Very happy people
Everything was great, I'm not a big fan of hotels generally but this is one of the places that I'd definitely go back to if I needed to stay in Sale. It makes you feel at home, the staff is so friendly and the breakfast is great, the room is clean, warm and cozy. It's the little touches as where they place the towels and having a cup to put your toothbrush that makes you feel at home.
When I arrived the car park was full but the owner offer space in his private back yard overnight and even moved my car into the hotel car park whilst I had breakfast. That's what I call "going the extra mile".
Everything was excellent
Couldn't fault anything. Breakfast for good. Will defiantly be back next time we go to Manchester
Warm welcome, comfortable beds, prompt service, excellent value for money. Would use again anytime.
There was nothing to dislike
Very friendly and good position . Lovely breakfast staff are so lovely
All was good
Spacious single room, nicely decorated. Good bathroom. Shower a bit low but working well. Excellent breakfast. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance.
No private car park so parking, although possible in the surrounding streets outside of business hours, is not always straightforward. Unresponsive TV remote control.
The hospitality of the staff was first rate. They made you feel more like you are friends staying over for the night rather than just a paying customer
Nothing of note
Couldn't fault the place....lovely warm and welcoming family run business with a personal touch and a natural high standard of hospitality. Would definitely return again.
Bed's a little soft for my personal taste....that's all.
Stayed one night in room 16. Warm welcome, parking ,nice room, huge bathroom, excellent breakfast.Nice bed, freeview TV. The tram to city centre 2 minutes walk.So what was wrong you may ask...
well, if I would have known I will have the main boiler room in my bathroom I would not have accepted the room.As the pressure pump is there,so every guest who uses the shower will cause the pump to work.So that's what happened at 04:30 when the guests in one of the rooms checked out and had shower. And again at 07:30 Sunday morning...So in fact had a bad stay.If I would have had. Another room, without any extras, all might have been better. Also the strange one knob tap with pre configured warm water in the shower was a bit strange....Cant make it colder nor warmer.
hard pressed to find anything wrong with this hotel
Good reception and a very clean room. Excellent breakfast.
Being really picky the TV was not very big. I would certainly stay here again, so what more can I say?
Very friendly staff who were very flexible and helpful with my very late arrival. Great value, easy to get to Manchester, top generous brekki and all round very positive experience.
Friendly helpful staff
Having to pay on arrival
Available Parking. Adequate Breakfast. Waiting on staff was attentive and helpful.
Because, it seems, the plumbing was running through the room, behind the wardrobe, everytime there was a demand for water there was a very loud "droning" noise like an industrial vacumn cleaner. At 1 am in the morning, this was not appreciated when trying to sleep. The next morning, when using the shower, the water stopped completely for five minutes, leaving a bemused "soaped" guest, unsure of his next move!
Staff were really nice, the breakfast was great, lots to choose from and very well set out, and the rooms were really clean and comfortable. Best value for money hotel I've been to for sure!
Staff, location, food
Ideal hotel would stay again
Excellent location; the friendliest hotel staff; clean, comfortable room; vegetarian full English breakfast; faultless!
The bedding bed and bathroom. It was really the cleanest I have been in. The breakfast is the nicest we have eaten as well. The only problem is that it is a little gem but is very well know.
The staff are excellent. My room was fairly basic - but good value for the price I paid. I felt a little insecure about the lock on the door to the room - not a double lock - just one turn of the key. Breakfast was hearty. Friendly service was outstanding. The tram is less than 5 minutes away - so everywhere in Manchester is just a short walk away. A very good value stay - and well worth considering if you don't want a big hotel.
Friendly staff. Comfortable homely rooms and ideal location. Only a short few minutes walk into the centre for a good choice of restaurants and bars. Would certainly return.
From walking in the front door to departure was a pleasurable experience, clean and tidy with friendly proprietors
