Handy location close to Victoria Station. Budget price - for London.
Peeling paint, worn carpets, needs re-wiring, in fact it needs a total refurb. Anywhere other than London and you would stay somewhere much nicer for the same price.
The location and wifi. The staff was very helpfull!
My room had some spyder nets in the corner that could hide a tarantula! The bathroom was like it passed the katrina storm. Dirty and everything was broken: the walls, the lavoar, the remaing floor tiles, the door... There was a shower cabin in my room, filled with green mould. The furniture was old and worn out.
Cleanliness of the bathroom Condition of the toilet Noise Disturbance Lack of hair dryer, and drink making facilities.
Bathroom was poor
location, clean room and bathroom, helpful staff, possibility to store luggage on the day of checking out
it would be better to have private bathroom, not private kitchen:)
staff were very helpful and friendly. location was great, near bus and tube station
i love the location
we were near the tube and coach stations, easy for west end, and shopping in Knightsbridge,
Steep stairway to dining room, and other bedrooms,
The location is great Staff are very friendly
Bathroom was a disappointment The room really needs painting
Standard of decor Facilities Breakfast
The worst hotel I have never been
It is near Victoria station.
Wifi is expected to be improved(boosted up). Because the wifi of the pubs and coffee shops near the hotel is more easily connected.
They let us leave our luggage at the reception after our check out for a few hours. Really helpful people :)
Shower and toilet not working.
Not a lot, really, I'm sorry to say. Only the location I'd say. Not like when I stayed for one night in July and rated it quite highly - there being not only tea-making facilities in the room, but a cooker, fridge, china & cutlery! But I was never told that it was a studio room
What a surprise then, when I saw no kettle etc in my room this time and had to ask at the desk, only to be told, oh we don't have kettles in the rooms (I was gobsmacked, having come to expect that as the norm in all hotels) Apparently I'd had a studio room last visit, which ARE supplied with tea & coffee making facilities. Eventually I was given a kettle, but that episode rather upset me - it was embarrassing. Next, the cleanliness------ the whole place was tacky, to put it kindly, dreadful dirty/torn stair carpets, the shared shower had its own agenda - I did manage to get it to work eventually as I quite enjoy a challenge.......My room was grubby, torn lino on the floor, stains on the chair.... The bed was comfortable enough though - and the area was very quiet at night. The staff were pleasant, but I think it should be made clear that the rooms have no tea making facilities when making a booking!!
Staff was very friendly, location is great and find hotel for that cheap price in this location is almost a miracle!!!
Old carpets, a bit dirty and with holes and i think in general hotel needs redecoration
Location and price
The washroom is horrible. Have to climb up the stairs with heavy luggage .
Bad conditions of room and bathroom. Rank smells. Needed to get air freshener to maintain some modicum of comfort
Close proximity to Cictoria train station but you can't hear it. Fair sized TV. Would have been better if tea and coffe facilities in room not downstairs in lobby.
Travel cot was broken and they weren't prepared for our arrival despite saying we would arrive at 6. Also stated twice on my booking I had a baby and they still weren't aware when I got there.
It is really close of Victoria station. The facilities are good bearing in mind the price and the location. It's clean and you have a continental breakfast (buffet) for only 2,5 pounds.
Wifi sometimes is too busy and it's a bit slow. If you're traveling with a big lugage stairs can become a nightmare.
shower comfortable bed ease of access quality of television
no kettle in room holes in carpet - dangerous no bedside cabinet no bedside or over bed light no radio available on tv
good location where is near the Victoria station
bad smell in the room, the quality of the bed is very poor
Good location, comfortable room. When booking I knew it was a shared bathroom so I ws pleasantly surprised to find an adjoining toilet and sink in the room. TV and wi-fi. Grateful for the laminate floors as opposed to the grotty carpets that were in the hallway.
Carpet in hallways were dirty and in general the common areas were dark and dingy. Bathroom was in the middle of upgrade so wasn't quite finished.
Nice size bed and bathroom, courteously provided hangers for the wardrobe, good place for a family to stay with the kitchen appliances provided.
The staircase was dated and felt weak and doors very heavy and would slam if not closed gently.
Excellent location. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. En suite facilities.
Shabby carpets and old and worn decor but it's a budget hotel!
