Very clean. Friendly staff. Efficient service. Very good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Given a key to the front door for any late night return. Thought had been put into where I was put (noisy concert goers put together elsewhere) The 3rd time I have stayed there. These remarks are very minor 'didnt likes'. This last time I was in the attic, the weather was warm and the room started by being very hot. It cooled overnight so was fine overall. The shower was basic but worked and the lavatory had a macerater so it was noisy but again worked. No shower cap in the shower cap carton but I didn't ask for another. I'm sure one would have been supplied if I'd asked.

Friendly and kind staff Free coffee, tea and biscuits in your room Breakfast, not exceptional but fresh and big enough The beds were pretty small for an adult and the temperature of the room was not as high as I would have liked

I liked everything, it is a friendly, clean & comfortable establishment. The breakfast sets you up for the day. I have stayed in many establishments in the Manchester area. By far the best I have used.

- Amazingly friendly staff! - Where to begin? There is absolutely no way this is a 4 star establishment! And how on earth did they receive a 9 star rating on booking.com? 1. The single rooms are the size of a coffin. 2. The mattresses are cheap and uncomfortable. 3. No way to control hot/cold water in the shower! You only get scalding hot water! 4. No bottled water in the entire establishment, so unless you are fond of British tap water, you better buy some beforehand.

Friendly welcome and efficient friendly staff, old world charm and atmosphere, good food. A free transfer to and from the Airport was just another of the many things that made this a charming place to stay. Although you are only a few hundred yards from a busy Airport you can get the impression that you are in the Countryside. One slight problem where the shower head was large and the shower powerful so it seemed impossible to have a shower without water splashing on to Bathroom floor.

Comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Friendly, helpful proprietors and staff. Full breakfast included, making them better value (and much nicer) than PremierTravelDoodah. Reasonable selection of restaurants within close walking distance. Close enough to Manchester city centre for our needs, but without the noise and crowding (only a short walk to the Metro station). Nothing.
