Cheap and cheerful. Staff attentive and polite.

It was in agood location, close to the station and a short walk to city centre. It was clean and good value. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The cooked breakfast was all fried food, which I don't eat. There was only a bath no shower.

Great cheap place to stay right near the station. Ideal as my train left at 4:50 am!!

No lift...not good when I had a fairly big case with me.

The location is very good

It was a last-minute choice, so I didn`t expect much. The bathroom certainly needed renovating, and the door seemed very insecure.

Room was cozy with plenty of fresh towels staff very heplful even though we missed breakfast was made plenty of coffee toast+juice, left our luggage all day with no extra charge so we could do some shopping and sample the delights of chester's lovely sights. Would stay again

Dont know if hotel had a lift as my sister took the bags to the room as im not good with stairs, maybe do breakfast untill little later.

The bed room was clean but in need of a complete referb, the only good thing was the new stair carpet ,the velor chairs in the dining room were disgusting looked like people had used them as plates. I would recommend Chester to anyone but not this "hotel "

I have stayed in better b/bs at half the price,you would be lucky to get a one star.

The room was lovely and quiet - slept very well. It was kept clean. Although it was below zero outside, it was warm in my room, which was lovely. It was located very close to the station and I was able to leave my bags at reception on the last day.

There was a very weak WiFi signal in the room, from the hotel next door. The Belgrave WiFi signal was better on the ground floor apparently, but not on the second floor where I was.

No shower in room I was in though it did have a bath. Room was "well past its sell by date" and window did not close.

bad questionnaire. None of the 'while travelling you were...' options applied. I was travelling with business colleague. Re hotel - single rooms were very, very small. Central heating on too high. Corridors and rooms uncomfortably hot till about midnight, then woke up freezing at 4am because not enough bedclothes and no heating. By 7 am it was too hot again because heating back on full blast.

convenient,friendly staff, a proper bath not one you had have your knee under you chin,plenty HOT water.A tv with remote that matched TV and worked....Sheets not quilts...lovely......Heating just right..

my room on entering smelt musty but that soon passed..

the hotel is warm clean and comfy its what i look for when staying away from home

can't always get parked outside but you can get parked somewhere on the road near by this is just an observation not a criticism

I like the location and the staff could not do enough to help and they were very friendly. Also the breakfast was great value for money

I was bitten several times on the ankle whilst in the bathroom Then when i woke up in the morning I had been bitten on my arm I persume these were flee bites
