Good value clean hotel nice breakfast
Could not connect to wi fi
The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was nice. The food in the restaurant was delicious.
We were at the back of the hotel. At about 11.30pm someone decided it was a good time to empty the bins. The noise disturbed out sleep. Then a huge fan somewhere near out room kept coming on and gong off. The heat in the room was stifling even after we had turned the radiators off. We stayed at the hotel as my husband had to be at the airport for 6 am. We thought it would be more relaxed if we didn't have a 60 mile journey to the airport. As it was; we wished we had stayed at home.
Proximity to manchester airport.
Bed linen left me itching and I couldn't connect to the WiFi in the room. I waited 40mins to get another drink, this was however provided free of charge, and was not impressed with the quality of the food.
The people I was with..the food was good and restaurant staff nice.
needs updating, hairs left in Bath and in bedroom, bathroom to small no room to move around, dust on cupboards and bedside tables only 2 teabags given in room.
We chose this hotel as it was close to Manchester Airport, which was only a 10 minute drive away. Dinner was only £10 per person for 3 courses, the food was good. Staff were nice and the room was clean, comfortable and we overall enjoyed our stay.
You get access to the "Spa Facilities", which weren't amazing.. we were there on a Sunday night, expecting it to be quiet however there were children's swimming lessons going on at the time, which was hardly relaxing. The pool was small, I wouldn't have minded so much if they hadn't had made it look so good in the pictures!
What we saw was very nice, we didn't have chance to enjoy it the
Not the hotel's fault at all, but we were really looking forward to spending some time in the spa in the evening. The snowy weather delayed us so we arrived after the spa and restaurant closed. Had to eat in the bar with a very shrill hen party!
Large room Location
Breckfast was average. Much better in the hull hotel. Fresh not dried out under the heater. Room was cold.
very business like
strangely has only single glazing despite being modern in other facilities- and it is near road and airport
Tempreture at least 100 degrees so hot we could not sleep
Swimming pool good, breakfast good
Bathroom very small, paint peeling on bedroom walls
Cups in room weren't clean
The leisure facility.
Initial cold reception.
The after care of the hotel general manager following a complaint where, without quibble refunded the full cost of our stay including our dinner. The facilities are good and my wife and I enjoyed a facial massage prior to enjoying a pleasant dinner. We were staying the one night prior to jetting off for a pre Xmas break to Budapest. The location of the hotel is perfect for Machester airport, hence the reason for booking. We needed to be at the airport for 06.30. At 05.30 when the alarm went off we were greeted with absolute darkness.... There was a power cut to the hotel! I went into the corridor and met up with a hotel employee with a Torch who informed me that the power would be restored by 06.00am. By 06.30am (the time we were due at the airport), the power was still not on. As a result we had to pack and get ready in absolute darkness. This was a complete nightmare for my wife as she had to go to the airport without doing her hair or putting on her makeup. When checking out of the hotel we informed the night porter that we were obviously unhappy and that we wanted to speak to the manager of the hotel prior to any money being deducted from our credit card. On the 31st December the hotel deducted the full amount! I complained bitterly to the general manager via telephone the following day and without any argument refunded the full amount of our stay. I believe this is excellent aftersales and as a result am happy to give a good review of the hotel.
Room service fast, freshly cooked and tasted good
Middle of winter and room too hot to sleep in. Aircon sounded like a jet engine. Couldn't sleep
The rooms were clean and modern. There was the option of room service which I didn't use. I was overlooking the car park and didn't get disturbed by any noise at all.
There's really nothing to dislike about this hotel. It's clean, offers free parking, isn't really expensive , and it's easy access to motorways (m56, m60)
Good clean rooms Nice staff Decent breakfast
Rooms can be very warm and cannot be controlled in the room itself.
The staff are welcoming, room standards are high
We ordered room service there was no value for money the food came cold and in edible, if I stayed again I most certainly would eat out.
They had issues with power and heating they were both intermittent in the rooms and corridors ! Apparently this has been ongoing for weeks and we also heard that other guests had been moved to a close by hotel and they paid the difference. They have electric blow heaters in the rooms ! Whole place is a bit down at heel.
Perfect location for my visit and offered all that I needed.
Room was so hot in the middle of December that we had to sleep with the window fully open even with the radiator off. Also requested a travel cot for our baby prior to arrival, and upon arrival but had to wait until 9 for a travel cot for 8mo. Worst hotel experience of my life
The staff were very helpful , efficient , and just nice people.
The Car Park has a sort of dirty gravel , not good for the car.
staff very helpful. Staff also helped take my kit to the conference room, which saved lots of time , very helpful. Nice sized room.
The power outage, a member of staff knocking on the door to let us know the power was out, staff in reception that thought it was funny that the power was out. Uncomfortable bed, the fact that drinks were charged to my room that we did not order. No apologies from reception when we left.
Room clean, bed comfortable
Couldn't get through to restsurant for room service order, left order with reception, hour later no food, called restaurant again, couldn't get through again. Called reception again, got different person, had to re-take my order, all very frustrating!
