Location was ideal for my business trip, however that was the only positive I could say. The hotel was dirty, shabby and a complete hole! I decided to book a different hotel for my last night as I couldnt stand it any longer!

Nothing it's very bad hotel and I don't advise anyone to go to it because it's a waste of money. The location is the only good thing about because it's only 2 mins away from kings cross station. The room too small, not clean, the bed very noisy, the service very bad, everything was bad

It was quiet - very low traffic noise, which was surprising given it is so close to St Pancras and Kings Cross Stations. The room was spotlessly clean and was well cleaned when I was out (stayed 2 nights). Location was perfect for the venue that I was working at nearby. PIctures on the internet site fooled me as it gave expectations that were not met by poky dark narrow corridors and tiny landings that it was a squeeze to move my case through but given the low price for central London, I should have known better! Room was tiny. TV did not work properly first night, but did the second. Water was cut off at 730 am but fortunately I had already used the bathroom. Map of fire escape route not available either in my room or anywhere in the landings hallways or stairs that I could find. Place felt like a rabbit warren shaped fire-trap even though the Fire alarm and fire door were adjacent to my room landing.

Leaving The rooms are an absolute disgrace; can't believe they charge £75 a night when they haven't even bothered to give the place a lick of paint in about 10 years. Marks all over the walls, smelly, rickety bed and furniture, noisy pipes, ice cold shower; this place is a hovel!

The location. There was no bedside lamp and the only lamp in the room did not work. Reception staff were unable to change the lamp for one that did work and could not replace the bulb as they did not have any spare bulbs. The tv did not have a remote control.

Location, directly opposite of King's Cross Railway Unaccepatbly small "bathroom" and shower facilities. No way is this a 3 stsr establishment, must be down-marked and even then should review prices!

The buffet breakfast is the best in the area The reception is often unmanned. On arrival, (it was pouring down with rain) I waited at the main door, (getting soaked!) for almost five minutes. There was regularly a "back in 5 minutes" tatty piece of paper on the reception desk

This hotel is ideal for people travelling out of King's Cross or St Pancras as it's only a few minutes walk from both stations. The rooms are small but clean and tidy. Good value given that the price includes breakfast.

Location opposite Kings Cross St Pancras was very convenient for access to central London. Room was very small, even for a budget hotel. The bed was on a slope sideways and both communal showers on the floor took a long time to warm up and had very poor water pressure so that it was difficult to wash. Access to the hotel wifi didn't work from the top floor either.

No lift. No telephone in room. The TV didn't work properly. The bedside light and light over the basin didn't work. The "en-suite" was little more than a converted cupboard! I didn't think it was worth even the comparatively modest price for a central London hotel.

We arrived at St Pancras station and the hotel was just across the road (underpass available) so very convenient for trains and underground. Hotel ok if you want basic accomodation and plan to be out and about most of the time. We had room 32, a triple for two nights. The separate toilet was in a very cramped 'cupboard'. The separate shower was also in a cramped cupboard. One of the small window panes had a taped over crack. Main room light had no lampshade. No bedside lights. Could hear rumbling presumably from the underground tube lines. On a previous occasion we had stayed in Comfort Suite Hotel in neighbouring Argyle Street and much preferred the accommodation there.

The location is good, is just a minutes walk to the underground station and the St. Pancra International Station. The breakfast in the hotel was really good. The room and the toilet was really very small. Without lift and the staircase was too small. The rent that we paid is too expensive for this kind of hotel.

“The staff at Crestfield were absolutely friendly and helpful. The room was small as are all London hotels that are affordable, but I didn't mind it at all. The best part of staying at the Crestfield Hotel is the location. It is a block away from the King's Cross tube stop, which is in the heart of the city. Also, the Pancras International train station is there as well, making easy to grab a train to France/Belgium and the rest of Europe. Can't beat it!” Tony, Studio City |
