Score from 2279 reviews Good
very close to King's Cross, good breakfast, hot water
very small room and bathroom, old building
Fantastic location for transport.
Holes in floors, cheap metal framed tiny beds on wheels. No lock on bathroom door, no lightshades. Kettle filled with brown sludge. No water to taps or shower, and toilet wouldn't flush, complained but no real response just that they were apparently cleaning the tanks.
great location for train stations friendly staff would use this hotel again
Did the buisness as usual
The price and location were excellent and the room was clean enough.
The hotel was, overall, rather tired and shabby. Our wardrobe was very unstable and we had bare light bulbs hanging from the ceiling in our room. There were no controls for the heat in our room and it was very cold the first night.
In a good location , helpful friendly staff
The rooms we stayed in were not as clean as expected for a hotel , we outdated decor and both rooms were poorly heated
There was no noise I had a good sleep.
The price mainly- £55 for a double room with breakfast-can't really fault it. The room was basic but clean and the breakfast was fine. Pleasantly surprised by the showers. Staff we friendly when I rang up to confirm and when we arrived. A stones throw away from st Pancras/ Kings cross.
Room was v basic-but for the price I can't complain.
It's price was low. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was at a prime spot in the city.
The shower chamber was small and did not have enough space. The shower tap was not good. There was water in the kettle and I did not know if it was left in the kettle by the guests that had the room before me.
Well located, includes brekkie and has free Wi-Fi (a bit slow but OK for email & browsing). Helpful staff, realising we had a fair bit of luggage changed our rooms from the top floor to 1st & ground floors so that we didn't have to lug it up all the stairs as there's no lift.
Almost non-existent hot water until morning and then very limited water pressure and narrow stream if there was room, you'd have to run around to get completely wet. Tight room for 2 people with luggage. Our room had the benefit of toilet outlet plumbing passing by our window and flushed fluid sounds thru the night from that pipe and the other piping (in the ceiling?). Minimum maintenance has been carried out as there were dead lights, a toilet bowl not properly affixed to the floor and various other issues. Our bed had dug into the obviously soft (& bouncy) floor to a depth of about 2 cm. The shower cubicle in one of our rooms had zero ventilation and the other was the 2nd smallest I've ever used in my life. One room had a window that while it could be opened, was not able to be kept open as the window counterweight was obviously not in attendance.
everything fine as reguards location and cleanliness and staff
there was no heating on in room until late evening and by 7-30 next morning it had gone off and was a very chilly wake up
Water noise radiators toilet flush noise long period of time.
Staff friendly and helpful. Room only small but perfectly adequate. Very good breakfast.
Price and location
Small rooms, broken and dirty furniture complete with someone's underware left in the draw. No working tv, no tea bags, whitener not milk, poor shower facilities. Breakfast room too small no where to sit and breakfast was poor quality. Pay a bit more and stay elsewhere
Nothing. Its badly run and needs an urgent reform. Owners need to do something and fast. Its an insult to London and Londoners
The bedding was filthy. The shower and toilet were like out houses. The breakfast was sloppy and serving staff rude and disinterested. I think the whole hotel is a health hazard. Not worth more than 15 pound a night. A shocking experience!!!!!
Although the single room was very compact, it had everything I needed and was clean and well-heated. The staff were helpful and the breakfast good.
Very good location, five minute walk to St Pancras subway station and King Cross metro stations is just across the road. Breakfast Place is very warm and cosy, wholemeal bread bake hot and constantly top up,hot coffee serve on the spot which can really make your morning fresh.
Shower Area is really too small.
3min walk to St Pancras If you are traveling on the euro early then it's worth the overnight stay
Very dated interior Very basic facilities
Locality - we needed to be close to Kings Cross Rly Station for an early start next morning. Cleanliness - seems to be kept very clean. Bedding very well laundered and very clean. Asked for more pillows, and they arrived whilst we were out. Breakfast - quality of ingredients appears to be very good. Plenty of choice. Good.
No lift - and we were on the 3rd floor, but not too much of a problem. Small room, but adequate. We had everything we needed, even though we kept tripping over the end of the bed. We had to ask for more coffee sachets as only 1 in the room for 2 people. They arrived whilst we were out seeing the sights.
Friendly staff, very convenient location, clean, very good value, breakfast included, everything I needed in the room.
close to St Pancras, safe, clean, quiet
I was delighted because smelly chemicals like air fresheners, strong- smelling soaps, fabric conditioner on sheets & sometimes chemicals from carpets give me a migraine. I asked for there to be no air fresheners when I booked and there were none. The place, including the bedding were spotlessly clean and there were no strong smells and no carpet in the room. The bed was very comfortable too, the staff were polite and the breakfast was just right so it was perfect for me. I will recommend it to other people with multi chemical sensitivity.
There was nothing I didn't like.
24 hour Reception Room had little easy to use flat screen TV Really good breakfast Basic but cheap
Bed seemed smaller than double & was rickety Needs update/ facelift ie) toilet was full of brown limescale Felt bit 'Smokey'
Optimal positioning, the staff was ok as well as the room.
The heating was turned on and there was no way to turn it back off, resulting in us boiling in our room all night.
It was clean enough and a good location.
Bathroom was too small, no milk in room.
