The Maitre de (I took that to be his role although he also acted as a porter and transported our luggage to our room) He was a very professional person with a lovely manner and gave an air of professionialism. He was the plus to the stay when we had a meal in the evening. The decor is very worn and tired looking and although the hotel appeared to be empty we were given a room which looked onto a roof surely in an empty hotel there were better situated rooms. I would not have paid any more for the accommodation. The window in the room would only open wide and not on a tilt to let air in because of this and the roof outside you could not leave window open. Would not use again. Reception although not busy gave a hurried air.

Very comfortable and quite bedrooms. Could not believe they did not accept euros. Its ideal for people flying out of Belfast international airport, and how many countries now use euro? We did not eat there as very expensive prices for food, and I did not book breakfast as it was at time of booking 13.95 [euros] each, which I feel is much too expensive for breakfast??

Location good for airport early morning departure. A bit pricey for Breakfast and bar food.As we have stayed here before the breakfast wasn't worth the money, food was cold and over cooked.Got a better breakfast in the airport for half the price. Rooms cold heating not on.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. My friend and I stayed overnight on Friday 22 March as we were due to travel on Saturday 23 March at 6.30am and because of the weather we wanted to have a nice relaxing time before departing. We had hoped to get up early and have a nice warm shower and prepare for the trip ahead. There was a power cut and we had no light at all. The emergency generator was not in operation and we could not see to get ready, pack up our things and we certainly did not get a shower. When we went into the corridor there was no light at all. If there had been a fire in the building there would have been complete panic. We had golf bags with us and had to carry these downstairs. In fact we did not even know where the stairs were and had to shout from the balcony down to reception to ask the question. I felt the whole experience was a disaster. We had paid £69 and I strongly feel that we should have a refund due to the conditions we suffered.

Staff were not helpful, especially at reception. We booked in at 6.15pm and enquired about something to eat and when we came down to restaurant at 7.30pm we were told restaurant fully booked until 9.30pm Spoke to Manager who was unhelpful. We asked for room service and were told only menu available was room service and they could not accommodate the restaurant menu to the rooms. When we ordered fish and chips to our room we were told it would take 40 minutes. Received a phone call ten minutes later say fish was finished. We then ordered burger and chips, chocolate fudge cake and creme brulee . Chips were burnt and the creme brulee came with sugar on top but not caramelised. I would not recommend this hotel is you are looking for pleasant staff and good service. They have the monopoly in the area. We were given the excuse that they were extremely busy due to the snow but my argument is if run a hotel whether it is busy or not you have to have the staff and food to facilitate the demand. A little smile would go a long way to from the staff!!! Just typical of ni, we have alot to learn. I stayed in London the weekend before and what a difference, no comparison, they know how to treat the public!!!!

Was exactly what it said on the tin. A perfectly comfortable airport hotel. What more can I say? I run a B&B and we provide free internet in our rooms. In this much more expensive hotel I had to pay for it. Why? It seemed mean.
