This small, family-run hotel has great sea views and a seafront location at the north end of the Promenade. Queensbridge Hotel is known for its comfort and good, friendly service.

Score from 486 reviews Very good
We loved our "family room" up on the top floor of the hotel. A terrific view over the waterfront promenade, waves crashing, and a cozy, comfortable room for 3 of us (best for short people, with the dormers and lower ceiling). Great wifi, delicious plentiful breakfast, comfy sheets & bed!
The space in front of the sink was only for short people with the low roof, but the shower was full height.
The room was beautiful. Wonderful sea view Very comfortable bed Clean room apart from the shades Ensuite very clean
Dusty lamp shades to ceiling light Crack to handbasin Very small ensuite Dining room in basement/no sea view
It was my 2nd stay so felt homely.Staff were friendly . Excellent location.Could hear the sea.
Parking was difficult. No mobile phone coverage from bedroom. No bedside reading lamps
Nothing got moved to other hotel checked in and checked out with in half hour
Staff were welcoming and breakfast was excellent
Location, sound of waves, friendly staff, decent breakfast, relaxed aura in comparison to other hotels
Lack of daytime parking!!! Solution was to park a few roads up, unless you are only there for night (6pm to 9am)
Breakfast was excellent - definitely.
Distinct lack of space, bathroom was particularly cramped
size of room
Bit cramped having breakfast,small room
The breakfast was grate.
My room was the last so I had to climb up 48 steps!!!
I had read previous reviews, some of which were quite negative, so approached the place with caution. I am pleased to say we were pleasantly surprise at how nice it turned out to be. We stayed in room no 1 which had lovely sea views. It was very spacious, had a variety of complimentary drinks and lovely ensuite bathroom. Ideally situated for the shops and pier. It was enjoyable to sit and watch the world go by! It had a lovely lounge and bar area if you wanted a drink and friendly staff.
The breakfast was self service and the food was very nice. The only down side is that the downstairs breakfast room was very small and we found it difficult to eat in comfort and a little claustrophobic especially when other guests were eating at the same time. Its a shame really because it lets down what is otherwise a very nice establishment.
The location is excellent provided you like the noise of the waves which I do. Room was clean & comfortable & the breakfast was tasty with quite a choice.
There are a lot of steps to all rooms except one which could be a problem for some people. The bathroom is VERY compact. Some facilities mentioned were not actually at this hotel but their sister one.
Excellent location, hearty breakfast.
WIFI stopped working in the morning, no one to ask to reset it. Would have preferred to have had a choice on cooked breakfast rather than majority meat-based selection on a bar.
Location, I had a sea view room
Having to check out at 11am, I wanted to stay longer.
Clean rooms. Nice views of seafront
Unwelcoming reception, I booked a disabled room. Cramped, difficulties entering toilet/shower about 10 inches between bed and toilet door, entering the room was difficult due to the double doors, not for the disabled. noisy, PAT testing 2 years out of date (unlawful I will be contacting local authorities). did not have breakfast as I was made to feel unwelcome when I complained about the room. The hotel could be dangerous due to un tested electrical equipment. over expensive for the room size. Don't go there if you want a good time. Avoid room 10 you can hear footsteps on the pavement outside and hear every word spoken in the reception area and bar.
SERVICE BRILL COULD NOT FALTER BEDROOM GREAT BREAKFAST BRILLIANT OVERALL GOOD VISIT WILL RETURN
BATHROOM DECOR NOT TOO LITTLE DELAPILATED OVERALL BOILER FLAME BLOWN OUT BY WIND SO NO HOT WATER BUT FIXED QUICKLY
Location, on the sea front. Ideal for overnight stay for visiting University
Fine place to stay for a short business trip. Very pleasant staff, clean (if small) room.
Annoying noise of extract fan/air-conditioning in the room...
We enjoyed the location and were fortunate to have a large sea view room. The choice at breakfast was good value and well presented.
This should not be advertised as a boutique hotel, as described in the hotel's own brochure. It is tired , needs refurbishing, double glazing to combat the condensation on bedroom windows. The dining room is far too small and cannot cope with the number of guests. There are too many small bedrooms crammed into the house, a shame, it spoils the general feel.
We liked the location of the hotel and the size of the room, the room was clean and fresh bedding and clean towels. Lovely view from our room. The breakfast was lovely.
The room we paid for was a deluxe, we got in the room and it had 2 single beds, I went to reception and the woman apologised and advised she would call housekeeping. We were going out for a walk and she advised us there was noone until tomorrow, or if it mattered she would do it, but it was said with reluctance. It was a present for my boyfriends birthday, of course we wanted the kingsize bed. It was done for us, but as it was 2 singles zipped together the centre of the bed was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was totally unacceptable, you burnt yourself on the radiator and has to be a contortionist to be able to do anything in the bathroom. The breakfast room was very small and some customers had to eat upstairs in the bar.
Location and good breakfast
Room had everything you needed but had no extra space around bed etc. Bathroom was ridiculously small, if you were a large person you wouldn't fit in! Dining room was below ground level and again was too cramped. Pity, as property had been refurbished very nicely and location was excellent.
Plenty of tea and coffee available. Good choice of menu. Waiting staff very pleasant and efficient.
60 stairs Shelf above sink in bathroom needs taking off kept banging my head on it!
Bed very comfy Room a good size Breakfast good
Our shower didn't work. However the breakfast staff offered us the use of another room (no one was at reception until 10am which would have been very awkward)
Lovely helpful staff and accommodIng.
The room was in the basement - no outlook. Too close to kitchen and restaurant.
