Convenience to Kings Cross station. The single room was adequatefor my purpose of being close to the main line station. The breakfast was plain English fare but good quality and buffet style enabled one to take as much as you wanted. The single room is very small and difficult for a large person to use the toilet The TV did not work well. |

Proximity to St. Pancras train station. New flooring in the room and room clean. Room very smallthus difficult with luggage, though I suppose enough for 3 nights stay. However, poor possibility for hanging things (especially towel!), in the "wardrobe" the hangers only have space if pushed sideways thus not easy. Lack of hot (or even warm) water in the shower, I believe tepid water´s not enough even in a cheaper type hotel. Breakfast not that good, though stuff tried to serve quickly everything. Rooms as such quiet (given the location, no outside noice) but walls between rooms super thin especially when neighbours very noisy as I experienced my last night. |

The location was excellent for major rail stations, few minutes walk from Euston. Comfortable bed. Room was very small, though had the basics. Main problem was the stench coming from the toilet, which was like sleeping next to a sewer. Steep stairs to room and no one to offer any help. |

I enjoyed very much my stay at Belgrove, the hotel staff was always friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect for those who wants to discover the city, it is easy to go walking in a couple of minutes to the subway, from there you can easy get all connections. I was surprised that it is so quiet in the morning to sleep although the location is in the near from a busy street. I was during one week there, and I felt safe and comfortable. Thank you for the good service and I will come back for sure. Everything was fine for the rate I've payed, I was glad. |

I think apart from being basic the staff was great. We had friends meeting us from the Midlands and there was no area for sitting down or proper lounge area. showers could do with an upgrade |

Very close to Kings Cross Station and all transport connections. Possible to walk to many attractions from here. Staff were vey severe. I learned on my first day that father had had a heart attack and I had to cut my trip short by 2 days. I informed the night receptionist, a fairly scary fellow of this fact and he told me to take it up with the day receptionist the next day. I was clealy upset and receptionist next day was not very concerned or helpful re refund of my second two nights. She told me I had given insufficient notice, yet I had informed the hotel the night before. I was not prepared to argue, I just needed to get to the hosptal to see my dad. Fortunately he is now fairly stable. Perhaps Booking . com could arrange refund of the 2 nights that I did not stay? |

I had a warm breakfast every morning. The hotel was quiet. I did not like the fact the there is no lift in the hotel, I had very heavy luggage to carry up to three flights of stairs. |

it was extremely conveniant for the train station and underground. the room was adaquate for what we wanted and there was plenty of room. the dining room was small and we had to wait for food to be cooked then the cook was very rude by telling us to hurry up and get out as there wasnt enough tables and others may be waiting. it turned out no one was waiting and she was very agressive in her mannor. |

The location was good. We were put in a 'double' room where 2 people could not be standing in the room at the same time. Because the room was so small it was so hot (even though the heating was not on) that we slept with only a sheet in the middle of November.Bathroom and shower were really old. Not value for money at all. |

Room was small, but adequate, with effectively a wet room for the en-suite shower room. However, the hotel is well sited, over the road from St. Pancras station, and served the needs. Room was very hot, even with the window wide open |

It was convenient for St Pancras International and they let us leave our luggage in the room early Size of triple room. Toilet you could hardly get into and a shower in a cupboard |

I only liked that it was close to the train station, and it was clean as well. The shower was inside a "wardrobe", beds were so unconfortable, and rooms so small. |

Excellent value for money. We just wanted a convenient, cheap bed for the night. Our room, although small had all the basic amenities we required. Exceeded expectations. |

24 hour reception. The hotel room was warm (see dislikes). The (mostly Eastern European?) staff were, on the whole, fairly courteous (although I certainly wouldn't go so far as to say "friendly") - particularly the kitchen staff and the receptionist who checked me in on my first night (the daytime receptionists were less so). The (tiny) hotel room was so warm that I had to sleep with the window wide open, so noise from a nearby flue kept me awake for much of the first night of my two-night stay (by the second night I was so tired I could have slept through a bomb blast - which was just as well given that the Belgrove is situated so near to Kings Cross station). Weak orange squash, not fruit juice (concentrated or otherwise) for breakfast. Ketchup six months past its "use by" date. Hotel decor (carpets, wallpaper etc.) must date back to the fifties (and I'm not talking about the 1950's). Shower in the en-suite bathroom was no more than a dribble. Tv reception was awful. Rates were extorionate for such a no-frills hotel - and I mean no frills. |

closeness to public transport the bathroom shower is absolutely disgraceful. how on earth the designer or builder expected an average size person to have a shower in there beats me. if the soap falls on the ground it is not possible to be able to bend to pick it up. I know a few people cant fit and I am baffled as to how planning permission was obtained to run that place as a public entity. Carpet in the corridor is dinghy. |

Was greeted by a young, attractive Bulgarian lady; room was en-suite though I thought I'd be sharing the shower facilities; great location; of course, the full Englidh breakfast. Even the male staff member, who's using quite grumpy, wasn't too bad this time. |
