have been a fairer price I think for £75 a night with breakfat it was too expensive. I recently stayed in Lyon in a wonderful appartment for £92 a night and 3 of us had beds lovely main room with a kitchen.

Uncomfortable beds

Location was excellent. I used as a base for the Olympics. I met the British and Australian triathlon teams who were using the pool prior to the Olympics. Need to walk 400 m to to the breakfast area and similar distance to the sports complex. Clean and quiet rooms and good value. Without doubt I would stay again if I was in London alone.

Beit Hall increased their prices during the Olympics, so have to judge them on the higher prices they charged. For this cost (£115 per night) it was very poor value for a small single room with no facilities. The room was very warm and the window would only open 1 inch (!), so very uncomfortable. A fan was provided but you could not sleep with this on. There is no aircon. No tv in the room. Breakfast was very poor quality.
