Location and price
The dated room, mould growing in bathroom!! Bed all lumpy!!
The staff were EXTREMELY helpful and easy going. They are there to help 24/7. Perfect location for my trip and the room was way bigger than I anticipated.
Smelt like urine, bedroom FILTHY, no power socket in bedroom, disgusting grimy bathrooms. It may be cheap, but it is absolutely disgusting.
good, clean little room, comfortable and nice staff. would definitely stay again
room too warm, couldn't turn down the heating
I liked that there was free wifi and that it worked well. Location was great and staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful.
Cleanliness of the hotel wasn't great. The carpets on the stairs were ripped. There was a stain on the ceiling of the room from a leak. Also the basin looked as it was used as a urinal. The shared bathroom was awful I only used it once. Used public toilets after that experience.
Handy location close to Victoria Station. Budget price - for London.
Peeling paint, worn carpets, needs re-wiring, in fact it needs a total refurb. Anywhere other than London and you would stay somewhere much nicer for the same price.
Receptionist friendly, hotel reception clean/bright and welcoming. Room was clean and had a shower and sink just the toilet in hall was shared. Could leave luggage safely during day after checkout and collect later before my train.
Street was a bit noisy at night which woke me up, shared toilet quite cramped, carpets in hall needing renovated but were clean. Also had to pay £5 deposit for a TV remote but didn't need to use TV anyway.
The location and wifi. The staff was very helpfull!
My room had some spyder nets in the corner that could hide a tarantula! The bathroom was like it passed the katrina storm. Dirty and everything was broken: the walls, the lavoar, the remaing floor tiles, the door... There was a shower cabin in my room, filled with green mould. The furniture was old and worn out.
Free Wi-fi GREAT breakfast -- you wont find better for £2.50 a head anywhere in London Friendly and accomodating staff Room cleaned daily
Everything was GREAT -- it's not the Ritz, but you're not paying Ritz prices, and in many hotels you get charged 20 pounds a night for wi-fi that doesnt anyway always reach the top floors anyway
Cleanliness of the bathroom Condition of the toilet Noise Disturbance Lack of hair dryer, and drink making facilities.
Bathroom was poor
location, clean room and bathroom, helpful staff, possibility to store luggage on the day of checking out
it would be better to have private bathroom, not private kitchen:)
staff were very helpful and friendly. location was great, near bus and tube station
i love the location
we were near the tube and coach stations, easy for west end, and shopping in Knightsbridge,
Steep stairway to dining room, and other bedrooms,
The location is great Staff are very friendly
Bathroom was a disappointment The room really needs painting
Standard of decor Facilities Breakfast
The worst hotel I have never been
It is near Victoria station.
Wifi is expected to be improved(boosted up). Because the wifi of the pubs and coffee shops near the hotel is more easily connected.
They let us leave our luggage at the reception after our check out for a few hours. Really helpful people :)
Shower and toilet not working.
Not a lot, really, I'm sorry to say. Only the location I'd say. Not like when I stayed for one night in July and rated it quite highly - there being not only tea-making facilities in the room, but a cooker, fridge, china & cutlery! But I was never told that it was a studio room
What a surprise then, when I saw no kettle etc in my room this time and had to ask at the desk, only to be told, oh we don't have kettles in the rooms (I was gobsmacked, having come to expect that as the norm in all hotels) Apparently I'd had a studio room last visit, which ARE supplied with tea & coffee making facilities. Eventually I was given a kettle, but that episode rather upset me - it was embarrassing. Next, the cleanliness------ the whole place was tacky, to put it kindly, dreadful dirty/torn stair carpets, the shared shower had its own agenda - I did manage to get it to work eventually as I quite enjoy a challenge.......My room was grubby, torn lino on the floor, stains on the chair.... The bed was comfortable enough though - and the area was very quiet at night. The staff were pleasant, but I think it should be made clear that the rooms have no tea making facilities when making a booking!!
Staff was very friendly, location is great and find hotel for that cheap price in this location is almost a miracle!!!
Old carpets, a bit dirty and with holes and i think in general hotel needs redecoration
Location and price
The washroom is horrible. Have to climb up the stairs with heavy luggage .
Bad conditions of room and bathroom. Rank smells. Needed to get air freshener to maintain some modicum of comfort
