Location Local Area Off Street Parking
Basement Room was cold and smelt of damp. Breakfast was lacklustre no attention paid to guests from what I could see.
We booked this hotel for our short visit during the Conmonwealth Games. Two months after booking and just a few weeks before travelling, they cancelled our booking, saying they had double booked. By that time there were no other reasonably priced options left in the city. Can't recommend this hotel in case it happens again. Beware!
Well located, the staff were very helpful.
You can feel and hear the trains underneath no air conditioning.
WiFi was down but for upgrading the system so will improve.
Car park no signage.Inadequate dining area , breakfast times not customer friendly.Basement damp .Lights not working. No shampoo in dispenser. No working card payment system.
Loved the location which had plenty bars and restaurants nearby and easy access to town. People were friendly and everything I needed was in walking distance.
The Belgrave needs work doing on it because it has great potential. I didn't meet many staff only two I saw but one to talk to. I think staff work hard and the one I spoke to was nice. I wouldn't recommend only because I probably wouldn't stay here again.
The location of the hotel was perfect for seeing Glasgow, within easy walking distance to the subway. The staff were so friendly and helpful they couldn't of done more to improve our stay. The on site parking is a massive bonus!
Rooms were lovely. Locality near Kelvin Grove. Staff member was very helpful.
One way system near by. The coffee machine. Have shower gel in the bathroom.
The breakfast was excellent. Very filling. Some off street car parking available. Melissa was very friendly and helpful. Communication before checking in was really easy.
Good location for Kelvin Grove area but a bit of a walk if wanting to head into the city centre.
Staff (Melissa) was both helpful and friendly Breakfast was good Close to the subway Coffee, tea And biscuits in room (better than premier inn)
Broken floor tiles Broken shower door Broken bin lid Holes in the pillow cases
Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was of good quality.
Overall décor was tired despite having apparently been recently updated. General cleanliness of room and area outside window were poor. Stay was during Commonwealth Games time and like all establishments prices were elevated, but hard to justify price with level of facilities.
Great location, lovely staff, non-chain, has a kettle.
Bathroom facilities need a professional touch. Front rooms get quite a bit of street noise. Breakfast needs some variation and fix the coffee machine please!
No complaints. Even got 2 eggs with my breakfast. Lol
Location is a bit far out but there is a frequent bus service which stops across the road
easy going atmosphere;nice breakfast good parking
Ideal walking location for University & the West End
Location & convenient parking were great, and staff were extremely helpful.
The bed was too hard and the shower was a dribble both days. Did not like being in the basement.
Old dirty hostel ..
The welcome was pleasant, and the room smelled nice and fresh. It was quiet, and cleaned daily. The wifi, though unsecure, was fast. The location, for me, was excellent - really near GLasgow Uni, and smack in the middle of the West End.
I would have appreciated somewhere to hang my clothes, and I would've preferred the wifi to be secure. On the first night, I found a clump of long, black hair in the toilet, which I wasn't impressed with, and the bathroom in general could do with some cosmetic touch-ups, even though it was regularly cleaned and suited me fine (I think the plumbing was a little slow). I would've also liked the breakfast to be freshly cooked - I've paid less in BnBs and had this service.
The free Wi-Fi
The location and directions to find the place. The car parking facilities, the room, the view, the cleanliness of the so called hotel (Guest house).
Good Location, Clean Room, Parking
Condition - Aged interiors, Room size, Wifi signal really poor/slow
Room and breakfast was good in a great location for a great price, would definitely stay there again
No card payment or wifi facilities
