They were happy to provide breakfast an hour earlier than the stated time.
I couldn't get connected to the WiFi even though my electronics were showing picking up the signal. Additionally the room was a bit cold.
Cold cooked breakfast on first day as hot plate wasn't switched on. A waste of food! Pillow cases and sheets turned inside out. Why?
Can't really fault this hotel good location we were only staying for one night it was ideal
Location was handy for both the west end and town. Room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff member working on the 2 days we were there was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent - best hotel breakfast I have ever had. Great value for money, will definitely return and would recommend to anyone.
Wifi signal was low - perhaps because we were on the lower ground floor.
Good full scottish breakfast. Good car parking. Good public transport links with Central Glasgow. Good choice of restaurants within easy walking distance of hotel. Friendly hotel staff.
ROOM 7 Wash hand basin tap has very low water pressure. Shower tray drain is blocked. En suite door catches on carpet. Bedside lamp has loose bulb holder, potentially exposing bare terminal wires, highly dangerous. Television set has no remote control pad, making channel hopping very slow and laborious, in the process.
rooms were to small and to close to other rooms breakfast was rubbish not enough choice wil not be back
Location, ideal for nights out in Glasgow, close to underground. Onsite parking. Room was clean and spacious, comfortable bed.
Very rude and unhelpful staff. Light in bathroom didn't work and staff refused to fix it. Bathroom door didn't close properly. Bedroom door was difficult to lock. Breakfast cold and not freshly cooked.
Although we have booked with "late arrival" and according to the information check-in is possible until 8 p.m. nobody was at the hotel at 7 p.m, just a handwritten sticker with a mobile number to call to receive the "key code" to enter the house. We had to call again to find the hotel's parking place. Wifi was not working throughout our stay and a woman informed us that this is not her responsibility. We had to purchase internet time for 60 pounds we have deducted from what invoice.
On arriving I did not like That there was only the Front door to greet me I had to phone a number To unlock a safe to get my Key the car park at the back Is not very good for a people Carrier the guy on the phone Was helpful I had be at airport for7-30am so I got no Breakfast I had to leave the Money behind the desk So I got no receipt with me Not getting breakfast I Left £30 not £40 Your sincerely Peter Grassham. Breakfast was included and great. Overall value for money. Within easy walking distance to the University.
A few too many spider webs for my taste and wireless didn't work in my room. Almost no water pressure in the shower.
the road out
very small room, dirty, ragged and tired, very hard to find, sat nav gave up. rubber breakfast apart from that it was ok ( joke)
The situation Free parking Near lot of pubs and restaurants Near metro Near botanic gardens, Macintosch museum
Breakfast finish to earlier (9h)
I was there for the commonwealth games and was lucky to have found this hotel, because it was one of the few hotels that did not raise their prices like other hotels who totally ripped people off. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable and value for money. The staff was very friendly and made you welcome. Overall not bad at all.
Breakfast Comfortable room
When we arrived there was nobody. We had a note in the door, telling us that we had to call to receive the password to obtain the keys. Private parking was not indicated It's about 30min walking to Glasgow centre
Location Local Area Off Street Parking
Basement Room was cold and smelt of damp. Breakfast was lacklustre no attention paid to guests from what I could see.
Only saw one of the staff, she was extremely helpful and worked very hard. The premises were well placed for the City with buses, underground and a walk away from a selection of restaurants and the Botanical Gardens.
If you left going to breakfast late it could be lukewarm however the staff would cook some fresh up if asked and it was a 'bit of a squeeze'
Small tidy hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Few frills but clean and very good value. Excellent breakfast.
No real complaints. Breakfast bar can get congested but wasn't a big issue.
Brilliant location, close to several shops and restaurants and 2 minutes walk from the subway station. Despite this our room was quiet (top floor)
Breakfast room small, so we had to wait for a table to become free or share a table. Breakfast as a whole disappointing. We were down for 09.30ish when it's served until 10am but there was hardly any food left. Only bacon was replinished.
We booked this hotel for our short visit during the Conmonwealth Games. Two months after booking and just a few weeks before travelling, they cancelled our booking, saying they had double booked. By that time there were no other reasonably priced options left in the city. Can't recommend this hotel in case it happens again. Beware!
Well located, the staff were very helpful.
You can feel and hear the trains underneath no air conditioning.
WiFi was down but for upgrading the system so will improve.
Car park no signage.Inadequate dining area , breakfast times not customer friendly.Basement damp .Lights not working. No shampoo in dispenser. No working card payment system.
Loved the location which had plenty bars and restaurants nearby and easy access to town. People were friendly and everything I needed was in walking distance.
The Belgrave needs work doing on it because it has great potential. I didn't meet many staff only two I saw but one to talk to. I think staff work hard and the one I spoke to was nice. I wouldn't recommend only because I probably wouldn't stay here again.
The location of the hotel was perfect for seeing Glasgow, within easy walking distance to the subway. The staff were so friendly and helpful they couldn't of done more to improve our stay. The on site parking is a massive bonus!
