Right in the very heart of the city and with some limited secure parking, the Eaton Hotel is a great base for your visit to Chester.

Just 100 yards from Chester Train Station, the Westminster has free Wi-Fi and a contemporary bar and restaurant. A grand wood staircase and a stained glass window are features of the Best Western.

Badly on need of a face lift and rooms poorly lit
Staff were very friendly, room was lovely, would recommend.
There was not any good opinions I could give
It was not up to standard in
Location and value for money
You get what you pay for. Great location a short walk to the centre of Chester. However hotel is very tired and this is reflected in the price. The mattress springs were not! and the bedding was blanket rather than duvet! But for the price I would still use again.
Although not a luxury hotel, it provided an acceptable standard at a very reasonable price
Close to train station
Hotel smelt really bad no wifi really outdated room was very unclean especially the carpet and shower didn't work properly made me feel sick staying here couldn't bare it so left early hours in the morning paid less and had far better else where !
The staff on the bar were very helpful and friendly. He even gave us a heater for the room . Because of this gentleman and other customers in the bar we would go back again.
Our room was cold, the toilet was broken and the drains smelt and when we reported it we were offered another room but it wasn't as good as the one we were in so we declined it and was told they were trying to get a plumber out but he never appeared we had to go down two floors to use the facilities.
The Hotel was close to the rail station.
My room was small and shower & toilet were unheated breakfast was buffet style but same food was reused on different days it seemed to me.
A hotel clearly in need of modernisation but at £40 for a Saturday night in Chester city centre it really is well priced.
Uncomfortable single bed.
Near to train station Shortbdistance walk to city center n bus station
Radiater turn off by itself, felt very cold after midnight Is time to renovate the interior design n get new furniture
Could not get any hot water out of the shower, which also had very low pressure. The carpet in the room had not been vacuum cleaned for probably over half a year or so
Staff were lovely and friendly. Booked last minute and no problem. Good location
Decor is desperately out of date. There was no proper shower! Just a rubber tube from tap! its good value but there is no excuse not to have a shower! Not acceptable.
The staff were pleasant
The dirt on all surfaces, especially under the tea and coffee facilities. The toilet did not flush All furniture had been damaged Beds too thin No bath as advertised was offered, despite having taken the bath online. Please do not make the mistake to stay here .
A bed for the night, quiet room, cheap
poor shower, tired dated interior, no parking after 9am and before then only if you're lucky - get what you pay for I guess.
the bed was comfy and I would get wifi in my room ...
my room was cold even the radiator was on full. the bathroom was even colder and there was mold in the shower... the light over the mirror didn't, the staff gave me a lamp but it wasn't adequate
The location was very good
The shower was cold, the hotel is very run down and I don't think they have decorated since the smoking ban came in as everywhere smelled like musty old cigarettes. But it served a purpose for a night out in chester and was handy for bars, restaurants, train station and parking near by.
Very convenient for the station.Buses into City very near. About 10 mins walk into City.
The breakfast was good for the price. Coming home.
Damp musty room. Creaky floor boards. Small room and small bathroom, the wash hand basin was in the bedroom. We had to remove the cupboard draw to use hair dryer. Crafty window. No heating in bathroom. Lack of parking.
The hotel had heating yet my room up in what seemed to be the loft had no heating it's was the same temperature as outside and was freezing as it was mid December! spare blankets had wholes in it as tho a mouse had chewed it! the room had definitely not been Hoover and there were hairs in the sink! I wanted a cheap place to stay after a night out but wish I had not bothered as it was to cold to sleep and was dirty!
Close proximity to Chester railway station. Reasonable rate of £37.95 Left early so did not get breakfast. Reason for stay was to catch an early train from Chester station en route to Birmingham International to catch a flight to Spain.
Poor reception by Asian manager hotel badly lit with no other staff. Given tiny dirty single room with horrible shower and even found a pair of used men s underpants in the wardrobe, so insisted on an immediate change of room or a refund. Reluctantly given a twin bedded room which was cleaner but not of a good standard. When I complained manager remonstrated. Felt most unsafe in this hotel and not stay here again.
The location was spot on, The freindly bar was good
The room, the decoration of the room was really dated, the carpet in the room was dirty and smelled musty, the tea/coffee facility was disgusting,
Staff very friendly and pleasant
Bathroom was pretty grotty and stank of cigarettes. Someone had been smoking in there. Room was clean enough but decor and carpet very tired and stained. I appreciate its a budget hotel but even budget hotels need maintaining.
Cheap Close to the train station Clean Friendly staff Breakfast was nice
Decor needs updating Bathroom was tiny Bit noisy could hear the work men early morning
